Chapter 58: Cooperation with Mr.Song

The next morning, before making their breakfast, Bai Yi Yang made two bottles of milk for the puppies. After taking care of them for two days now, they drink milk 6 times yesterday, 3 meals like when they were eating, then in between they also drink in smaller amounts.

"I will help with the installation. I also know a bit." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Alright. I will also help Mr.Song with our courtyard today." Bai Yi Yang said.

She is going to sell this once per month so it is important to properly store it in airtight plastic after drying. Zhang Yong immediately replied her telling he not to worry, he is going to bring some plastic and plastic bag sealing machine. He also put importance to this matter. After that, Bai Yi Yang lift the fully dry dog house to the corridor under the roof on the left side of the Main house. This is temporarily where they are going to place the dog house from now on. If it rains, the dog house won't be rained on directly, she also change the bed and transfer the puppies into their spacious home. Bai Yi Yang changed her clothes and joined Mr.Song who only remove a few pieces. His work at the flower shop is very light, at most just lifting flowers pot and simple gardening. When it comes to real work like remodelling a whole 25 m2 central courtyard, he feels that he will be exhausted to death. No matter, he finally had the chance to use his skills, why not do his best.

"Mr.Song, let me take over. You collect the bricks that I pulled out, how about that?" Bai Yi Yang said.

"Yatou, this job is not easy. You sure?" Mr.Song said.

Well, Mr.Song job is also not easy, he need to collect the brick and bring it outside the house so it won't disturb their work. Bai Yi Yang still stop in the middle when the workers installing the flooring came, she told Mr.Song to take it easy.

"This is the East house, that is the Main House and the West house. Let me show you around." Bai Yi Yang bring the worker to look at the area that need to be covered.

"Do you need me to remove the cupboards for you?" Bai Yi Yang ask when they enter the boys bedroom.

"No need, we can do it. There are three of us, we can manage it." The leader said. How can they grown up men ask a girl to lift things for them.

"Alright." Bai Yi Yang smile. When they came to the West house laundry room, Bai Yi Yang also ask the same things about the machines and big box of fridge.

"No, no, no. We can manage it." The men once again reject.

"Lang dage." Bai Yi Chen came and call towards the leader.

"Yi Chen, I was wondering where you were." The leader called out.

"I was at the back. Yang Yang, don't worry, I will manage this. You go do your work." Bi Yi Chen said.

"Alright." Seeing that Bai Yi Chen is close with the people from the factory, she did have to worry anymore. Bai Yi Chen know what she wants.

So she returns to do her work, Mr.Song finally able to catch up, there are only a few pulled out bricks that he hadn't pick. Bai Yi Yang then resume pulling out the bricks then joined Mr.Song picking them up.

"Mr.Song, I will bring in the cement and sand okay." She called out from outside the gate. Mr. Song who haven't catch his breath answer. He really cannot underestimate the girl, her energy is no joke, he is hardly her opponent. He doesn't know how she do all that with her small body.

"Miss Bai, why you carry a lot at one time?" He almost cried when he saw her her carried sacks of cement on her shoulder. It was like carrying nothing to her.

"Mr. Song, you don't worry, just install the mould. I can handle this." Bai Yi Yang said as she put down the sacks and went out go carry the others.

Mr.Song knows that he is weak. So he just proceeded with installing the wooden mould for the first area. They already planned to divide the pathway into 5 parts, north, south, west, east and centre.

This is actually a last minute idea but with the intact bricks, they are going to make a circular fire pit in the centre. As for the rest, it was all the same.

After finished installing the wooden mould, Bai Yi Yang roughly level the ground since they are going to pour the concrete into the mould later. Mr.Song is a very meticulous person, when he was making the sand to cement ratio, Bai Yi Yang didn't disturb her, she only went to fetch some water for the mixture.

After that, she went outside to bring in the flat natural stone, they are cut evenly in same thickness, they must be cut in factories for decorative use. Then she also bring in the pebbles that they pick from the river yesterday.

"The pebbles is good." Mr.Song comment.

Bai Yi Yang help Mr.Song mix the cement after he is done with the ratio. Mr.Song feels more relaxed now since he had a reliable assistant, Bai Yi Yang is a clever and a strong assistant, if she wasn't here, he wouldn't have progress with the work this much.

Mr.Song check the consistency of the mixture before pouring them onto the mould, he smoothen the surface, and after he is satisfied, he start arranging the flat big stone carefully. Bai Yi Yang have to say, Mr.Song is very meticulous, he will not tolerate slight imbalance, he has his own level tool to make sure that everything is on equal height. Bai Yi Yang only watch him and when he finished with one area, Bai Yi Yang offer to filling the spaces between the large rock with small pebbles.

Mr.Song show her an example, and emphasis that they must be the same height as the big rocks.

Bai Yi Yang nod, at first, she will show Mr.Song using the level but when Mr.Song fully trust her. She can tell by just one look and Mr.Song stops bothering her. Now, he just think that she is just naturally talented.

After finishing one area, Mr.Song didn't put his guard down, once more, he check the height and balance before moving towards the centre area.

Other than the small pebbles that Bai Yi Yang add between the gap, they also put small white stone that is the same size as a corn kernel to fill in the gap. Now. The looks is upgraded, Bai Yi Yang openly praised Mr.Song good vision. If they didn't fill it in, the concrete colour will be clear from outside and it won't blend well with light colour of the natural stones. Now, it looks much more better than before.
