Chapter 78. Revitalizing the bloodline

"Huh?" Beth had a confused expression on her face.

"You see, the reason I even affliated with that organization was because I wanted some connections in the surface world, but now my plans are different." Tirus said while twirling his hair, however, his vague answer only earned him her slight irritation.

"What excatly do you mean?"

"We will have our own world, that's what I'm saying." This statement of Tirus left her dumstruck.

"Eh?"

"Beth, the dark dawn guild has been conducting research on the astral plane with the aid of Jupiter's lightning for a while, correct? So you must know that there may exist almost infinite worlds which are full of resources and are easy to conquer.

We will find such a world and become the sole leaders there."

Beth didn't sayanything and thought. It was true that there are countless worlds which were full of resources and easy to conquer. This was also the reason of many rank 4 magi breaking through to rank 5. It was because they all conquered a world or a portion of a world.

"Then what will we do about the members of our dark dawn guild?" She asked, since being at rank 4 was the initial requirement for interplanar travel and only one or two members of the guild were at rank 3 at this moment.

"We may have to discard them before we leave. We don't have too many members anyways." Tirus said nonchalantly.

The dark dawn guild only had about a thousand members. Other than them, they only had fifty-some-elders in their guild, most of whom were at rank 2.

The dark dawn guild had always been quite stringent when it came to recruiting students, thus resulting in the low number of members, but this didn't mean that they were weak. Most of these members were hughly talented in one field or another.

After all, the dark dawn guild was the organization which had all of Twlight Zone under its control.

"No, master! it would be too much of a waste, besides, we also have millions of precious kobolds and elves inside our secret planes, do you know how much effort I had to put in to organize everything?" Beth retorted while pouting.

"Haha." Tirus let out a chuckle, of course, he wasn't so stupid as to waste all these resources. His previous starement was only to irritate her a bit.

After a few seconds, he replied in a gentle tone, "Beth, we will not conquer the world at once, it will naturally take a while, by then, maybe I can find a way for our slaves. Is that okay?" He finished his sentence.

"Mhm, better." She murmurmed. Seeing this girl act so cute, he couldn't help but feel fuzzy.

...

2 years later,

In the underground lab,

There was a huge blob of golden flesh which seemed to be alive, this was the bloodline of the Sun's child in its revitalization phase.

"Almost done." Tirus said.

"How much longer do we have to wait?" Beth who was beside him, asked.

"A few years." Tirus said. Although his plan was to make a warlock clone for himself, but he also wanted to let her breakthrough to the next rank first.

...

5 years later,

The interplanar facility of the dark dawn guild had become a forbidden area and only alchemical puppets were stationed there.

No one knew the reason, nor did anyone had the guts to inquire.

...

3 years later,

*Boom*

A huge explosion occured as a red star shot towards the sky, filling the entire Twilight Zone with its brilliance.

'Bloodline ignition was successfull!' Tirus mentally exclaimed.

The Sun's child bloodline had been revitalized by him a few months ago, and now, Beth had used a single drop of the bloodline to break through to rank 4. He had also found a way to help her in her breakthrough after rank 5.

Her bloodline was at rank 5, however, the bloodline shackles are never absolute, one simply needs a strong enough stimulant to push the bloodline towards its next evolution, the next limit.

Just like how Leylin had done in the canon, he had simply jumped entire rank 6 by consuming the law of gluttony. Even though the current stimulant, the rank 6 Sun's child bloodline, was potent, it definetly was not be as strong as a law. But still, according to the A.I. chip's estimate, Beth's chances of breaking through to rank 6 could be increased by 38% if she used the Sun's child bloodline.

"Congratulations." Tirus murmured as the A.I. chip scanned Beth.

[Name: Beth, Occupation: Rank 4 Warlock, Strength: 90.3, Agility: 83.4, Vitality: 124.5, Spiritual Force: 400.1, Soul force: 53 (Magic power is in sync with spiritual force)]

"Great."

'Just a few more years, and then I can break through to rank 5.' He thought.

When he broke through to rank 4, his cultivation shot up till the peak of rank 4 within a very short period of time, and so, after so many years, all he needed was a stimulant that could spur his advancement to rank 5.

And that stimulation would be the modified version of the ancient potion, Thamion's essence.

To be continued...

Im thinking of doing a re-write as im not satisfied with the first arc, so I may change a few things, dont worry, I'll inform you guys before I take any action.
