Dog Collar

Sat atop the ferris-wheel with no where to go Ari feigned hanging up the phone and set it down next to her allowing Wendy to listen in. Wanting to ensure Kate was none the wiser she attempted to signal for Wendy to stay silent and allow Kate to say or do whatever she intended to with a witness.

"Okay okay Kate. I know you heard that... so what now" Ari said hoping Wendy would realize what was happening. Luckily for her she had. Wendy muted her mic and ran to her car. Remaining silent on the other end she listened in to whatever Kate had to say she drove as fast as possible to the fair.

Kate let out a deep sigh and held her hand out towards Ari who tentatively took it as the pair locked eyes. "I've never told anyone this before but... my parents knew exactly what I was as a kid" Kate said as her typically cheerful animated face dropped and the usual confident look in her eyes turned into one of pain.
