In response to Eddie's all-out attack, Purple Gold Marquis struck back, sending Eddie flying. The mysterious woman appeared, striking Purple Gold Marquis's ears with frost and lightning.

Despite being severely injured, Purple Gold Marquis remained standing, furiously swinging his trident and sending the woman flying with a powerful blow. Enraged, he vowed to kill them both.

Losing control of his spatial abilities in his frenzied state, Purple Gold Marquis could no longer teleport. Eddie, seizing the opportunity, relentlessly attacked the marquis with his Ashen Magic Blade. In return, Purple Gold Marquis's fearsome punches battered Eddie, but Eddie continued his relentless assault, determined to endure until the end.

In this grueling battle, strength mattered less than willpower and resilience. Whoever could last the longest would emerge victorious. Amidst the clashing of blade and fist, blood splattered everywhere, making it impossible to distinguish whose blood it was.

The mysterious woman, though exhausted and injured, gathered her strength to assist Eddie. The severely wounded Blood Scythe Demon also regained some of its strength and viciously attacked her. In a desperate move to save her, Eddie left his duel with Purple Gold Marquis and rushed to her aid.

As the Blood Scythe Demon raised its weapon for a deadly blow, the woman opened a page of her ancient book, summoning a ghostly figure that unleashed a burst of frost, temporarily immobilizing the demon. However, the demon's demonic fire quickly reignited, and it resumed its relentless assault.

Eddie arrived just in time, embracing the woman and deflecting the attack with his blade. Despite his effort, the Blood Scythe Demon's strike left a deep wound on Eddie's shoulder and back.

Both Eddie and the mysterious woman collapsed to the ground, their blood mingling into an unusual shade of red. Exhausted and injured, they struggled to catch their breath after the relentless battles.

Meanwhile, Purple Gold Marquis, also severely weakened, focused on recovering and retrieved his Demon King's Trident, preparing for a final strike against Eddie and the woman.

The Blood Scythe Demon, attempting to stand, stumbled and slid down a slope, barely stopping itself with its scythe. Struggling to rise but failing, it lay defeated and helpless.

Purple Gold Marquis, regaining some strength, planned his next move to end the battle with one decisive blow against his exhausted adversaries.

In a dire situation, the mysterious woman informed Eddie that without a plant-based beast, they couldn't defeat their foe. She offered to use her 'Breeze' ability one last time to help Eddie escape. Despite her critical condition and bleeding mouth, she still managed to smile and tease Eddie about his charm with women.

Purple Gold Marquis, partially recovered, leaped from the sky, trident in hand, aiming to impale both Eddie and the woman. Eddie, cursing the interruption of his romantic moment, rolled away with the woman to avoid the attack. Unexpectedly, the Blood Scythe Demon threw its weapon, injuring Eddie's shoulder and penetrating his chest. The woman, barely hanging on to life, joked about repaying Eddie.

Purple Gold Marquis, laughing menacingly, prepared to finish them off with his trident. Eddie, despite being severely wounded, managed to dodge the attack, but both he and the woman were injured further by the trident.

The woman, losing consciousness, asked Eddie if he was truly willing to die with her.

Eddie, shocked and worried, checked her breathing and heartbeat, relieved to find she was still alive. He gently let her go and, covered in blood, stood up to face Purple Gold Marquis.

Eddie declared his resilience, citing his life-sharing beast as the reason he's still alive.

Suddenly, Little Wenli, pale and trembling, appeared and attacked Purple Gold Marquis. Her ability to bind and her icy double blades inflicted severe damage on the Marquis. Eddie then descended like a blood-soaked dragon, delivering a powerful spiral sword energy attack, causing the Marquis' chest to explode and his head to shatter.

Eddie mocked Purple Gold Marquis, claiming victory. Little Wenli, cautious of the Marquis' body, seemed worried he might not be completely dead, leaving Eddie in shock at the possibility of such tenacity.

In a dramatic turn of events, the Purple Gold Marquis, seemingly defeated, transformed into a demonic prince engulfed in hellish black flames.

Despite the transformation, the wounds inflicted by Eddie's sword qi remained unhealed, highlighting the potency of his attack.

Eddie, seeing no other choice, summoned the Thorn Flower, a magical plant with various forms and stages, including a Thorn Flower Witch. This level one beast, to everyone's surprise, caused even the formidable Blood Scythe Demon to tremble in fear.

The transformed Marquis, now in his demonic form, planned to take the mysterious woman as a hostage. However, his plan was foiled as Storm Mermaid and Petrifying Medusa, summoned by Xiao Wenli, protected her. Eddie's attempt to use the Thorn Flower Witch against the Marquis was interrupted by his attacks.

In a moment of desperation, Eddie hatched a plan.

He and the mysterious woman, both severely wounded, were on the brink of defeat. As the Marquis prepared to deliver the final blow, Eddie's decisive action and the sudden intervention of Xiao Wenli turned the tide. 

Wenli's powerful Diamond Book and its summoned beasts, combined with Eddie's attacks, finally subdued the Marquis.

Eddie, despite his grave injuries, stood up to confront the demonic prince. The showdown was intense, with Eddie using his remaining strength to fight back fiercely. 

The Thorn Flower Demon Girl, in her innocence and confusion, looked towards the Blood Scythe Demon and Purple Gold Marquis as directed by Eddie.

Upon seeing them, she drooled like a child excited by candy, sucking on her little finger with glee.

Her reaction starkly contrasted with her formidable appearance, highlighting her childlike nature despite being a powerful being.
