Chapter Forty Six

Damon went to look for the innkeeper when the next morning came.

"Mr.Keep i want to ask about the dancing witches of yesterday's night" Damon told him when they were headed towards the inn garden around dawn.

The innkeeper looked around in search of anyone trying to eavesdrop on them but he couldn't find one because everyone was still experiencing the aftermath of yesterday's masquerade ball.Vampires don't really need much sleep,if it had been any other day the garden would have had a visitor but everyone is a bit tired because of last night activities.

'Mr.Damon who do you really want to know about? The dancing witches or the one with blonde hair and seductive body?' Mr.Keep went straight to the point because he witnessed the prince leaving the ball room while being followed by the prettiest witch.Maybe he doesn't know,but he really angered a lot of important guests who have had their eyes on the pretty witch.

"Tell me all about the one with blonde hair" he answered.

Mr.Keep smiled knowingly before giving him a detailed information about the witch.

'Her name is Alice,she is a very powerful witch.I heard that she left the magical realm just because she wanted to meet the most dangerous vampire.You can see,she is crazy and she have a love for dangerous things and i think prince Ephraim had just been added to the list.She is also the heir to the throne because the current witch queen doesn't have a female child she only has a crazy son,and we all know that only female witches are allowed to rule the magical realm since the queen only have a prince,she will be forced to pick an apprentice that will take over from her since contests have been prohibited' the innkeeper explained.

Damon thanked the inn owner before going back to his room to dress up and report back to the prince.After he had cleaned up,he went to wake the soldiers who had passed out after feeding and enjoying theirselves because he does not know what his prince had planned for them today.It wouldn't be nice for them to not be ready when the prince called for them,that will really anger the prince.

[Get up guys!!! You wouldn't really like angering the prince now cause trust me,he is not in a good mood] Damon's voice rang through the soldiers head when he got to the room they are all passed out in.

The sleeping soldiers immediately opened their eyes after they heard their second leader voice in their heads and they began to pick up their scattered clothes when they saw his menacing face before each one of the soldiers disappeared back to their rooms leaving only Darth,since they passed out in his room.

Darth cleared his throat while he uses his hand to arrange his hair since he doesn't know what to say to their prince aide after he had telepathically cursed at his friends who just left him without warning.

"You too get dressed because i don't know what will be happening today" Damon said to him before disappearing from the room while Darth just smiled in embarrassment after their second leader left before he went to prepare for the day.

Damon appeared back inside prince Ephraim room.

"Why are you acting like a thief,not coming in through the door?" Ephraim asked his aide when he appeared in his room.

'Forgive me your highness.I happened to make use of my magic because i was in a haste to get to you' Damon answered.

"So what have you found out?" Ephraim asked him another question after he took the coat Euphy used on the day she went to the market with his twin sisters in his hands before inhaling her calming scent.

Damon looked at his prince in surprise because he hadn't thought that his prince wouldn't have the coat the soon to be princess used washed just so he could smell her scent whenever he is far away from her.He came out of his thoughts when he felt his prince glare,he cleared his throat before repeating what the innkeeper told him to his prince.

"So she is the infamous foster daughter of the witch queen" Ephraim summarized while Damon rolled his eyes.

Which part of his summary pointed out Alice as the adopted daughter of the witch queen? Damon asked in his mind.

'What are we doing today?' He asked his prince.

"Today? Nothing much,we are going for a hunt" Ephraim said as he smiled crazily.

'Are the soldiers coming along' he asked because he knew what the hunt meant,they will be investigating some things hidden and secretive at the black market today.

"Yes of course,we will be setting out once I'm done so inform them" Ephraim replied.Damon bowed before disappearing from the room.

What a crazy family indeed.He didn't know that his crazy friend is going through a lot.His friend will have to keep up with his mother's crazy apprentice while he fufil his princely duties,he really pity Roith......
