Open Up vs. Avoid

Arin: (hahaha).

Arin's laughter echoed throughout the balcony, and meanwhile, Mansa and Kee were walking to the classroom door. They opened the door, and the cold wind came from outside the forest, gently passing by. In front of them was a scene full of fun on the balcony, where the wind moved the pine trees to the rhythm, and a smiling Arin was chatting with Mr. Vernin.

Mansa: (turns around and whispers to Kee) Wow. We can only see Arin this happy when she's in Mr. Vernin's class.

Mansa then gently walked back and looked outside the balcony to find Adam with Kee strolling behind her. She was excited to give Adam the surprise drink she made for him, but her smile faded when she stepped out onto the balcony.

Mansa: (with a confused face and said) Hey Arin, where is my Adam? Isn't he in the same class as you?

Arin and Mr. Vernin immediately raised their heads to look at Mansa and Kee.

Arin: Well, Adam left the class a few minutes ago. He said he wanted to leave class early.

Vernin: (stands up and says) Hello Kee and Mansa, long time no see you two. How are you doing?

Kee: (quickly replied to Mr. Vernin with a friendly smile) Oh yes, we're doing very good. Is Arin bothering you again today, teacher?

Vernin: (laughs) Well, it's not because I was late to class. I just wanted to make up the time for Arin.

Meanwhile, Adam walked in from behind. He forced a smile for the first time of the day when he suddenly made eye contact with Mansa. Suddenly, she ran over and hugged Adam with an excited face when he had not yet reacted. Everyone was watching from the balcony and didn't realize Adam was there.

Mansa: Adam, where did you go? I was so worried when I didn't see you in class.

Adam immediately looked at Arin and carefully used his hands to gently push Mansa away as if he was afraid that Arin would misunderstand something.

Adam: (replying in shock with a hoarse voice) Nothing. I'm just walking around.

Mansa: (smiling and holding Adam's wrist) Oh okay, and why are you shy? I'm sorry, hihi.

A few minutes ago:

The class is going on normally with lively comments from Arin. Adam suddenly stood up and spoke.

Adam: (face without any emotion) I'd like to leave class first because it seems like today's lesson has ended.

(turns head to look at Arin) Well, Arin, today mom asked me to bring you some cakes. When school is over, go to my locker and get it...(deep voice), and the password is still the same.

Arin: (trying to avoid Adam's eyes) Um, please send a thank you note to your mom for me.

Without waiting for an answer from the teacher, Adam immediately turned and walked away. Mr. Vernin directly looked after Adam and said:

Vernin: Adam, come to class next time. Don't skip class.

Adam put his hand on the doorknob and turned his head to bow to the teacher, then he walked out and closed the door. From his pocket, he took out a picture of himself standing with an unknown girl when they were both still children. He looked at the picture for a long time and then walked away in a frustrated mood.

BONUS SCENE: Teacher Vernin and Arin's conversation before Mansa and Kee entered the classroom:

Then she immediately turned her head in embarrassment and burst out laughing. Vernin looked at her and laughed.
