Chapter 99. The world will

The sky had returned to its normal couldy state.

Tirus appeared above the Auros empire, his body, however, didn't release even a hint of radiation.

"Hm, let me see..." He spread out his soul force, and within a second, he was on the top of a mountain with a woman in red standing infront of him. He had created this mountain just now for the two of them to meet.

"Beth..." Tirus murmured and soon, was embraced by her. She knew that Tirus had used the power of laws just now to teleport her here.

"Its been centuries since I last saw you, master...I missed you." She said, holding him tighter.

Tirus ruffled her red hair and said, "Hm, now, now, you've broken through to rank 6, and your law comprehension...feels like the law of fire."

"Mhm." Beth didn't say anything and simply nodded slightly.

"Just you wait for a second, there is something crucial that I have to do."

Saying this, he disappeared.

...

Deep inside the dark world,

A massive ball of light was glowing brightly, yet was still surrounded by darkness.

In the darkness, there was no one but a single human. This human was Tirus without a doubt.

"Hello, you must be the mother core of this world." Tirus said with a smile on his face.

The ball of light didn't have a mouth, and so, it transmitted its thoughts, 'Yes, I am, dignitary.'

'You are the first being since that accursed war to have reached the realm of laws in this world.' The 'war' that this world will was talking about was clearly the ancient magus war.

Without waiting for Tirus to even react, the world will continued, 'Since you're the only being of law in this world, your will makes the most part of my existence...what I want is your protection. Dignitary, protect this world from outside invasions in the future and you'd be free to do whatever you want in this world, unless it is harmful to me.'

"Hm..." Tirus thought. A world's will was the collective consciousness of all the living beings of that particular world. The stronger a being was, the higher part of the world will they had authority over and the stronger the world will would get in return.

So, every world will wanted to have as many beings of laws as possible as they could even provide a kind of protection to the world will itself.

"What do I get in return?" Tirus inquired.

'First, you are free to travel to any part lf the dar world.

Second, every 100 years, you can come here to absorb world origin force and comprehend part of any law you want.

Third, you can do whatever you want, unless it involves harming me in any sense.'

"Sounds reasonable...I agree!"

Tirus said as his soul force engraved itself on the contract, and soon, the contract disappeared into nothingness.

'Now, for signing the contract.' The world will poured world orgin force onto Tirus.

"Ah..."

'So this how it feels when you have access to the world origin directly through the world will." He internally exclaimed as he felt the presence of an almost infinite number of laws.

"Law of stealth, law of earth, law of ice..." One by one, he identified each of the laws, fully immersing himself in the experience.

"I choose the law of Equivalent Exchange!" Tirus yelled. And as his words reached the world will, it hurriedly complied.

[Beep! Host's is comprehending the law of equivalent exchange]

[Progress 1%...3%...5%....9%...10%]

[The supply of world origin force has been cut off]

"This much is enough." Tirus said, clenching his fists, feeling the newfound power, fused in every fiber of his being.

'Dignitary, you may return for this after a century.' The world will transmitted. Tirus simply nodded in reply and disappeared from the scene.

...

Tirus reappeared on the surface layer, still in mid-air.

"I call upon the power of the law of equivalent exchange, I exchange 80 points of my strength for vitality and agility."

The energy around him visibly contorted as he was wrapped in a cacoon made of the power of laws.

2 minutes later,

Tirus came out of cacoon, his appearance was flawless, completely flawless.

[Beep! Host's stats have changed]

[Tirus Van Elrod, Rank 7 Magus, Strength: 100, Agility : 150, Vitality: 270, Spiritual force: 490. State of soul: Realm of laws. Comprehension of laws: Death: 100%, Destruction: 49%, Darkness: 49%, Massacre: 49%, Equivalent Exchange: 10%]

'My agility and vitality increased by 20 each, while my spiritual force only increased by 40 points, huh.'

As a magus reached rank 7, they reached the realm of laws, and their soul force and spiritual force underwent a drastic increase in quality, so it naturally became easier for them to make faster progress when comprehending other laws.

"Finally, the realm I always dreamt of."

To be continued...
