CHAPTER 7

Y/N'S POV

I was sitting in the infirmary waiting for Enid to find everything needed to take care of my little wound. It wasn't something to worry about, it was totally unnecessary to come with me. I waited by playing with my legs until she got everything and left it next to me before taking some cotton and soak it in alcohol.

-Enid: Y/N... This will sting - said worried while pulling it closer to my wound.

-Y/N: I like it - smiled while enjoying the feeling.

-Enid: As expected - took care of my care by being extremely cautious - Do you want me to search for some pain killers?

-Y/N: As you wish - I sat properly - I won't run away, you are in control at the moment.

-Enid: - gave me a pill and made sure swallowed it before putting a band-aid on my cheek - We are finished - smiled - I know you won't like this, but you look adorable. Kinda remind me to little kids when they get hurted.

-Y/N: I have nothing to do with kids - stood up - Not even the innocence. Actually, I would say you are more alike than me.

-Enid: I can be very mature if I want to - answered while playing with her fingers.

-Y/N: Sure, can't believe it - smirked - Wanna bet?

-Enid: Sure - such a stupid decision to bet against a kitsune - What are we betting?

-Y/N: Let's do something easy... If you are able to sleep without any of your plushies you'll prove me that you are mature enough, then I'll do whatever you want for a day.

-Enid: Whatever I want?

-Y/N: - nodded - Anything, I always keep my words.

And just like that, I found myself taking all Enid's plushies into my room shared with Yoko. The vampire wanted to kill me, from the beginning she warned me about having plushies... But I didn't care. Competing against Enid was the same as facing a child, and I wanted to prove her how wrong she was. For my surprise, she actually was the one helping me to get rid of her plushies, luckily both our rooms were in Ophelia Hall's dorm.

-Enid: And that's the last one, all of them are here - sighed and looked at me - This bet is such a piece of cake.

-Y/N: Night's not here yet, we'll see what happens once darkness takes over your room and the only thing you have to hug is my cousin - smirked.

-Yoko: That's scary - commented while she finished getting ready - Tonight I won't be coming back, I have a VERY important date with Divine so I'll be with her.

-Y/N: - nodded - I hope she doesn't go soft on you once you arrive late.

-Yoko: Thank you roomie, I also love you - sarcastically answered and stopped at the door - Just one more thing... Take care of her - said referring to Enid.

-Enid: I don't need anyone taking care of me! - complained and waited until Yoko was gone - Do I look that weak?

-Y/N: Not weak, just harmless - I crossed my arms - I think you would be what people call... "Adorable" - I faked being throwing up while saying it.

-Enid: You think I'm adorable? - played with her fingers while looking at me intensely.

-Y/N: We should plan how to get into the fencing club without getting caught - I changed the topic quickly - Bianca and her group have any type of guards?

-Enid: You didn't answer my question - got in front of me and tried to make visual contact.

-Y/N: If she has someone guarding, we should get rid of them before - I kept on avoiding her - What's siren's weak spot?

-Enid: Still not answering - kept on getting on my way - C'mon, it's easy. Do you think I'm adorable?

I stopped walking around and just like what happened when we first met, we kept looking at each other for a while. I liked the blue on her eyes everytime more and it made me impossible to keep the eye contact. I couldn't resist it, somehow I ended up giving up to her.

-Y/N: Enid - I called her seriously - You are the most similar livingwere to Wednesday's scorpion, not even in Japan I've seen creatures like that one. And there it's pretty normal to find cute stuff.

-Enid: That's a "yes"?

-Y/N: That's a "I've already answered", and now... Can we plan how to get into the fencing room?

-Enid: It'll be easy, there's no guards or anything like that. Actually, I would dare to say that they don't even lock the door. It'll be opened.

-Y/N: Awesome, it's like a weapon shop opened the 24 hours - smiled satisfied - Why didn't you tell me sooner? That place could be my favourite now - I left the room followed by Enid - Is everyone sleeping?

-Enid: - checked the time on her phone - I don't know if they are sleeping, but they surely are on their rooms. There's no danger, we can keep going.

Just like that we walked through the academy until we reached the fencing room. Once there, we changed into the fencing costumes ready to start our practice. Enid usually used colorful clothes, but it would be such a crime not to talk about how great white suited her. Being the opposite to my cousin, who was obsessed with black, I loved white. I felt in peace, and calmed most of the time... But it also made feel quite excited at the thought of ruining it.

-Enid: Why are you so silent? Are we starting? - she used the helmet and got on guard.

-Y/N: I was just thinking... If we bleed, we'll get our costumes dirty - smirked - I would like it.

-Enid: What are you talking about?

-Y/N: Addams thing, you can call me crazy if wished... I can't help it but to try ruining everything what's pure - I took off the sword's protection - Can we fight seriously?

-Enid: I'm not as good as Wedns at this, it could have a very bad ending - said worried before doing the same I did with her sword.

-Y/N: Enid - I took off my helmet - I told you before, I don't want to see you hurted.

-Enid: You just said you want to ruin color white,

-Y/N: You are not the only one wearing it - smirked - Go hard on me - I got on guard.

-Enid: You are as weird as Wednesday - she made a funny face - But she has never asked me to ruin her, you are the first one in that - said before running towards me.

Enid was right when she said that she wasn't good at fencing, however her body moved in such an outstanding way. She jumped, did some back flips in the air and avoided my sword, she was the only one apart from my father and Wednesday to be able to do that. All the persons I faced before ended up with cuts and wounds, but surely my intention was not to hurt her. It was just a practice after all.

-Enid: Well - she caught her breath - Not bat at all, huh? - smiled.

-Y/N: - denied with my head - Nope, you are much better than expected.

At some point my rival started using her claws as weapons, so I had to move faster to dodge them as well as her sword. I was enjoying our training, from all the activities we had done together, it was my favourite.  I enjoyed feeling the adrenaline running through my veins, I was chasing her with the intention of cutting her and she was doing exactly the same with me. Was there anything more honest than the pure desire of winning?

- Y/N: - tried hitting her but instead I hit the light switch and we turned the lights off - Shit - I complained.

As we couldn't see in the darkness, Enid jumped on me and made the two of us fall to the ground. I couldn't dodge her jump and her claws pierced my shoulder. Great, it was such a nice day for my masochistic self. First an arrow ripped my cheek and now a werewolf pierced my shoulder with her claws. I was starting to like Nevermore.

-Enid: Y/N I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you - said worried.

-Y/N: You are so close - I said once I realised she was sitting on my lap. I could only see her silhouette thanks to the moonlight breaking throught the curtains. I hated to admit it, but I was enjoying the sight I had at the moment.

-Enid: Somehow I always end up on top of you - giggled but suddenly went silent - You are bleeding, I just felt your shoulder wet. I'm trully sorry for-

-Y/N: You've ruined white - smiled hoping she didn't see my dumb face - You just did as I asked you to. Thank you Enid, I had lot of fun - sincerely said.

-Enid: - leaned over to get her face closer to mine - Really? - smiled once she saw me nodding - I also had a lot of fun. Are we coming back tomorrow?

-Y/N: Surely - I used my elbows to stand a bit - We should go back. Don't you think? You have to keep your word and our bet, no plushies tonight - I reminded her.

-Enid: - smiled and nodded - Let's go, I'll prove you I'm not a kid.
