Y/N'S POV
Enid was seriously fighting me and I came close to losing against her on several occasions, in the end I ended up falling to the ground due to exhaustion and not because of the defeat with the sword. The she-wolf came running up and scolded me once more for having overextended myself, although it was most likely a consequence of having been hanging upside down for so long. I was lying on the floor while my chest heaved up and down, for no reason I remembered the night I slept there with the blonde.
-Enid: You're an idiot, you're always worrying me - she put the swords away - I don't know why you can't lead a normal teenage life like the others - she sat down next to me and sighed - Scolding you doesn't make sense, anyway you're going to do whatever you want because that's who you are - she looked at me and smiled slightly - I guess that's one of your charms, you always do what you want without being influenced by others.
-Y/N: I don't know about me, there are things I don't know what to do and I just let myself be guided - I acknowledged - Since I arrived to Nevermore, I haven't stopped facing new situations that have taken me totally out of my comfort zone. That has forced me to adapt to different circumstances and that is making me change my way of being.
-Enid: What a profound reflection - she looked at me - Have you ever regretted coming here? From leaving your country to come to protect your cousin although she clearly doesn't seem to need any protection, rather it's the opposite... After today, we have to protect you from her.
-Y/N: Wenny keeps me sane being the way she is - I smiled - I had a lot of fun with her at the lake today, I would repeat it even knowing that later I would have to be hung up again.
-Enid: I guess that's cute - she made a funny face - Is there anything else you would like to repeat? - she looked at me more seriously causing me to do it too.
-Y/N: A situation I would like to repeat? - I would say that I lay down for a while thinking about it, but I had nothing to think about - I think I would repeat the night we slept here. That night has been etched in my mind... You know, I was just thinking about that moment - I smiled - I liked hanging out like that with you.
I had just finished talking when she moved and lay down next to me leaning on her sides so she could look at me. I imitated her position and turned around so I could see her, it just happened that the moonlight was illuminating her face. Unconsciously my gaze traveled from her eyes to her nose slowly, and from this it continued to descend slowly until it reached her lips. The blonde noticed it and transformed the gesture into a cute smile.
- Enid: Were you looking at my lips? - said coquette - Don't even try to dissemble, Addams. I caught you - she smiled again.
-Y/N: It's not the first time I've done it - I acknowledged - it happens to me sometimes, my eyes end up seeing you intensely and then I find myself gobsmacked again - I sighed.
- Enid: Don't recognize it so easily either! - she complained while trying to cover her face - Why does everything have to be so intense with you? I get too nervous, you destroy all the confidence I gather to be with you just by looking at me - she growled - You are not fair, Kit.
-Y/N: If I'm being honest... You're the one who's pushing me out of my comfort zone the most - I let out a nervous giggle - It's like I'm discovering myself with you, I do things I never would have thought to do.
-Enid: - she got even closer to me - I'm discovering myself with you too - she smiled - There are a lot of new emotions that I experience only by being around you. So it would be fair to say that I am learning a lot with you.
The position we were in, how relaxed I felt at that moment next to her and the intimate talk we were having transported me back to that wonderful night. I stopped for a moment to think about the situation I was in, because Brooke had invited me on a date and that was something new for me. However, it was at times like the one I was sharing with Enid that I felt I shouldn't accept her offer. If I had to keep learning and experiencing new things... I wanted to do it with the she-wolf, not with anyone else.
-Y/N: - I sighed and smiled - You just helped me to make a decision.
- Enid: About what? - she asked confused.
-Y/N: Brooke invited me to have a date with her yesterday and practically declared her feelings to me - I blurted out of nowhere making the blonde sit up so she could look at me - Why are you looking at me like that?
- Enid: Has Brooke asked you out on a date? - she frowned - I really didn't see that coming.
-Y/N: Neither did I, it left me bewildered and that's why I haven't gone to the library today - I swallowed thickly - I haven't had the courage to face something so unknown and so serious. Have I been a coward?
-Enid: - she shook her head - I think it's normal to stop and think when a matter is this serious and apart from your feelings it also involves someone else's - she looked elsewhere - You said that I helped you make a decision... Are you going on a date with Brooke? - she said before hugging his knees.
- Y/N: Enid... I don't know how to put this into words - I sat up and looked at her from the same height - I really appreciate Duncan, she is helping me a lot with the hyde issue. But when I stopped to think and we talked about discovering ourselves... I have realized that I want to discover myself with you - My heart started beating strongly after saying that and it did it even more when Enid looked at me the way she did - So well, I will have to refuse her offer.
The blonde didn't say anything and just kept looking at me intensely in the eyes, it seemed like she was possessed because she hardly even blinked. Her mouth fell open and for a moment it looked like she was going to say something, but finally she tightened her lips again and looked away before saying the next thing.
-Enid: Y/N, I hope that later on you don't regret what you just said - she sighed - I also want to continue discovering myself with you, and after hearing you say such a thing personally I have also made a decision.
-Y/N: I guess it's about making decisions tonight - I smiled nervously.
We were both sitting on the floor of the fencing room, illuminated only by the moonlight that filtered through the curtains, totally alone and in peace. Could there be a better scenario than that? In my mind it didn't exist. But then... The blonde turned to me in a quick movement and pulled the collar of my T-shirt bringing my face closer to hers. I'd be lying if I said she hadn't caught me off guard.
-Y/N: Does this have to do with the decision you have made? - I smirked.
-Enid: I'm not for games after telling us such serious things - she clenched her jaw - Are you aware of what I want to do with you right now? - I kept quiet because once again I was not brave enough to act so she ended up sighing before talking again - Y/N, I want to kiss you.
A few minutes ago Enid had accused me of being unfair, but in reality it was I who had to blame her for leaving me unarmed so easily. The moment I heard the wolf utter that phrase, I felt the most vulnerable because I had no capacity to contradict her. And surprise, I didn't want to do it either. I found myself leaning towards her until our lips came together creating a chemical reaction that eradicated my common sense completely.
- Y/N: Enid...
- Enid: Mmhmm? - she said putting our foreheads together and smiling.
-Y/N: It was disgusting - I said with burning cheeks - I want another one.
-Enid: - she started laughing out loud - I can't believe it, Addams! You don't know what all this means to me... I'm elated! I would even start barking. Did you just ask me for a kiss? - she put on duck lips.
-Y/N: Forget it - I laughed and pushed her away from me - I've already lost the urge.
- Enid: What? No, wait - she tried to catch me but I dodged her - Damn you, Kit...
-Y/N: Let's go back to our rooms, come on - I smiled - It's getting very late.
-Enid: - nodded and came up to me to intertwine our hands - But... What does what just happened mean?
-Y/N: I don't know, we'll have to find out little by little - I shrugged my shoulders - I think we don't need to run or rush either.
-Enid: Sounds good to me, let's go slowly and in good handwriting - she looked at me and I could literally see little glitters coming out of her eyes - Y/N... This has been the best night of my life.
-Y/N: Mine too, Enid - I squeezed her hand tighter.
