As Mark and Eve lay in bed together Mark's beeper began going off rapidly.

" Mark? What's that noise?"

Eve asked sleepily.

" Mark leaned over and kissed the woman on top of her head making her smile.

" It's Cecil, there's trouble in space."

Mark explained to the girl.

Eve went to sit up but was stopped by Mark who gently pushed her back into the bed.

" Don't worry it's not my dad or any other Viltrumite. In fact, It's a friend. Don't worry I'll be back in bed with you before you wake up tomorrow."

Mark explained to the girl as he gently rubbed her head.

" You promise?"

Eve asked the man.

" I promise. No matter what happens to me I will always come back to you."

Mark said to the girl. He leaned down and kissed her gently on her head before getting out of bed. He walked over to his closet and placed on his replacement suit and then answered his communicator.

" Don't worry Cecil I was getting my suit on. I'm heading into space now."

Mark explained to the man.

" All right kid. but be careful. If it is your dad try and get the fight back down on earth. At least that way I can have the new guardians give you some backup."

Cecil explained to the kid.

" Got it."

Mark said to the man.

He looked back at Eve one last time and smiled at the woman in an attempt to quell her fears, once Eve smiled back Mark flew out the window and headed straight into space.

Mark stood ready and just as he was waiting Allen flew straight into him in a hurry.

' Invincible! Thank heavens I thought I was too late.'

Allen said to the man.

' Good to see you again, Allen. What's going on?'

Mark asked the man.

' When I returned to the coalition of planets and told them I had been going to earth instead of Urath they flipped out! Earth is off limits to the coalition. There's a viltrumite living amongst you.'

Allen explained to the man.

' Oh, yeah I know.'

Mark replied.

" What? You know? What do you mean you know?'

Allen asked in disbelief

Mark gestured for Allen to follow him to the moon ad he did. The two landed and mark grabbed two rocks. One for him to sit on and one for Allen to sit on.

' Have a seat. This may take a while.'

Mark told the man.

Allen sat down and listened closely as Mark explained to Allen everything that had happened since they last met.

' So, you're a viltrumite? But you don't work for them... And your dad left. He just left.'

Allen asked the man as sat there stunned by what he heard.

' Yeah. I've never been to viltrum. I don't really know much about them. But yea... As far as we can tell my dad is gone.'

Mark replied.

' That is highly unorthodox behavior for a viltrumite. Like super weird. They don't just leave their post. They destroyed my home world hundreds of years ago. My people are a nomadic species because we resisted when the viltrumites tried to take over.'

Allen explained to mark, going as far as to bring up his own back story.

' I'm sorry to hear that man.'

Mark replied.

' Don't be. You had no part in it. From the sounds of it... I'm the one that should be apologizing to you. If I had checked the records before I left here, I might have seen that earth was flagged for viltrumite take over. I could have warned you.'

Allen explained to the man.

' I would have just gone to my dad and asked him about it. Who knows how things would have played out had that actually happened?'

Mark explained back his own logic.

' Still... I feel like I should have done something. I cannot imagine what you're going through. Literally. Since our home was destroyed my people have been surviving through breeding camps. I never even met my father. The coalition of planets will want to hear about you. We are at odds with the viltrum empire. A great power struggle is brewing in the farthest reaches of space. The coalition is trying to unite enough worlds to have an army powerful enough to stop the viltrumite expansion throughout the galaxy. The viltrumites are so strong individually that they are virtually unstoppable. But no one has ever heard of a viltrumite abandoning his post or one that defies the empire all together. I must bring them this news at once. This could be the advantage they're looking for.'

Allen explained in depth to Mark things happening out in the galaxy.

' Let me know if I can help. I'm not looking forward to viltrum returning to this planet to claim it as part of the empire.'

Mark explained to the man as he offered his services to the coalition.

' Will do. I'll certainly let you know as soon as I hear something from the coalition. In the meantime... What about you? With your father gone and all that's happened... What are you going to do?'

Allen asked the man.

' Well, finish high school, I guess.'

Mark replied.

' Oh! That's good school is good... What is high school?'

Allen asked the man.

' Education program buddy.'

Mark answered the man.

' Oh, I see. Okay, that's good then. I guess if you have nothing else to share, I'm going to head back to the coalition. take care of yourself invincible. I hope we meet again.'

allen said to the man before flying off back towards the coalition of planets home world talescria.

Mark watched as the man vanished into space and turned to head back towards earth.
