The eye of God and the movements of the Ministry

The previous chapter was edited because when I wrote it, I forgot to put some dialogue in the scene, after all, how on earth would a 10-year-old boy know who leads the Triad in London?

Anyway, I hope you like the new chapter, and if we hit 50 power stones, a double chapter will come out tomorrow.

Chapter 7: The eye of God and the movements of the Ministry

The next day, Simon noticed that something in him had changed. His mind was taking in a lot of information, and everything felt different. His perception of depth and space were significantly altered, he could also see through walls, and seeing people walking outside, he saw that he could see them moving more slowly at times or what their next movement would be.

Scared, Simon closed his eyes for a moment, and everything returned to darkness. Opening them slightly, he noticed that only his left eye was sending this information to him. Keeping his left eye closed, Simon stood up and grabbed a small mirror before looking at what had happened to his eye.

Opening his eyelids, Simon saw that his once black left eye had disappeared and had become a blue eye with small circles that rotated slightly. Looking at that eye, it took Simon a moment to remember where he had seen it before.

Until memories about a certain anime from his previous life came to light.

- The eyes of God. Although they are not very powerful, they allow me to see much further than the truth.

Simon closed his left eye because the amount of information he received from him was too great and left him confused and nauseated. He would need some time to get used to it.

Feeling that each time his eyes were activated, his magical power was being consumed, Simon decided to leave his left eye blindfolded for a while until he discovered how to make the use of the eye active instead of passive, as he realized he could "turn off" the power.

From his left eye, he just needed to figure out how. Placing a cloth on his face, so he could blindfold his eye, Simon felt ridiculous, before standing up and looking at the jewel on his work desk. He hadn't looked at her properly last night due to tiredness, but now he could see how beautiful she was.

She was kind of oval and had a smooth, shiny surface, with a red color that resembled blood. Simon looked at the jewel and noticed that it looked like just an ordinary jewel. He didn't emit a dark energy about her, nor did he have an evil air about her, and not even a bit of magical power could be felt even touching her. It was just a jewel.

Simon placed the jewel next to an iron cord and fused them together into a necklace, which he put on himself. Before, Simon wanted to create a homunculus, but there were some extenuating factors that prevented him from doing so.

First, he wouldn't know how to create a homunculus that was 100% loyal to him. In FMA, the Father uses part of his soul to create the philosopher's stones that serve as the nucleus and body of the homunculi, in other words, they are an extension of the Father.

In theory, everyone is faithful and loyal to him, but even so, Greed still ended up betraying his Father twice. So Simon, who didn't know how to separate parts of himself to create a faithful homunculus, didn't want to take any chances.

Of course, he knew about Horcruxes and how they were made, but he only knew the theory of them. Playing with your own soul is different from playing with the souls of others, he was not willing to become a freak like Voldemort.

Second, he didn't have time. The month of May would soon come to an end, and with it, the Hogwarts admission letters would begin to be sent out. In two months, it would be difficult to create a functional enough homunculus, so Simon decided to take the opportunity to expand his knowledge at Hogwarts and then create his homunculi.

With this in mind, Simon decided to abandon any idea of creating a homunculus for now and instead wait for the Hogwarts admission letter.

While Simon was replanning things, at the Ministry of Magic, the current Minister, Cornelius Fudge, had his hands resting on the table as he read the report about a fire that destroyed an abandoned warehouse, alarming Muggles.

Normally news of this type should not pass through his hands; however, the presence of a large outbreak of magical energy and the reports from two of his Aurors who investigated the place and said they found nothing, left him somewhat alarmed.

Turning to his assistant, who was awaiting orders from him, Fudge spoke lightly.

- What happened in that warehouse?

- We don't know, sir, but we are sure that a ritual was probably performed; otherwise, the magic would not remain so chaotic in the place.

- Hmm, send someone to Moody and have him look into this. Although he's a bit crazy, Moody has more knowledge about dark magic and rituals than most of the Aurors we have available.

- Yes, sir.

Seeing the assistant leave, Fudge sighed softly before waving her quill and writing a letter to Albus Dumbledore, explaining the situation and asking for his help in convincing Moody to help them.

Although Moody was an Auror and was considered a big star, given the number of Death Eaters he arrested, he did not get along very well with Fudge, who seemed to hide behind a desk while others did his dirty work.

Additionally, due to having made many enemies during the wizarding war, he developed a cautious and somewhat paranoid nature. Finishing the letter, Fudge began to look at other documents, while leaving the matter of the fire to someone else to resolve for him.

2 weeks after. Simon was sitting in front of a cafe having a cup of tea and eating a piece of cake. His clothes were formal and clean; he wore a white shirt under a black vest and wore a silver chain around his neck; his pants were clean and well-groomed; and his hair, which was now neatly cut, was combed back.

He also had an eye patch over his left eye, but seemed to ignore it as he looked at the people passing in front of him. Simon has spent the last few days training his left eye to analyze different types of information, and with it, he was able to make significant progress in his research, especially when it came to human souls.

He kidnapped a few more people the last few nights, before killing them and seeing what happened when he used the soul seal on them. Last time, his success was the result of luck, but this time, with the use of the eye of God, he can see through the "path" that the soul took before cutting it and dragging the soul into a container, which was the armor.

This time, however, his magical power was not consumed, but rather the energy of the philosopher's stone that he wore. After repeating the process three more times, Simon wanted to take the next step, but unfortunately he ran out of time, and as expected, the letter from Hogwarts arrived.
