Chapter 9

"Alright, everyone, time to get in your seats. The cutoff for the advance class is in 10 seconds." In a giant classroom that had 10000 rows of seats in a circle pattern the person who seemed to be the teacher was about to start the opening lecture when a door open up and someone dropped out screaming.

"Cutting it close and now disrupting the start of class if you keep this up I will kick you to the normal class." The teacher said in a stern tone, alas to no avail. 'Tsk. Fine be that way'. Pulling up a clipboard the teacher seem to do something but nothing happened. Before the teacher tried to do it again he heard the screaming turn to heavy breathing.

The teacher seeing the student still on the ground felt his authority was somehow being challenged. 'If I don't punish this brat some of the others will under mind me. Seeing there is millions of them and only one of me it be annoying.'

"Since it is already time for class and you are not in a seat I guess you are a glutton for punishment. Well I guess you are going to assist me showing your classmates who might not of seen any Laws in the trial."

With a wave of his hand the teacher summoned a 3-headed dog with cracks made of lava coursing through its body.

"The Path I am using is Summoner. The Law is Cerberus. I will limit it to F-1 rank, even though that is still overkill. Oh, for your server only it seems the power system will be different. Even as your teacher I was not provided the reason why."

As the teacher was talking the Cerberus rushed forward causing the student who was not in a seat to be launched off to the ceiling and fall back down.

"As this was a F rank LAW and you students aren't even real G ranks the normal outcome would of been being turned to a blood mist. But in my Classroom only the damage is dealt while the body stays whole."

Seeing the twitching student on the floor and the look of horror on the rest of the students the teacher felt pleased. Snapping his finger, stacks of paper appeared in front of all of the seated students.

"Okay, now for the real lessons I was told to teach. If anyone here was recruited by a group or a person please fill out the sheet in front of you with the info they provided for you. If you do not remember check your email on your phones.If you fail to fill it out you will be unable to join that group."

Looking over at the student on the ground the teacher shook his head. 'Seeing how he showed up last second there is no way he was someone recruited, and if he was, it isn't my fault he didn't get a seat. If he wasn't trying to cause a scene in my class I would of gave him the time to grab a seat. The student is lucky my clipboard is messing up and not letting me kick him out of the class.'

"Okay, since you all were either the luckiest or talented, you showed up by the deadline for this class. You all shall get a better start. On the next sheet of paper list your 10 core PATH's. The system you all got should have 5 needed and 5 blank. For the 5 blank ones, press on the word 'search' on your paper and it will list all possible paths and then search to see if what you want has a corresponding PATH. If you do not choose it will be randomized. No one below this class gets to pick the blank 5."

'That should be enough time.' The teacher waved his hand and the papers turned to flame and dropped 10 coins in front of the students. While no one was looking, the student on the ground seemed to also get coins in their pocket, but it looked more like 5 then 10 coins.

"In your dormitories you will find something that has a coin slot. Simply put in a coin and you will open a path to a realm. Depending on the grade of your system, you should have the resources already planned out for you. G rank system users must either search for the laws themselves or group up with a person that has a higher ranking system to advance faster. "

"The rest of the info I was suppose to teach is optional. I would teach you all of it, but since that brat caused my mood to sour, instead I will stop it here. Oh and if that makes you mad, I'll just accidentally project his info. By the way, there isn't a limit to your Enemy list just your Friend list."

After he was done talking, a pop up screen appeared in front of everyone.

As soon as Lich opened up his eyes he was in a wide octagon shaped room. In the center was a table with a grid divided in octagons.

"For some reason I feel different but why? Hmm. Oh I have my glasses, so I can see better. Wait but I feel like it is something else." After walking around for a bit Lich knew why he felt different.

"It's back! I can pee standing again! It has been so long I forgot about what that crazy b*tch who assigned me to the necromancer room. Saying she couldn't trust me unless I was made in to a eunuch. Then she went crazy and just hacked everything off."

Walking up the table a pop up suddenly appeared in front of Lich.

Reaching into his pocket and pulling out a single coin, he read it out loud.

"Puppet:item, so North? Luckily, this table is like a compass, with the edges labeled with directions."

Walking to the north wall Lich saw it had a slide door that was hard to see. If it didn't have a motion sensor it would of took a lot to find it. After walking in, Lich was stunned. There was 100 stalls spread evenly out in what felt like a warehouse. The shape and size being the same as the previous room. After spending time searching around he finally found the puppet stall.

The stall was an enclosed fortune teller puppet. Finding the coin slot Lich thought to himself, 'I wonder if it is going to tell me my fortune or something. However as soon as the coin was in, tendrils shot out breaking the glass and pulling Lich in, before he knew what was going on.

In a dark room filled with dust, laid a corpse and a man looking down at it without moving. Suddenly the corpse started to twitch. Seeing this the man smiled.

"Welcome to the Puppet Realm, Little Lich. My name is Puppetlich, I was left here by the past master to help you in your travels to these lower realms. Your enlistment to the academy is finished. Tomorrow you shall go there. For today, since this is the first realm you have been to , I shall teach you some basics you need to know. Say 'System'."

"System." Suddenly a screen appeared in front of Lich.

[Please Select Font Color And Screen Color] "Orange and Gray."

Then the screen showed a 3d hologram of Lich. "So this is the Armor tab. I can use this to equip Laws that are armor onto myself, if I have the open equipment space. It seems at G I can only have 1 equip. That seems bad."

Mentally focusing, Lich switched it to the next tab which was a blank list."So this is the Item tab. All consumables are placed here, oh and my currency is listed here. 0 Bones?? Whatever, I will deal with that later."

Moving onto the next tab, it was similar to the armor tab with a hologram of him. "Weapon tab huh? It shows me holding a humanoid puppet but it says it is blank. Is it cause I do not have a puppet or that the weapon goes onto the puppet?"

Lich started to skim over the other tabs. "Map is a map, Stat is divided into 10 and all of them have a value of 1. Path&Law tab is just telling me I started the Puppet Path. Skill tab is where the magic or skills I have go, and I can only equip one here as well. Mission tab has the main with side missions. Then the last tab I can get into is the Profession/Race Tab. Which is Puppet Master. "
