Bar and 208

Theo was expecting the waitress Ane, to approach, everything was going to start here. But that plan vanished when she went downstairs and a male waiter came with a sweet smile.

Theo was bitter.

"What can I get you?" The waiter asked.

"Whiskey. Just whiskey." He said, low-spirited.

The waiter turned at The Lich, but before he could ask, he just said no. He left, leaving the two of them.

The entire bar was loud and noisy, and only a few people noticed The Lich and guard sitting on the second floor.

"You're really into her huh?" Said The Lich.

"Yeah, she's... Beautiful." Replied Theo. He glanced around at the area, the waitress did not come back.

"Well, whatever. I'm just surprised you seem so friendly towards me."

"Oh. I've been working with other anomalies before... Just not into the whole making you guys an object thing."

"What SCP?" Hassu's curiosity was aroused.

"Oh, something along uhm.. 63..03 I think? It's been a year since I worked there."

'6303? Hm, I can't seem to remember. It's right there but who was it...'

His thoughts were cut off when the waiter returned. He put a glass filled with whiskey on the table then left. Sometimes the waiter would glance at the SCP and give strange looks.

Hassu noticed this but it didn't matter to him.

'I'd be freaked out too if there was a walking corpse in the bar. Can't blame him.' he thought.

Theo took off his helmet and pulled his mask down. He had a black hair and black eyes. He took the glass and immediately drank it all down.

"Ahh... Good old whiskey." He wiped his lips with the tissue.

"Was that SCP, an object?" The Lich asked a trick question. He wanted to confirm if it was what he thought it was.

"No. It was a human. He could control gravity and shit." He replied, pushing the empty glass to the side.

He remembered the times he escorted the kid back to its cell, or when he subdued him during the time he assaulted Dr. Jones. Another researcher whom he hasn't heard for a long time.

'So it is the kid. Does this mean I'm in a different timeline? I have to be very cautious.' he thought.

"Ah, that's unfortunate." He replied. There was no solemnity in The Lich's voice.

"You know. It would be great if she comes back around-"

Theo's voice was cut off by a guy shouting on the other side. He raised a bottle of whiskey that spilled in the air. And yelled about courage or bravery.

He noticed their uniforms were a lot different than the ones he'd seen here in the facility. And the logo on their shoulder, he hadn't seen it before so he didn't know what MTF they were.

The Lich knew what these MTF were, but he didn't know which unit. They are MTF Tau-9.

"Let's get out of here. I don't like too much noise." Said The Lich.

Theo nodded and both of them left the bar. Obviously The Lich had to crawl again when exiting. But no one noticed, everyone was too busy in their own world, a distraction from work.

As they walked all the way to the gym, The Lich and Theo stopped as a man wearing Egyptian robes passed by. He was large, but he wasn't taller than The Lich.

He stopped by and looked at them. His eyes widened in surprise upon seeing The Lich. His friends back at the medical wing would sometimes talk about The Lich, and how he looked dead and horrible.

"I didn't expect to see The Lich around these halls." Said the chubby Egyptian man.

"How did you know I'm The Lich?" Hassu asked.

"I hear a lot about you in our medical wing. I didn't think I'd actually see you." He smiled.

Theo was looking at The Egyptian man, somehow he was feeling relaxed, a feeling like he was someone he could be around with and trust. But he was wearing something old, and ancient.

He remembered the orientation back last month told by his superiors, an scp that could make you feel at ease and comfortable. But he couldn't exactly remember the designation number.

"Me? Popular? How is that even possible? I've only roamed here for at least two days."

"Well, I hear you did something back when confronting the chaos guys. I'm SCP 208, you are?" He extended his hand.

The Lich looked at it before shaking it.

"Scp 7000, The Lich." He returned the police greeting.

"Well, Lich. If you have time, come to the medical wing, I usually come there to help the doctors." The Egyptian man said.

"I don't think it's appropriate for me. I do come to the gym to watch the games. He replied.

"Sure. I'll come around tomorrow, for now I got myself a patient to treat."

The Egyptian man left as he waved goodbye. He didn't even talk to Theo.

"Wow, he seems like a nice guy." Said The Lich.

"He ignored me." Theo said grumpily.

"Eh well, you're gonna have to talk to him next time. He seems like he's in a rush though."
