CHAPTER 57

Y/N'S POV

I noticed the sun rays sneaking through the window and that brought me out of the dream I was in, I opened my eyes slowly and was pleasantly surprised to be lying next to Enid. The wolf was sleeping in my direction so I took advantage of the quiet moment to observe her and admire every damn detail of her face, I found her so fucking irresistible that I wasn't even bothered by her little snarls when sleeping.

I stood there staring at her until involuntarily my hands moved to move a lock of her hair away and expose her beautiful scars even more. I smiled as soon as I saw her make a face upset that I had parted her hair, she became too adorable to me. To an Addam, what was considered adorable usually seemed vomitous, but Enid was the exception, my exception. I leaned on my elbows to stand up in her direction and then I left a brief kiss on her forehead before getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

I was washing my face when through the bathroom mirror I saw the reflection of someone else behind me, I turned quickly but there was no one. It seemed strange to me, but I decided not to give it importance, the day had just begun as if to look for complications. I felt a presence behind me again and this time when I turned around I ran into Wednesday crossing her arms and glaring at me.

-Wednesday: You are disgusting - she commented - I wonder how it will feel to look at someone the way you look at Enid, it's so disgustingly cloying that I've considered putting a lover on the front of my novel.

-Y/N: Inspired by our relationship? - I said surprised.

-Wednesday: No, my protagonist alone gathers more neurons than you and Enid will ever gather - she pushed me out of the bathroom - I was just asking you about the feeling of admiring someone so much, almost as if it were your reason for existing. As you well know, I don't think I'll ever get to experience something like that because I love myself too much to love someone on that same level - she closed the bathroom door.

-Y/N: I'll take it as you think we make a good couple - I said walking away from the door and feeling some arms around my neck pulling me back.

I took a few steps back but I tripped over the edge of Enid's bed and fell into it giving the wolf all the advantage over me. She just smiled and caressed my face while I settled down and lay down next to her. Everything that had happened to us the last few days had been so strange and exhausting that it felt like millennia had passed since the last time I could be with her in peace.

-Y/N: How long has it been since the last time I slept with you? - I commented while looking into her eyes with a goofy smile on my face - Before you ask me, yes. I've missed you, Enid - I rolled my eyes at the sight of the winning smile she put on.

-Enid: I've missed you too plushie - she said kissing my cheek fleetingly - Although I almost killed you yesterday, I was really furious with you and Wedns. You told me there was no danger! - she told me off.

-Y/N: Did you call me "plushie"? - I looked at her confused - Isn't it very cheesy?

-Enid: I also said that I wanted to kill you, it's not my fault that you only pay attention to what interests you - she let out a giggle.

-Y/N: What interests me... - I stood looking into her eyes for a few moments - I'm interested in your lips.

- Yoko: Which of the two lips? The ones on the face or the ones on the bottom? - she said funny from the entrance of the room.

I rolled my eyes, got out of bed and grabbed a pillow, calmly walked towards Yoko and left the object in my hands on the floor. I gave a fake smile to the vampire and then I made a key to make her lose her balance and fall to the floor. Then I grabbed the pillow again and pressed it against her face trying to suffocate her.

-Y/N: How dare you interrupt my reunion with Enid!! - I said angry.

- Yoko: You guys literally saw each other yesterday! - she said as she could.

-Y/N: But it was our time alone! - I said something embarrassed and letting her free at last - What do you want bloodsucker?

-Yoko: - she coughed and looked at Enid - You could had defended your best friend, huh. I'm really hurt...- she said dramatically.

- Enid: What can I tell you? - she shrugged his shoulders - Y/N has been gentle with you, I would have used these beauties - she pulled out her claws and then pouted - It's rarely that Y/N initiates our physical contact, I always do it... And because of you I couldn't kiss her!

- Yoko: My mother as we are... One day you set fire to the gym and the other to the other's panties - she said amused - I just came to let you know that there is a meeting at the Pentagon today with the director. Apparently this is not good news, so try to arrive on time. Okay?

Wednesday came out of the bathroom and went with Yoko to only she knew where, the blonde and I were left alone and although we had been cut off our moment of intimacy before, it was not a problem to pick it up again. I took Wenny's desk chair and put it under the doorknob to make sure that nothing and no one would interrupt us again.

- Enid: Do you want to kiss me so badly, Addams? - she smiled burlesquely.

- Y/N: Ha... What makes you think that? - I said getting closer to her - Maybe the way I look at you and think about capturing your lips with mine?

-Enid: - she nodded - That's a clear sign of what you want to do with me - she commented flirtatiously - What do you think I want to do with you?

- Y/N: Hmm... The way you're biting your lips and the intense way your gaze tries to get lost with mine - I looked into her eyes and took her gently by the chin to whisper against her lips - it gives me the feeling that you want exactly the same thing as me.

-Enid: - she sighed before looking at my lips and then back into my eyes - Are you going to make me ask you?

-Y/N: You know me very well by now, Sinclair - I said keeping my eyes on hers.

-Enid: - rolled her eyes before shortening our distance even further and whispering in my ear - Kiss me, Y/N. Now.

-Y/N: Don't you ask "please"? - I tried to keep bothering her a little more.

-Enid: - pressed one of her claws under my chin - Does this seem like a "please" enough, mmhhh?

I swallowed hard as I noticed her fingers gripping my hair tightly pulling the occasional snarl out of my throat. Our lips, not at all shy, brushed over and over again giving way to our tongues starting a fire ritual, as if we were both competing to see who could make it faster, deeper, more pleasant. Enid let out a groan and pulled away for a few moments to get some air, noticing my hand trying to sneak under her pajamas. It didn't take more than a few moments to join our mouths again, this time in a slower kiss, transformed into a torture that left us both breathless.

-Enid: Love... We have to go see what the director wants - she said trying to calm the fire that had grown between us - We can always follow up later... If you want and you feel like it, of course.

-Y/N: - I laughed sarcastically - Enid for God's sake, I always feel like having you - I caressed her face - I'm not just talking about the physical, for the record. I feel like having you for everything at all times, I just want to be with you.

-Enid: - she smiled broadly - The feeling is mutual, but duty calls us - she said locking herself in the bathroom.

-Y/N: The bathroom door is my new enemy - I said in a stifled whisper before leaving in search of my uniform.
