Circuit

'What madness! Is this what the inside of a noble mage's kitchen looks like?' Maria thought in astonishment as she watched various objects float and organize themselves on trays held by golems. 

The golems, divided into groups, repeated the assigned pattern with precision: one for food, another for tea, and the last for dessert. 

Although they managed to transport the materials to be prepared by the floating kitchen instruments, the final result always ended up on the floor. 

'Are there really no more humans? How long must we wait for those things to bring us the food?' Elizabeth wondered impatiently upon seeing the situation. 

Seeing the vampire's impatient gaze, Hugo said aloud, 

"Let's wait patiently. They will bring something good soon." 

To Hugo's surprise, the vampire and the maid showed more expressions about what was happening in the kitchen than Aria did. 

Aria, on the other hand, did not take her eyes off the golems with an unflappable expression. 

'What is she thinking?' Hugo wondered. 

The minutes passed, and the food continued to fall to the floor. 

'Is this some kind of joke!?' Elizabeth thought angrily, looking at the mage with suspicion. 

They had been waiting for more than 5 minutes, when would he start teaching something to Aria?

Maria couldn't stop laughing at the chaos replay. Before Elizabeth could say anything, Aria spoke. 

"Why don't you fix the circuit?" 

The mage smiled upon hearing her. 

"Could you elaborate? What is wrong with that circuit?" 

"No matter how long we wait, neither the tea nor the meals will go to the trays because of the circuit design," Aria explained. 

"Do you think you can fix it?" asked Hugo mockingly. But to his surprise, the girl stood up. 

Gradually, Aria approached the spot where the objects were falling and began to make certain gestures with her hands that Elizabeth and the mage recognized instantly.

'Eh? What is Aria doing? Why is she moving her hands like a clown?' Maria wondered, confused. 

'Well, if that's her dream...' Maria thought, trying to motivate Aria with gestures of approval. 

'This has to be a joke...' Hugo thought in surprise as he saw how the circuit he had created as a joke was being modified by such a small girl. 

'When did Miss Aria learn that?' Elizabeth wondered incredulously, while observing Maria, who kept making gestures of approval towards Aria. 

'Did she teach her that!?' Elizabeth thought, seeing the pride that Maria showed. 

Without a doubt, she was responsible for this. 

'I must report this to the queen without fail!' 

Suddenly, a loud noise resonated when all the cups and kitchen utensils fell to the ground. 

[Circuit modification failed. Circuit destroyed] 

Feeling a burning sensation in her hands, Aria began to feel dizzy, falling backward. 

Before she touched the ground, a shadow swiftly slid out from under Elizabeth's skirt and materialized as a human figure right behind Aria, catching her. 

Gradually, the shape of the shadow stabilized into that of a girl slightly bigger than Aria, with pale skin, hair, and eyes dark as the night. 

By her presence, Hugo quickly recognized that she was a specter of the night.
