Beginning of Disaster pt. 2

"Tha-tha-that's a Dragon?!"

It was a first time I have seen a dragon, and that's big. There's no way we could defeat that.

"Dragon was said to be Guardians of this World. Why is it on a rampage? I have to help Captain or they will surely die."

That ferocious dragon. No one could escape once it attacks. It will leaves nothing but dust.

I have to stop Libera. (Grabbing Libera's hand)

"Libera! There's nothing we could help. They're done."

-"We have been taught never to be scared of the enemy and never turns back on my comrades. I am an adventurer. An adventurer risk their lives to achieve their goal never backing out."

"But Libera! This is a thing we couldn't handle. That's a huge Dragon!"

Captain found us out and while trying to defend the Dragon's attack.

"Libera! Run now! Leave it to us!

-"I won't leave you Captain!"

Libera pull her hands off me and run towards the Camp. The Dragon flew upwards charging power from his mouth and is about to unleash the Dragon Flame. I have to get out of this! (Running)

I'm sorry, Captain. Libera. I'm just a coward. I don't want to die again.

(Memories flashing on my head)

"Wakey, Wakey... my little boy. Welcome to the World."

(Village on Fire)

"Please... save... my child. Please protect Balft."

"I will... You may rest in peace."

(Back to Present)

"The memories of Blaft. This body experience much pain, I couldn't imagine."

I walk faster and further away from the Camp. I've seen the Dragon flew away. But I won't return to the camp. I don't want to see their ashes. I'm ashamed.

(Sound of flapping Wings)

"Oh no! The Dragon sensed me!"

Not far, I see a Cave. I've got to run towards it.

Dragon flew through, thankfully, I lie down the ground before it can grab me. Before he attack again, I rushed towards the nearby cave and hide. "What a Genius! XD"

(Breathing deeply...)

I think, it's gone.

Sometime later, A young man came to look for me.

"Hello?! Are you still there? Blaft?"

Oh. he's a companion of Libera. I think it's okay to go out.

"Thanks God! You survived! Captain and Libera are looking for you."

What? They're safe?!

"Oh! They survived the attack!"

—"Yes. We thought we were goner that moment. But, the Dragon. diverted his attack from us. I wonder what's happening to him. He seems trying to stop himself from harming people. And then, he flew away."

"Maybe, he's not a bad dragon."

—"Actually, Dragons are not monsters. They are Guardians protecting Iruna. It's unusual for them going on rampage."

Yeah. I know. That time when I was playing Iruna, Dragons are Servants to God. But, I fought one of them. He tested my ability.

I followed him and we came to the camp, seeing everyone is safe, not even wounded.

The sun is about to set when we came back to the camp. The first person my eyes caught is Libera.

"Oh! Here he is! A scaredy cat!"

I know she's mad at me for what happened. I should have realized that earlier after stopping her.

-"I'm sorry Libera."

Libera focusses her eyes on me then started laughing.

"Hahahaha!!"

Tenert approaches me while holding a cup of liquor.

"Libera is just making fun of you."

"That Dragon were just so big. It's natural to be afraid. But, we are family. We can't turn our back if someone is in danger. That's how stickier our bond is."

"We live and experienced many difficulties in life, battling monsters. But... you are just a rookie."

-"Yeah. right... I'm sorry guys."

The Night comes and everyone were asleep, except me.

I walk apart from them and sits at the mountaintop alone while gazing at the stars. I'm still thinking how pathetic I am recently. I was so scared. But, Libera... If that Dragon really gone out of control? They might get all killed. I just can't stop thinking. Otherwise, I'm happy they're all safe.

(Footsteps approaching)

"Why aren't you sleeping?"

-"Recently... I run cowardly and never tried to look back. I'm ashamed."

"Don't make yourself regret. Besides, your actions are just natural... If I were you, I also ran out of nowhere. That time when you were stopping me, I was also thinking of running away. But. I remembered all those cherish moments as their companion. I decided to go with them, no matter what happens."

-"Captain Tenert saw a potential on me, but I disappointed him."

"Don't let that potential go to waste! You should go to sleep now."

Libera's gone. I have to be active. There are monsters out there. I won't let it happen again.

(Memories Flashing)

A mysterious man approaching...

"Don't waste your effort Balft. You should turn over the Princess and let her return to the Capital to take her responsibility for her people."

The man fades and then appears the Three individuals wearing full plated armors.

Balft back in his consciousness...

"It was just a dream. Or maybe, a memory of this body."

(Sun rises)

"Wakey! Wakey!!"

"It's time for us to go!"
