CHAPTER 6: No problem
***At the hospital***
In the hospital, the woman was still sleeping because of the injection she was given and Mr.Louis was seated in the chair next to her bed. Alaric and Sam walked straight to the hospital reception when they entered.
"Hello, Miss am looking for a patient." He said to the nurse at the front desk when he got there.
"Okay, sir, what is the name of the patient?" She asked politely.
"How do you expect me to know the name." Al retorted rudely.
"But how do you expect to know the person you are looking for?" Another nurse interrupted.
"Sorry, for his behavior dear ." Sam apologizes to the nurses.
"No problem sir. Who are you looking for?" She smiles
"We don't know the name, but she was involved in an accident last night," Sam explained.
"Oh, yeah. She's in room 108, on the 10th floor just follow the path." She gave them directions.
"Thank you very much for your time and patience ." Sam smiled and they made their way to the room.
"Good morning dad" he greeted the moment they entered.
"Morning son," Louis responded.
"How are you" Al enquired.
"I think am doing fine" Louis smiled.
"I really don't understand why you had to stay here all night, you could have left that for Nick," Al complained.
"Well, the boy was pretty tired after cleaning up your mess so I told him to go home and rest. I mean, I don't see why he should suffer for your mess while u are not even willing to do that yourself." Louis replied.
"That's literally what I pay him for." Al raised an eyebrow.
"Yh, you do pay him but for him to be your assistant at the workplace not when you are in the police station. I don't remember him being a lawyer." Louis said.
"Okay, no need to make such a fuss about it you can take care of her as long as you want I don't care." Al retorted.
"How is she" Sam enquired from Louis
"She's responding to the treatment. They said no serious damage occurred to her so they will run a few tests and discharge her when she wakes up." Louis explained.
"Then we can get rid of her. She should wake up faster." Al broke in.
"Well dear son I've decided to bring her to the house to stay with us after she's discharged," Louis announced.
"What.....!! That's impossible old man, she's going back to where she came from after she wakes up."Al retorted.
"Yes son, it's more than possible. She will stay with us as long as she wants. She will only leave when I say so." Louis spoke and it was evident to everyone in the room that he was not going to talk about it again.
"Fine, am out I really can't do this since you've made up your mind." Al snapped.
"Thanks, son I don't care if you understand but I've made up my mind "Louis smiled.
"Am off. I need to see Austin. I leave you with your property. " Al chuckled and left the room slamming the door behind him.
He stormed out of the hospital without hesitation. He started his car and drove off to the Grey's Mansion.
