Chapter 23: tea party (2)
Luke's POV:
There was once a certain boy who was no different than any other boy of his social clique.
He had almost everything, power, wealth and knights pedigree. Like most other boys born like him he was confident, he thought the world was a game for him to play and win, he was a winner and everyone else is a loser, it was almost boring how easily and effortlessly he dominated every subject he competed at.
He took that power for granted, unfairly claiming it as his when he had done absolutely nothing to earn it.
He was conceited, selfish, unscrupulous and completely lacking in any form of decency, diligence and wisdom or knowledge.
And that was going to be his life.
Or at least that's what it should've been...
One day, everything changed...
On that day the vain and short-sighted brat caught a glimpse of what he could only describe as an angel, she shone as brightly as the stars that lit up the night sky.
