As the zombie like audience members walked towards her Kate came to a realization. Unlike most people Dreamers were assigned to rescue Nicole was awake and seemed happy in her reality.
From Kate's experience this made people even harder to save because they were in denial about their depression and would often want the monsters holding them back to stay.
She immediately thought of her one failed mission. The abused boy who clawed at her face to run back into his abusive mothers hands as Kate could only look on as she then snapped his neck.
Using her borderline superhuman speed she ran to the front of the room and lept onto the stage. She immediately opened fire on the crowd, perfectly shooting everyone in the crowd square between the eyes. As soon as her magazine was emptied panic set in on the crowd as they scattered.
