CHAPTER 4: I can't babysit

Naah....we didn't fight I just had to be here because I knew you wouldn't go to sleep until I return so I needed to come home early. " He answered as he kissed her forehead.

"Okay, dear how about we go inside and have some rest," Scarlet suggested as she stood up and lead the way but to her surprise her husband carried her bridal style into their room.

          ***Back at the club***

While leaving the club, drunk Al kept on bumping into people. After so much effort he found himself beside his car. He got inside and started the engine and drove off. He drove recklessly since he was very drunk and dizzy. He saw his phone ringing and decide to take it, when he leaned to pick it his car veered off to the pedestrian's pathway, and before he could realize it he knocked down a pedestrian. He hurriedly got out of the car only to find out that the person was now unconscious. He rushed for his phone and made a few calls. He carried the woman to a safe place and waited impatiently for the ambulance and Nick. In less than five minutes the ambulance came with the police. They took the girl hurriedly to the hospital and Al to the police station to be questioned. Al sat down patiently and in a few minutes, Nick appeared with Mr. Louis Leblanc.

"Sorry, sir Mr. Leblanc wanted to come and I couldn't stop him." Nick began to explain when he saw Al's face.

"What happened this time?"Louis questioned his son. But Al didn't even bother to answer. Louis turned to the officer.

"Can u release him?" Louis asked the officer.

"Yes sir but he needs to sign that the girl will be fully recovered before he can be free. If he is cool with it then he can sign here and you guys can be on  your way." The officer explained.

"

"Mr.Leblanc I was not asking. You kinda don't have any other option if you want to get out of here as soon as possible you have to do as I say." The police chuckled.

"Am guessing when you go home you are going to announce to everyone how you had a close chat with me," Al said.

"Sorry officer but I can't babysit I have a company to run," Al added rudely.

"If you don't stop the nonsense I will have no other option but to offer you a room here. The only problem is that it's not as comfortable as the one in your house." The officer said pointing at the cells

"Don't worry officer he will sign the papers and abide by it." Louis intruded before his son got himself in real trouble.

"Now sign them." He commanded Al and he reluctantly took the pen and signed the paper.

"Thank you officer we will now be on our way" Louis smiled and lead the way

"Nick, drive me home. Am tired." Al ordered and Nick stared at Louis for confirmation.

"Okay sir," Nick said and hurriedly went to Al's side. He helped him into the car and drove off. Louis stood there as he watch the car. He knew his son will not look after the woman and that it was up to him to clean his mess as usual.

"Sir please where do drivers drive asked him when he got into the car.

"To the hospital. Am spending the night there." He informed him.
