Day and a half

"Mmm!"

Mark grunted as he continued straining his body under the weight of fifty-two times earth's gravity. It turned out that the difficulty increased drastically between every two G's or so Mark thinks as he's only been able to handle the increase to two after four weeks of battling against fifty and another four just to make it to where he is now.

" Damn, this is hard. I knew Goku and Vegeta struggled getting higher, but I thought that was because they didn't have the kind of strong body I do. But it seems I was wrong. It's just because gravity is a bitch getting used to. But I am getting faster that much I know. And speed is weight, so the faster I can move the harder I can hit. So, at least this isn't for nothing."

Mark commented on his lack of foresight on how strong Gravity could be as it increased.

" Mark? How long are you going to be in there?"

Eve asked as she watched the man bench pressing two hundred pounds increased by the gravity which equaled out to ten thousand pounds. But the gravity weighing down makes even something as easy as that hard for mark.

" I've only been in here an hour."

Mark said to the woman.

" Yeah, but you spend every day in there. Let's go out and do something."

Eve said to the man.

" Eve..."

Mark spoke to the woman as he looked up at her, he saw the sad expression on her face and placed the bar back on the bench.

" Alright, give me one second to get cleaned up and I'll be out."

Mark said to the girl as he got off the bench.

' Right about now Levy Angstrom should be messing with the maulers. Can't see any reason to get involved in that. After all, Levy wasn't a bad guy and if Mark hadn't busted in when he did, he and Levy would never have been enemies. Who knows maybe now the guy will be an asset to the earth instead of a reckless threat.'

Mark thought to himself as he wiped the sweat from his body.

" Alright, you ready?"

Mark asked as he walked out of the chamber.

" Oh my god, yes! Let's go!"

Eve said to the man as she pulled him towards the exit of the base.

" Okay, okay! I'm coming."

Mark laughed as the woman pulled him excitedly.

The two quickly left the Guardians temporary Headquarters and flew back to Mark's house so the boy could grab a change of clothes.

" So, what do you want to do today?"

Mark asked the girl as he stepped out of his rooms window and floated next to her.

" Let's go see a movie."

Eve said to the man.

" Alright, let's go."

Mark said to the woman as he pulled her into his arms. He then her straight to the movie theater in town where they watched the newly released Hulk movie starring eric bana.

" See, Mark? Wasn't that fun?"

Eve asked the mana s they walked out of the theater together

" Yeah, it was. I wouldn't say it was the best movie but I'll admit the way they shot the movie like comic book was genius."

Mark explained to the woman what he liked the most out of the movie

" I knew you'd like that. But what didn't you like?"

Eve asked the man.

" Well, I mean I like eric bana and I don't think he did a bad job. But he wasn't the greatest. At times it was how do I say it. Uhm. Kind of like he was just reading words off the scrip. You know? No emotion what's so ever. Then there was the general. He was making decisions that were stupid. I mean why would he tie Bruce and his dad up in the same room? He sees that Bruce Hulks out when under stress, so why put him in a room with a man that literally ruined his life? I mean that wasn't smart at all."

Mark explained to the woman as they walked down the street.

" Wow! I... Actually, agree with everything you said. But regardless it was still a fun movie. And we would have missed it if you had stayed couped up in that chamber of yours."

Eve chastised the man over his repeated use of the chamber.

" Okay, I get it. Less training time and more spending time with my lovely girlfriend. I'm sorry babe. But to be fair if I have to fight my dad again I don't want to lose."

Mark looked at the girl and smirk as he explained his reason behind all the training.

" But you're right. I need to enjoy the time we have together. Because if I'm training all the time, I won't be able to do this."

Mark said to the woman before leaning down and kissing her on the lips.

" I'd say that's a good way to end our little spur of the moment date."

Eve told the man with a smug grin on her face.

" I'll see you later, Mark and tell Debbie I said hello."

Eve said to the man before flying off

Mark looked up at the woman and watched as her figure disappeared into the skyline. He then followed after the woman and flew home himself.

As Mark landed outside his house he walked in to see Science dog waiting for him inside.

" Uh, Mark you have a visitor."

Debbie said to the boy as she looked up at the man sized dog.

Mark looked over at the dog and watched carefully as he got to his feet and walked up to him.

" Mark Grayson. We need to talk."

The dog said to Mark as he got him his face.

Mark glared up at the dog man ready to fight as he watched his new guest.

" Well, you gonna stand there staring at me all day or are you going to punch me?"

Mark asked the dog.

" You don't understand. I didn't come here to fight. I came here for your help. My people are in danger. and I've come to you. Now, will you come with me and help us Invincible?"

Science dog asked the man as they stood only feet apart.

Mark looked up at the dog in confusion as he roamed over his thoughts for memories on the character. Until finally he nodded his head and agreed to follow. After calling Eve and informing her of what was happening Mark and the Science dog boarded his ship and began their journey into space.
