Chapter 3: Professor Oak.

when the door was opened, Nero was greeted by a Mr. Mime. Nero was puzzled why does Mr.Mine open the door? was it not Professor Oak's House? While Nero was thinking a voice can be heard from behind Mr. Mime.

"Hey, Mr.Mime who rings the bell? Do we have a guest?"

Mr. Mime "Mr.Mime!"

then the voice went to the front door and ask the visitor.

"Ohh, Who you might be lad?"

Nero "Hi, I'm Sarutobi Nero. Nero is my given name while Sarutobi is my surname, I'm the grandson of Sarutobi Ray, grandpa asks me to deliver this letter to Professor Samuel Oak."

Prof. Oak "Ohhh! so you're his grandson hahaha. Well, let me formally introduce myself. I'm Professor Samuel Oak. It's been a long time since I saw Ray. so how's your granda? do you know where he is right now?"

Nero "I think granda is alright, I also haven't seen grandpa for a long time. he always travels a lot and he only writes some letters telling he's fine and about his journey."

Prof.Oak "hahaha well that's what he is sigh. when we both retired from being pokemon trainers we both decided to retire and live in a peaceful place. so after retiring, we built this town from scratch but who would have thought that after retiring, Ray will not stop going on his adventure hahaha. please come in and make yourself comfortable let Mr.Mime know if you want some drink."

Nero "Thank you very much, by the way here is the letter from Grandpa ray"

after handling the letter for Prof Oak. Nero sits on the sofa and asks Mr. Mime if he can have a glass of water. which Mr.Mime obliges his request. after a couple of minutes. Professor Oak was done reading the letter.

Professor Oak. "Well Nero lad, According to your Grandpa's letter, you have been also traveling the world hahaha. I can see that you've also acquired his hobby. Its also good that you accomplish your technical school.

Your Trainer Exam is also good. acquiring the top-score for all exams can give you the S-Rank trainer License when you start your trainer career and being the Grandson of Ray gave you the privilege to have a Diamond Perks. So do want to start your Pokémon Career now?"

Nero "I would like to postponed it for couple more years professor. First i would like to apply as your Assistant, the reason is I want to know more about Pokémon, their behavior, the foods that they like to eat and many more.

Then I also want to take the exam for licensure to become a Pokemon Professor and Researcher. I already have some of my research with me regarding creating new move sets and some technologies, apparatus that can help trainers and Pokémon's and so on. So with that i would like to postpone it for maybe 2 years?"

Professor Oak. "Well if you want to become my Assistant I would gladly accept it hahaha. Having an assistant can make my job more easier and I can also help you with your research if you want.

Then regarding learning more about Pokémon's it will be easier because at the ranch we have different kinds of Pokémon's here. Mostly consists of Pokémon of retired trainers or trainers that wanted their Pokémon to take care of.

For your licensure exam you don't need to worry about that you just need to present your research and your other works to become a professor as long as the league committee approved it.

Well if you want to postpone your training career it will be okay. The Kanto-Indigo league will not start for another 2 years and 8 months then for the Johto-Indigo League it is 3 years and 6 months then for the Indigo Plateau League its 4 years so you have pretty much time to prepare to start your own journey. "

Nero "Thank you, Is Grandpa Ray's house still here at Pallet Town?"

Professor Oak "Of course its still here. Even though Ray doesn't use the house i always make it sure that its still clean. And if he ever came back here he has a house to stay in hahaha. You can stay on it and besides now that you are here you can inherit it. Let me just get the key for the house and other Ray's property documents. Oh I forgot to ask How old are you now lad?"

Nero "17, forever 17"

Professor Oak "huh? what's with that forever 17? Well if you are already 17 you're already legal to inherit all the properties of Ray throughout the whole world hahaha. Sigh, Ray have many properties in different regions good luck handling it all hahaha. Also please visit the properties of your grandpa when you start your journey."

Nero "Hahaha thats a joke. Well I already know that grandpa have many properties throughout all the regions and I also need to visit it at some point."

Professor Oak "Hahaha well thats good. Btw. Do you have a Pokédex? Coz if don't i can give you one.

Nero "Well i don't have. But is it possible to not have one as of now? One of my research is how to improve your work on Pokédex."

Professor Oak. "Well thats okay. And if one of your research can help me improve my work i will be happy for it. Do you want my help for it?"

Nero "yes i would need your help. Its your original work you can pretty much help me improve it to."

Professor Oak "Okay. Then I will get the key now so you can now stay at Ray's house. I can see that you already have a Pokémon with you and an egg. Do you know what Pokémon Egg is that? And also You can release your Pokémon at the backyard of the house its pretty much big and a lot of your Pokémon in the future can roam free on it."

Nero "that i do not know what Pokémon it is. It was only given to me by Grandpa(lied) along with the letter(Lied)"

Professor Oak. "Well thats fine we can just wait until it hatch hahaha."

Then Professor Oak left the living room and proceed to his room to get the key to the house and other document properties of Ray.

After 10mins of waiting. Professor Came Back with a lot of documents inside a big box and a key for the house.

Professor Oak " Well Lad, Here is all the Documents,Properties and key to the house that your grandpa have. Hahaha good luck on managing all of it."

Nero "Well i think i can manage all of it. Well can i go to the house now? So i can finally organize all this documents?"

Professor Oak "Sure you can. But let me join you so that i can also tour you around the town and guide you to your new house"

And with that both Nero and Professor Oak left the house and started the tour.
