Into Skyrim, Elder Scrolls 8 Nirn's Beta

So to begin, this is technically a skyrim fanfic. Why isn't it in the fan-fics then? Simple! It's based on a game and I don't feel that counts as a fan-fic. Second, I've read like a few skyrim stories here lately. I liked them, as a bethesda fan boy... Well, now I need to take a crack at it. I literally start a new game of skyrim every new year. Its my tradition, so I felt I had to do this. If its bad, ah well. If its good, GREAT! Overall though, I feel we need more skyrim based stories or fan-fics. It has the perfect setting for the transmigration genre. Now read at your own risk.

Hard Working

I just finished yet another imperial sword. This is the 178th one I have made. Smithing was harder than I thought and a couple days had passed. Thankfully the work got easier once I dumped some skill points into it. I needed a lot of skill points currently. Since I planned on maxing smithing out rather than just getting to the ebony smithing perk.

So I had been selling things from the ship we didn't need. Which would increase my speechcraft. I started using the spell grant frost resistance every time I could. Finally I had regular session at the castle dour's training ground. I increased by hand to hand and two handed through this. I chose not to level up one handed and archery despite those were normally what I used.

It was better to fill the skill gaps while I had the time. Thanks to Division and Harmony though. leveling up was easier than I expected. I was now level 38. I suspected I was either one of the highest level players or the highest level player right now. As leveling up skill without any proficiency in them was hard as hell. I had placed one perk point in each skill tree for this reason.

I looked at my passive effects. I had gotten two from when I got my personal quest. As well as a new a power. The power was simple, it was Living Blizzard. I could summon a blizzard to crush my foes. The passive effects were brilliant though. Frozen death gave me some immunities. While the last. Atmoran Inheritance was by far what I was most happy about.

Beirand looked at me, "At this point I don't think I have much more I can even say. You went from a newbie smith to a master in a matter of days. I don't think I've seen you even take a break."

I rubbed my forehead, "It is just in my blood I guess."

He nodded, "Freed me up to do some personal errands so I don't mind."

I nodded, "I think i will have t use your forge one last time. I plan on making my own armor and equipment."

He shrugged, "Go ahead, you put me ahead of schedule."

Beirand was certainly shocked when first started smithing. After all I hadn't just made swords. I made full sets of armor too. Truth be told though it was solely because of the Atmoran inheritance. I looked at my passive effects again. Increases learning rate of Warrior skills by 50%, Increases learning rate of Magic skills by 25%, Increases learning rate of Thief skills by 10%. That was just the basic bonus it gave however. Just for having the effect the empowerment skill tree increased by 40 points. It was such an insane bonus it felt unreal. Yet it didn't end there.

Atmoran Inheritance gave me all knowledge on Atmoran culture, skills, I even now understood why I could learn the Thu'um from my Draconic book. Number one reason was I lacked my personal quest. The second was I lacked knowledge on an Atmoran skill called Song-dressing. A better name for this skill was Tonal magic.

Sadly I now knew I couldn't unlock the way of the voice until I acquire more knowledge on Tonal magics. This meant I needed to visit High Hrothgar or the College of Winterhold. Perhaps I could also ask a dwemer. That was impossible though.

I breathed in, I took out one last set of materials. Just had two more points left until I had smithing at level 100. I had the ebony smithing perk, but I also grabbed Arcane smithing, heavy and light armor forge masteries, I got weapon smithing mastery and I got Accessory smithing mastery. I could forge everything I needed. I just wanted to get to smithing 100, that way i could also put in the last perk point I needed in Smithing mastery and Smithing proficiency. Both of which required level 100 Smithing.

Once done I would make a literal godly set of armor. It wouldn't even have any enchantments on it. I also planned on forging the Hearth into an amulet. One made of pure Stalhrim. After all as it turns out, I only get the passive effect Frozen Death if I had the Hearth equipped. Holding it in my hand, counted. So I would forge it into a real artifact. That was the plan.

Once done I had business in the Blue Palace. I wanted to fix the Black Star, and I didn't want to travel to Winterhold. So instead I planned on asking a very powerful mage here in Solitude. Sybille Stentor a vampire working inside the Blue Palace.

She had mastery in conjuration, and the right disposition to mess with a daedric artifact. I would then use the Black Star to capture the Soul of Potema the wolf queen. So I need that done before I go to Wolf Skull Cave. I don't want anyone to even get a glimpse of the idea she resurrected. Not to mention I certainly didn't want to fight a horde of undead to get the the second meeting with the wolf queen.

After that I would head for the the King Olaf's Verse. Everything would come together after that.
