CHAPTER 12

Y/N'S POV

Enid was using her parkour skills to dodge my attacks, the truth is that the way she moved was impressive. Her claws were about to reach me several times, however unlike the first day, I managed to dodge them. Our breaths were agitated due to the physical effort we were making, and sweat was running down our body. It had been a good practice.

-Enid: - she put the sword aside and sat down on the floor - Agh... I'm exhausted, you're too fast. How can you jump so much?

-Y/N: Have you never seen a fox hunt? They do it by jumping - I said sitting down in front of her - Tomorrow is already Friday, I will have to go to Jericho for the tournament with the archery club - I sighed.

-Enid: T-Thank you - she said nervously trying to suppress a smile - The moonlight relaxes me, so lying here while we chat... It is really comforting and warm. It makes me regret that I showed such an immature attitude ignoring you without knowing what the thing was about, I'm sorry for getting jealous - she took a breath and sighed - I know that I really had no right to get like that.

I didn't answer her because I just closed my eyes and enjoyed the light that filtered through the curtains. As she had said, the moonlight turned out to be very relaxing and comforting. So much so that it made me let down my guard and I didn't notice that our hands were about to touch, that made me turn my face to look at her again. What was that warm feeling that ran through my body? I closed my eyes again and subtly intertwined my pinky with hers, for some reason I wanted to have a little contact at that moment.

-Y/N: Never mind, it's also been my fault for not clearing things up sooner - I relaxed my body - Enid, I think I could fall asleep like that.

I didn't think it was convenient to break the strange atmosphere that had been created in that place where minutes ago we were attacking each other, so I simply gave in to sleep and fell asleep. The next day, just as I had discussed with the blonde, we got up with the first rays of sunlight and ran to our rooms so as not to be discovered. When I got to my room, it was impossible for me to erase the stupid smile that Enid had made me.

- Yoko: Are you arriving at this time? - she said coming out of the bathroom brushing her hair - What have you been doing? - she came up to me and smelled me - You smell like Enid, her perfume is unique and she doesn't exactly wear little.

-Y/N: Just enough perfume to intoxicate a whole village of dwarfs - I kept smiling - But I don't dislike this smell, it's bearable.

I didn't feel like refuting the vampire's arguments, so I kept quiet and instead took a clean change of clothes so I could get in the shower. Later we met with the rest of the group in the cafeteria to have breakfast, when I saw the wolf I made a pretense of smiling but I repressed it immediately. What was happening to me? I greeted with a general "good morning" and sat down next to my cousin and Thing.

- Wednesday: What happened last night? - she whispered to me - Enid has arrived in the morning. What have you done to her?

-Y/N: Nothing, we just fell asleep after chatting - I drank coffee - Hmm, it's very bitter.

-Wednesday: I know, I've asked for it like this - she glared at me - If you do anything to Enid, I'll finish you without a trace. You know that, don't you?

-Y/N: I didn't have you for someone so possessive, not even her boyfriend is so jealous - I smirked.

-Wednesday: I owe my life to that girl - she acknowledged -She's unbearable in many ways, but I've gotten used to her existence. I simply say that I would not like anything to happening to her, she has had it very difficult to get where she is.

-Y/N: Is she your best friend?

-Wednesday: She has been with me in the worst moments, even without me asking her - she sighed - it was hard for me to understand, but she is my friend. -Wednesday: I admit that for a while you were my favorite company - she glared at me - but you disappeared overnight without any explanation and you never bothered to contact me - she got up from her seat - I've already finished breakfast, I'll go ahead to go to class.

- Enid: Save a site for me, Wedns! - she smiled animatedly.

How could she say such a thing and then walk away as if it had been nothing? What happened back then didn't happen because I wanted to, in fact it was the fault of her dear uncle Fester.
