1 CHAPTER 1

Y/N'S POV

I was helping "Lurch" taking my suitcases along Wednesday's inside the car, soon we would be heading towards Nevermore. It was weird, even though my cousin had a serious face, I could feel some kind of excitement on her eyes. Very strange from her, I could only see her like that whenever she tortured her brother.

-Y/N: It's weird not receiving any complains because I'm going with you to Nevermore - I said sitting next to her inside the car.

-Wednesday: - she looked at me from head to toe - I didn't make this decision, neither my parents. It was uncle Fester the one who decided to get you into the academy. I have no right to question how is he raising you.

-Y/N: Always so weak when it comes to him - I rolled my eyes and looked through the car's window - I can't fin the point of getting me inside an academy fulled of hormonal teens from head to toe.

-Wednesday: It's a torture - she almost smiled - One of those you enjoy.

We bit our goodbye to uncle Gomez and aunt Morticia and also Pugsley, then Lurch started driving towards Nevermore. Througout the whole trip I spent the time admiring the scenery, a dark and cloudy forest. Meanwhile on the other hand, my cousin was entertained sending messages with her phone. ¿When did she start getting interested in those stuff? I thought she was a more traditional person.

At some point I fell asleep and woke up when Thing touched me gently, then I yawned and realised that Wednesday was already gone. How kind of her, she had locked me inside the car despite knowing that I was new there. I sighed and the used my tricks learnt inside the Addams family to get me outside and take my suitcases.

-Y/N: ¿How did she manage to distract Lurch and lock me inside? - I looked at Thing confused.

The hand just excused itself saying it was such a Wednesday thing to do, and as I wasn't surprised either, I tooked my stuff and entered the main building while I was greeted by a lot of "striped" students. I sighed once again and looked at Thing hoping he could tour me around. ¿Where was I supposed to settle in?

-Thing: "This is the principal's office... Even though she died, someone must have taken over her position" - he said through hand sings - "I think you should ask her about your dorm".

I nodded before knocking on the door and entering the office. When I got in, I bumped into a ver sophisticated woman, she looked thin and elegant by dressing formal and looking at me with curiosity from her big chair. I held the eye contact as a great Addams would and walked towards her until I sat in front of her desk. I sat comfortably and cleared my throat before talking, it was a good idea making me someone respectable from the beginning. I didn't want to deal with silly stuff afterwards.

-Y/N: I am Y/N Addams, and I'm guessing you alredy know... I'm new at Nevermore.

-Woman: - nodded - "The Addams" - faked a smile - You are very popular, since your cousin arrived to our institution...A lot of events happened and they made me the new principal of this - she looked around - Despicable place.

-Y/N: Yup, well you are not the firs neither the last one person who hates her job. That's actually what's normal nowadays.

-Woman: - she took a deep breath and cleared her throat - I'm Melanie Duncan and I'm also new here. I hope this year to me calm and also that we are able to finish teh course without any accident - she got up and offered me her hand.

-Y/N: Not to offend, but I'm not into physical contact - I got up as well - I've been informed and you are the one in charge of telling me where I'll settle in.

-Melanie: - nodded - You are in the same dorm as your cousin, Ophelia Hall. Obviously in a different room as she already has a roomate.

-Y/N: ¿Is it need to share a room?

-Melanie: I didn't create this place and of course neither the rules, let's just follow them and skip any conflict - she started walking away - Plus, you'll be sharing with one of Wednesday's friends.

-Y/N: My cousin doesn't have any - I answered as if it was obvious.

I walked behind Mrs.Duncan and then Thing said goodbye when we passed by Wednesday's room. I focused on memorising all the way until my room and prepared mentally for meeting my roomate. The principal knowcked on the door and then we entered once we received the "ok" to come in.

-Melanie: Hello, as you were already informed: you'll be having a new roomate from now on. She's Y/N Addams - smiled.

-Girl: What's up? - she shaked her hand from her bed - I'm Yoko Tanaka, a pleasure.

-Melanie: Well, I'll let you to get comfortable - she said - If you have any doubt or need anything, you know where to find me - she said before leaving the place.

I looked around the room and sighed in relief when I saw that it was normal. Well, normal... It didn't have any hot guy poster or the typical stupid pictures with friends. There were some vinyls and some red pillows decorating my roomate's bed. She was wearing a round black glasses so for an instance I thought she could be blind, but I was totally wrong.

-Yoko: I'm a vampire - she giggled - Get comfy, you can decorate your room side however you want. I'm no one to judge - smiled - Plus, you aren't as scary as Wednesday during her first days.

-Y/N: Scary? - I turned around and looked at her fixedly - I would rather look innocent... So once your guard's down I can show my real self - I grinned.

-Yoko: Okay, that was actually very Addams from you - admitted - However, you seem more talkative than Wednesday. Do you want me to tour you around?

-Y/N: I guess it's necessary - I walked towards the door when Yoko suddenly stopped me - Don't touch me.

-Yoko: - sighed - Genetics are incredible - smiled - You have to wear your uniform. Are you wearing the black one as your cousin?

-Y/N: The colours obession is just pure silliness, I don't mind the colour - I tooked the stripped uniform - The only thing I dislike are these stripes... But I'll get used to it - I said before changing my clothes.

-Yoko: Take it easy, there's no rush - she sat on her bed again - We have no class until tomorrow.
