Siegfried and Beelzebub

The small ball exploded into a white light that consumed everything, including every corner of darkness. The disappearing figure of Satan was also consumed by it, and the next moment, the entire world they were in turned white.

But it didn't last long. The darkness returned, and the white disappeared. Replacing the white, the world changed to Tartarus again, and this time there were thousands of demons.

"Meh, I wouldn't waste my time on them, but bring out something worthwhile," Regal casually commented, and the thousands of demons were gone.

It was an illusion again. Regal's soul ring appeared, and the third one glowed.

"Elemental Nova," he called out, and the nova burst straight to the ground.

BOOOOOMMMM!!!!!

The whole of Tartarus trembled again, and this time, the world seemed to be crumbling. The tall, bloody mountains fell, the ground turned to powder, and the sky collapsed.

"Yo, you are Siegfried, right?" Regal casually asked as he looked at the chain-bound figure that opened his eyes.

"Oh? Who are you... You don't look like one of those guards or any god I have seen," Siegfried asked, his tone lively and casual.

"Hmm, I am Regal, Regal Titanborn. Someone from the human side who came here to see the Hero of the Abyss, and possibly get you out of here to go on an adventure in a whole new world," Regal cheerfully said, making Siegfried have a good look at him.

Regal got up, grabbed the chains, and squeezed them, making the whole chain structure start to crack and then

shatter!

The whole structure shattered. Siegfried landed on his feet and stretched as he absorbed his surroundings. Regal smiled.

"Want to get someone else? He should be done by now. If not, then we will have to fight," Regal nonchalantly asked as he busted through the wall of the prison, going to another cell.

Siegfried raised a brow but followed nonetheless. In the other cell, Regal strangled a monster and casually tossed it to the wall with incredible force, turning the poor monster into a wall painting.

"So, where are we going?" Siegfried asked as he walked behind Regal, who casually walked through the wall, breaking it to make a way for them. "Can't we just use the security path? Is it necessary to walk through the wall?" he helplessly asked as Regal walked through another wall.

"I am collecting good demons and gods that would be useful for the person we are about to pick up," Regal nonchalantly answered as he walked through another wall, holding a god by the neck.

"I see..." Siegfried muttered as he looked at the walls. They were really thick, almost 5 meters, and they were the strongest walls in the whole of Tartarus. But Regal broke them like they were nothing.

"Hmm, these two would do," Regal muttered as he grabbed a demon that tried to resist but failed and was suppressed just like the god.

"I see now, so you are the one that killed Zeus!" Siegfried exclaimed as he looked at Regal deeply. "I was wondering who could possibly kill Zeus but never thought I would be able to meet you!" he excitedly exclaimed, making Regal look back with confusion.

"How do you know I killed Zeus?"

"Oh, that is because the guards were screaming about Zeus's death and how he died. I happened to overhear them," Siegfried explained, and Regal nodded understandingly.

"Yeah, I killed Zeus, and soon enough Odin when he gets stronger," Regal stated, and a portal appeared in front of him. He walked through it, and after a bit of hesitation, Siegfried followed as well.

They were still in Tartarus, just at the exit. "Hmm, he looks to be doing fine, so I guess we don't need to fight," Regal commented as he walked over to a beat-down and charred body that was Beelzebub.

Regal tossed the two in his hand in front of Beelzebub, who slightly raised his head to see what lay before him. "Use them for your experiments. One has a very high regeneration rate, and the other is related to your vibration ability. They will help you figure out more about the pendant," Regal stated, causing Beelzebub to glare into his eyes with a mix of hate and confusion.

"Why... why are you helping me?" Beelzebub growlingly questioned, making Regal amused.

"It's pretty simple. I want you to be a part of my familia. And in return, I am giving you an opportunity to bring back your friends," Regal answered while sitting down on the ground.

Beelzebub remained silent, not understanding what Regal meant. "Sigh... I am someone who gave up my power to experience what a fragile life is like. When I first started my life, I was restricted by my own emotional state, unable to comprehend emotions. But now I understand them pretty well, and so I decided to be full and free," Regal explained, tapping his armor, which turned into a ring.

"Meaning, if I want you to come with me to another world, I will drag you there. But in return, I will give you something. And the answer can't be 'No.' I am pretty laid-back, but not so much as to let just anyone go free from my eyes. Honestly, I would have preferred to have Hades or possibly Hercules, but they aren't an option anymore. But you are! So, I am taking you with me!" Regal concluded, making Beelzebub flabbergasted but with a little hope in his eyes.

Siegfried awkwardly stood behind as he listened to the conversation. "Am I... umm..." He tried to ask something but miserably failed. To him, Regal was strange, to say the least, and very powerful from what he was able to see and hear.

"Huh? If you want to join, you are free to, but be aware that Brinhilder is desperately trying to reach you. I only got you out so I can keep her out of her dreams ending," Regal remarked. A portal opened beside Siegfried, who cautiously looked through it. "On the other side, Brinhilder is plotting a scheme. Go say hi. Also, if you want to join, say it out loud. You will be able to join any time." 

Siegfried hesitated but stepped through, leaving Regal and Beelzebub.

"So... I have no choice, huh? Hahaha..." Beelzebub dryly laughed. "If... if I have to bring them back, I will keep living, I guess," he stated as he got up.

"Hmm? Do you trust me? You do remember I put you on death's door three times now, right?" Regal asked, making Beelzebub look at him perplexed. "I almost killed you in our first meeting, then I blasted the world white, and then my last attack..."

"And... I am still alive..." Beelzebub shrugged, making Regal chuckle.

"Get some rest first. There will be someone that will come to pick you up," Regal said before disappearing, leaving Beelzebub to look at the underworld with familiarity.

Regal appeared in his realm and took a seat. "I am dead tired..." he muttered as he lay down.

"Well, what did you expect? You were bombarded with illusions and nightmares every second," Azu, appearing out of nowhere, remarked. She sat down and adjusted Regal's posture so his head would be in her lap. "You held out for almost half an hour there... you should have collapsed in the first 10 minutes," she stated matter-of-factly, making Regal look into her eyes, which were a deeper shade of blue now.

"Where are Scathach and Ruphas?" Regal asked, comfortably hugging Azu and burying his face in her thighs.

Azu played with Regal's hair while smiling, "Ruphas returned to the little Garden, and Scathach... well, I will keep it a secret for now," She teasingly said.
