SAME RATE

The number of those who are going to arrive is 5, but the exact number is actually 7. Jevro is now sitting inside the car on his way to the Monsters Department. After receiving the information of those visitors, he couldn't help himself but murmurs. America sent the total of seven participants, although they are the one who needs people to help them. Or maybe, it only sent those who are going to test the Malemyns who are going to participate for the raid. Yes, perhaps. But why do they need to test the Malemyns of other countries?

If only he can find that Gwandy who helped him. Jevro only clue is the voice of that person and nothing more. The chest that his monitor has captured is no use at all. The reason why is he looking for him is that, everytime the Gwandy helped him, the Redo didn't go away as it used to be. They only soothed it and not stopped it. However, that man completely stopped his Redo and he really feels comfortable after waking up. That information is according to the Monsters department records.

"Jevro, Allyssa messaged me. She said, she's already in the department and just waiting for you to arrive." Allen snapped out his thoughts.

Allyssa is his childhood friend. A white Gwandy. Although she's helping him, Allyssa is not his perfect match even though she's a white level Gwandy. That's why, she still can't help him perfectly like that man did.

"Tell her to find another white Gwandy to help her. But make sure that she did it in secret. I'm afraid, Rowan will stop her for looking for another Gwandy. We all know that Rowan hates me for I don't know the reason." Jevro answered while looking outside the car window.

Rowan was the country's best before Jevro showed up. He's indeed powerful but his arrogance is on its level too. And when the country acknowledged Jevro's power, Rowan started hating him. He even tried to kill him during monsters fight, and also stopped those Gwandy to get near him. It's quite childish honesty but since the country needs Rowan too, Jevro turned a blind eye to its childish actions.

"You are so kind to ignore him like that. If I am in your shoes, I already uncovered his black tricks on the public. He's such a pain in the ass for Pete's sake." Allen clenched his fists in front of Jevro to show his anger towards Rowan.

Jevro let out a chuckle and just leaned his back to the backrest. Allyssa told him the same thing. Well it's fine for him as long as, Rowan don't touch his two friends. Because if he does, that will be the beginning of their face off.

"I'm still alive and kicking. And his tactics always failed. But of course, if he touches both of you and Allyssa, then I will not stop myself to kill him." Jevro said. "By the way, try to ask Allyssa about those foreigners. I need to know their details before I face them upon arrival." He also added.

"Got it." Allen replied.

After a few minutes, they arrived at the Monsters Department and Allyssa greeted them immediately. There are many reporters outside the building and also the staffs from inside the building who are trying to control the crowd. Jevro saw Mr. De Guzman talking to someone with blonde hair whom he knows, that is one of the visitors.

"You guys arrived late. Let's go to the room where the Gwandy is waiting for yah." Allyssa said. "Oh by the way! I forgot to tell you, there's another Malemyn who just having his evaluation today!" She also added.

Jevro brows automatically frown. "Another Malemyn?" He asked.

"Yeah, he just arrived 20 minutes ago and currently inside the power evaluation. And guess what, he's fucking handsome! Totally my type!" Alyssa's eyes brighten while saying that. Looks like she's really into that Malemyn she just mentioned.

"Totally your type, again?! How many Malemyn you just said that is your 'type'?" Allen sneered.

"You shut up! He's really handsome, I'm not lying!"

"And what level he is?" Jevro glance at Allyssa while walking.

"I heard, he's a Black Malemyn." Allyssa said. "I hope we perfectly matched!" She also added.

"Heh! Pray more.. As if Allen and I don't know why do you want to be perfectly matched with that new Malemyn. You're drooling even you're just telling us the news about him." Jevro smirked and even shook his head. Same with Allen who also shrugged his shoulders.

On the other hand, Allyssa gave them a missed kick while grunting. They went to the room Allyssa just mentioned. There, Jevro received his soothing from his friend and another male Gwandy. The comforting is simple. The two Gwandy put their palms on his chest for a few minutes while his absorbing their healing powers. After that, they both went to the place where the meeting room is.

It's like a stadium where a lot of people are waiting for the arrival of the seven foreigners to be introduced by their Department head. Jevro, Allen and Allyssa find their seats and just also waiting. Jevro was just wearing his wireless earphones when Allyssa elbowed him. He frowned as he glance at her.

"What?!" He asked.

"Rowan is looking at you as if he wants to kill you now. Are you sure you really don't want to fight him like the way he does to you?" Allyssa whispered.

"He's not worthy of my attention. Let him be. Don't worry, I will not going to help him if he face danger during the raid." He answered while smirking.

Allyssa also giggled and just crossed her arms. She then started talking with Allen while Jevro started listening to the recorded audio on his monitor.

"Sorry, but I've no choice. Let me heal you first before I kill that monster."

"Oh goodness sake, I'm sorry. Sleep well and open your eyes later."

The short audio that he keeps listening repeatedly. Honestly, he's confused with the first sentence that the owner of the voice said. Mentioning the words "I kill that monster" sounds confusing to him. The head department told him that he was the one who killed the monster, but he honestly couldn't remember anything like that. About the man who healed him, his only proof is the audio and the report that the head department told him.

Jevro feels something is missing and he needs to solve the puzzle. However, how and where should he begin? His thoughts being cut off when the door of the huge room suddenly open. The head of the department Mr. De Guzman entered, followed by seven new faces who looks like a foreigners. Jevro could tell immediately that those people are the ones that will bring them to the snakes nest that they will going to raid. But... the information said, there are only seven visitors who arrived. Then who is the person who also just entered?

The man is wearing black face mask, white long sleeves that is folded up to his elbow, and black pants. His hair is cleanly cut but his aura is cold. He looks unapproachable and quite fierce. It seems like the man noticed his stare because he turned his head and their eyes met. Jevro's fingers flinches when he saw the man's golden eyes.

"It sparked?" He whispered to himself. "Impossible, there's a lot of people wearing contact lenses. So it's impossible that his eyes is real." He also added.

He saw the head speak to the man and also look on his direction. When the man nodded his head, he once again look at him before he take his steps towards his direction.

"Oh my God! He's heading this way!!" Allyssa exclaimed with her low voice.

"You know him?" Jevro asked without withdrawing his eyes to the man.

"Yeah! I already mentioned him to both of you. He's the new Malemyn that just finished his evaluation. I wonder what his power is." Allyssa answered while rubbing her fingers.

Jevro didn't speak again. He just keeps watching the man until it stopped in front of him. Their eyes remains locked to each other and he honestly can't utter any words.

"May I take a seat next to you?"

Jevro gulped when he heard the voice. Why does it similar to the voice that still playing on his monitor connected to his earphones? No, actually the man's voice sounds more deep and hoarse. It's also sounds cold.

"Yes.. Take a seat." He answered.

The man nodded his head and just took the seat on his right side. Allyssa once again poked him so he irritably turned to her. His expression is asking the woman, why?

"Ask him his name. Please..." She said.

"Ask him yourself. Wanna change seat?" He answered out of irritation.

"Nope! He looks just like you. His aura seems cold and I kinda scared of him."

"Then shut the hell up." His voice sounds cold now too. It also deep but clear.

He tapped the button on his monitor and ignore Allyssa for a moment even she keeps poking him. He honestly feels uncomfortable but he has no choice but to endure it. Not until the head speak.

"Before we begin, I would like to introduce to all of you the new member of all the Malemyn, Mr. Yohan. He is the new Black Malemyn with triple powers. And with the same rate as Mr. Jevro Gusto. He's the one besides Jevro." Mr. De Guzman said.

If everyone is amazed, Jevro is secretly confused. How the hell the person with triple powers have the same rate as him? Something is not right.. He can tell.
