Chapter 65: Renovating the Base!

Senju, before renovating the place, crafted spare tie rods and pressure plates. Together, they strategized on revamping the base, aiming to keep it operational.

He put the lever on them and opened them. The entire generator started to run, and the dim light in the room became brighter.

"Very useful. Your house is made from a converted container, right? I want to try making a mobile cabin. It seems doable." Senju left the container in place, saying, "Let Chito and Yuuri renovate it tomorrow, and for now, let's focus on installing the water source."

The installation of the water source is very simple. Senju first puts a few buckets of water in the reservoir here, and then the water will flow to various locations along the pipes.

Just when Senju thought it was almost done, Ishii reminded him, "There is still food. All the food here has been loaded on the plane. Now there is no food left in the base."

"Alright, let's store some here now and restock tomorrow," Senju agreed, following her to a storage room with shelves meant for food storage.

"Well, that's a relief. No need to worry about supplies for a while," Ishii remarked, examining the provisions and feeling content. "You can take a break now."

After the two returned to Ishii's hut, Ishii did not study the drawings as usual.

Instead, she looked at the drawings blankly for a while, then lay down on the bed.

Senju cleaned up the side and placed two wooden boards. After spreading the quilt, he lay on it.

"It's so boring," Ishii said. After lying down for a while, she didn't fall asleep. Instead, she felt like she had nothing to do.

Ishii chatted with Senju next to her, "Do you have anything to kill time?"

"Chii-chan, are we leaving today?"

"Okay, Chii-chan, how about this hut converted from a container?" Senju pointed to the hut next to where Chito and the others were resting.
