CHAPTER 45

Y/N'S POV

The next day in the morning I woke up in a very good mood, curious considering that my family was the Addams. I went to Enid's bathroom and took a quick shower so I could start the day with energy, I was feeling absurdly happy. I usually woke up in a bad mood because I had a hard time getting over the trauma of having to get up early to go to classes, but that day, after the night with the she-wolf... Everything seemed fine to me.

Not only did I feel in a better mood but I also felt much more powerful, I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and started doing absurd poses. I enjoyed seeing my toned body and I enjoyed it even more when I thought that every corner of what I saw had been kissed by the blonde. I smirked at the mirror and pointed at myself without knowing that a small electric shock would come out of the tip of my finger. This one bounced off the mirror and hit me full on. Ouch!

Was I already able to control the electricity? I tried again one more time but no effect seemed to emerge, besides Enid started laughing while looking at me leaning on the door frame and questioning me why I was pointing towards the mirror repetitively. I stopped what I was doing to give my full attention to the woman who managed to melt my cold walls with just one glance.

-Y/N: Good morning - I smiled - Did you sleep well?

-Enid: Better than ever - she said hugging me - I didn't know we were going to do something like that when you sent me the message that you were waiting for me.

- Y/N: Yeah, well... I actually had it half planned - I confessed to her - I'm sorry I didn't wait for the first date - I passed one of her locks of hair behind her ear.

-Enid: But what a naughty girl you are, Addams - she said coming up to me and starting to take off her clothes.

-Y/N: - I swallowed thick - What are you doing?

-Enid: Taking a shower, isn't it obvious? - she smiled coquettishly.

-Y/N: Oh ya, sure - I approached her - And do you need help with it? I remember that you burned your hands and that you couldn't do anything for yourself.

- Enid: That was weeks ago! - she laughed and pushed me out of the bathroom - Sorry Y/N, you can't eat this hottie at all hours - she said closing the door in my face.

I smirked while nodding processing what had just happened, it seemed very attractive to me that suddenly she was playing the difficult one. I didn't want to insist and decided to go back to my room in search of the uniform to go to classes, when I arrived Wednesday was writing while Yoko was still sleeping.

-Y/N: Good morning! - I said with energy - How is that novel going?

-Wednesday: It was going well until you interrupted me - she glared at me - Is it safe to go back to my room?

-Y/N: - I nodded - Totally safe - I smiled - Enid is taking a shower.

-Wednesday: I don't care - she said picking up her things - Have you solved your problem?

-Y/N: Yup - I said proudly as I started to undress - It was amazing Wenny, seriously. And today I feel so good, so alive... I think even my abilities have been enhanced.

-Wednesday: Sex helps to lift spirits and get rid of stress, it's normal for you to feel like this - she said expressionlessly - But stop commenting on it, you're going to make my ears bleed - she came closer to me - By the way... This has arrived - she said handing me an envelope.

-Y/N: What is it? - I said confused as I opened it, it was a letter.

"Addams, this has only just begun. Do not think that you can always stay safe inside the walls of the academy, we are not the only ones trying to hunt you down. If you really consider that the life of the rest of the students is valuable, you will meet us on the outskirts of Jericho in the forest clearing.

- Brooke."

-Wednesday: And not only that, the letter was accompanied by photographs - she passed them to me - If you look, in each and every one of them there is a shadow behind us.

-Y/N: Fantastic, as if we didn't have enough fun with my mom... - I sighed - Wait, they're coming after you too. Why?

-Wednesday: The Joseph Crackstone case hasn't been completely solved yet, I haven't been able to find my stalker yet - she said looking at me seriously - And yes, that's what I've been working on with Tyler since the beginning - But your mother showed up and complicated everything.

- Wednesday: Revenge may be the driving force of this whole situation, but no. We must not underestimate your mother, after all she was close to finishing you and Enid almost at the same time - she shook her head - We can't take risks... Anyway. Have you broken the link?

- Wednesday: It has to be done before the dance, do you understand? -Y/N: No, but you know what they say... "Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer" - I said looking at her seriously and throwing myself on my bed - Too bad, how happy I was - I sighed.

- Wednesday: Are you going to tell Enid something about this?

-Y/N: Uhm... No? She's really excited about this year's prom, I can't ruin it for her. I'd rather keep her safe on our own without involving her, she's suffered enough already.

- Wednesday: Well, then it will be a secret between us - she said passing by me - Burn the letter and the photos, I have already memorized everything that the envelope contained.

-Y/N: - I nodded - Whatever you say.

I still hadn't solved the conflict with my mother who had already got me into a new one with Wednesday and her stalker. What a fantastic way to start the day and the week! I packed the backpack with the books I would need during the morning and started my way to the cafeteria, I had to talk to the wolf about the bond as soon as possible. Because one thing was for sure, under no circumstances was I going to allow her to be hurt, I didn't care what I had to do to keep her safe.
