Venelana and her company were currently sitting on the sand as they gazed at the adorable sight of Vivian trying to build a sandcastle.
They were also helping him while Venelana would wipe his face from time to time as he would tend to get dirt on his face.
No matter how many times it happened he would do it again, he would accidentally wipe or scratch his face with his hands causing them to get dirty. He seemed too excited to pay attention to anything.
It was both adorable and heart-wrenching. Supernatural children tend to mature early and their cognitive abilities are far superior to human children their age.
Thus seeing him get excited with pure joy over the simplest of things only reminded them of his previous circumstances.
The mothers were the ones who took it the hardest but they didn't wallow too much in things that couldn't be changed instead hoped to create a bright future for their child, one that was filled with happiness and love....
....
Tiamat was tenderly gazing at her child while she embraced him to her bosom while she let him feed on her blood. She stroked his back and hair lovingly as she held him close.
She couldn't help but feel a deeper connection to him and felt like she was complete while holding him. It was like whatever was missing in her life was filled, just like the missing piece of the puzzle.
Although she felt a bit irked about sharing her motherhood with another person she wasn't that annoyed. It wasn't that bad and that woman had more experience than her in being a mother.
Although she might not admit it being a first-time mother did make her a little nervous about the fact that she may do something wrong.
Although she might not outright accept it or say it, she still felt it was better for Vivian to be raised in the human world or in some place where he could come in contact with other people rather than growing up in seclusion in her cave.
So in a way, Tiamat was grateful to Venelana not that she would admit it.
Most of the time she would spend it in slumber and she was bored and was lazy all the time.
But now she felt a faint sense of excitement about the coming days....
...
Venelana who was sunbathing suddenly turned to Grayfia and asked in a leisurely tone " Did you send the details Fia "
" Yes Onee-sama, Lord Lucifer said he would look into it " Grayfia also replied in a relaxed tone. Right now she wasn't in work mode so if she tried to keep her professionalism Venelana would most likely spank her.
And she still had a vivid memory of the last time her big sis punished her, it was embarrassing and she didn't want a repeat of that situation.
" Is that so ~It seems I need to call him in person to convince him, Hah! children these days don't listen to their mother when they grow up " Venlana said while narrowing her eyes as she snorted in annoyance.
If only Sirzechs was half as cute as her Vivian.
It seems he is a little apprehensive about Kuroka's matter and he wanted to gift the younger Nekoshou to his little sister so her telling him to remove Kuroka's criminal classification was effectively throwing a wrench in his plans.
Did she care? No. To her, Vivian was far more important than Rias. So anything related to Vivian will always be given more precedence in her mind. Kuroka was related to Vivian thus her being a fugitive left a bad taste in her mind.
What Sirzechs was doing already didn't sit well with her but she didn't take action because it might cause a huge shitstorm and it was not worth it for her to take part in it.
But now? She had a valid reason to interfere and had enough cards to play against the old man so that he wouldn't jump around like a clown. In her eyes Zekram Bael would always be a clown, he thinks he is the ruler of the underworld and he and his batch of clowns think too highly of themselves if they think the Underworld is theirs.
The devils truly only pledged alliance to 'The Devil', not a devil. So the name Lucifer is enough to claim the underworld as your back garden.
His surname Bael nearly didn't have enough weight to claim the loyalty of the devils. It was laughable for her that the old coot thought so highly of his Bael blood like it was more precious than the blood of the ancestor.
So Venelan knew the old man would compromise, he had to otherwise she didn't mind sending the shit he did to all the higher-ranking devil houses.
Although it would cause a political shit storm Venelana didn't care, she had wanted to take a shot at the old bastard for a long time and if he really decided to be stubborn then she could only do what she decided.
First, she needed to convince Sirzechs and clearly say to him that she wasn't negotiating with him but she was just stating the facts. She would publish the evidence she had if he didn't revoke Kuroka's criminal status.
Kuroka was no longer just a pitiful random person, she was someone who could be considered family to Vivian.
