CHAPTER 16 Disappearance

  Olivia's POV

In the following days, Emily often looked at me with anger in her eyes, which seemed to mean that I had angered her this time. However, Emily's gaze didn't affect my mood at all. On the contrary, it made me feel better.

  But that wasn't enough.

Just you wait for it, Emily. There are even bigger surprises waiting for you.

Soon it was the day of the engagement ceremony that Lucas and I had chosen again. I arrived early at the hotel venue, went to the dressing room to put on makeup and change into my dress, and then put on the necklace that Lucas had given me.

When I was ready for everything, the ceremony was about to begin. This time there were no unidentified drinks or any suspicious people around me.

I took a deep breath and relaxed. There wouldn't be any mistakes this time.

"Miss Olivia, it's almost time," said the Omega maid beside me.

  "Okay, I know."
