Chapter 48: Studying and doing homework together

Bai Yi Yang didn't know how the system counted the points but she she is still happy about it. When she enters the kitchen, she saw Bai Yi Chen was about to nag again because she works to long. He have been telling her to take her time but she wouldn't listen.

"Ge..my arm is sore.." She lays her body onto the dinner table to show that she is really tired. Bai Yi Chen sigh and ends up not saying anything.

"You went to the farm?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Yes. Went to remove the canvas then plow the field a bit. Tomorrow we can start transplanting the seedlings, they has grown big enough." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Really? They have grown that big?" Bai Yi Yang said. When did they sow the seeds again? Last week? The farming aura that emit is really not bad, she actually visited the seedlings patch a few times, just to water them or simply pull out sprouting weeds.

'So amazing.' She said to the system.

'The ability that has been upgraded shouldn't be underestimated ah.' The system said. Bai Yi Yang nod in agreement, even her weather forecast ability is really hard to explained, so amazing.

"Then we will transplant the seedlings tomorrow, then let's sow another batch and plow the field." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Alright. Will you not work at the workshop for a while?" Bai Yi Chen ask.

"En, need to wait for the doors to dry, then I can proceed with them. Next week should be okay." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Good, I will help with the sanding." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Sure." Bai Yi Yang agree. Sanding is not dangerous, Bai Yi Chen can do it. She shouldn't let the boy feel too much difference between the two if them, he may feel dispirited.

Bai Yi Yang feels like eating Korean ramyeon tonight, so she took 5 packs of instant noodles and start cooking it with eggs. The smell is something that the Bai siblings is not familiar with, the visual is amazing but they were reluctant to eat at first.

"Why? It's delicious, and it is not spicy." Bai Yi Yang told her siblings when she brought the claypot filled with instant noodle. She also ask Bai Yi Chen to make smashed cucumber earlier.

Bai Yi Yang ladle the noodle and soup into her bowl first then show it to them, it smells so good even though it is unfamiliar. When they tasted it, they immediately like the taste, it taste better than tomato and egg noodle. Bai Yi Yang also like the taste, however she wouldn't cook this often, no matter what, it is an instant food, she cannot feed her siblings with instant food frequently. That is why she wanted to finish renovating the kitchen as soon as possible, so they can store meat in their fridge.

Bai Yi Yang was chatting around with her siblings when she got a message, it was from Zhang Yong, saying that he will come tomorrow to start working with the kitchen counter. So early, but she has no problem with it either. Seems like they can only use the brazier to cook for the next two days.

Bai Yi Yang then remember that she haven't bought any kitchen cooking tools. Those big pots will probably be stored in the garage, they won't have to use extra big pots like that again just for the 5 siblings to eat.

Bai Yi Yang open a shopping apps that sells trusted kitchen tools brand, she choose a stainless steel pots and pans, steamer with a total of 12-piece cookware set, the price is quite expensive at 1,232 yuan, these kitchenware are used in real kitchen but that is also the reason why she bought these, it's for the durability and the quality. She also choose a bakeware set at 192 yuan. Measuring cups and spoon combo at 75 yuan, cast iron grill pan at 131 yuan, bread knives at 32 yuan, a regular chef knife at 188 yuan, choose a bunch of food storage containers and organiser worth 397 yuan. She will need this a lot when they start using their fridge. Then she went to choose other things such as parchment paper, aluminium foil, trash bags and so on that came to a total of 97 yuan. Her total purchase come out as 2,344 yuan, quite okay bah. As for other things, they don't need many knives and boards, these house has enough knives, she can make the knife board and cutting boards herself.

"Go bath, you have sit here for more than an hour.." Bai Yi Chen came out of the bathroom and said to Bai Yi Yang who is still sitting in the kitchen with her phone. It is almost 9 pm and she is still playing with her phone.

"Okay. I was choosing some kitchen necessities." Bai Yi Yang stood up and return to the Main house.

She took her bath then take her time changing and drying her hair in the bedroom. When she come out, Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Ling is already busy doing their homework and the two little one is eating/playing their snacks. It was some colourful candies that they put inside a plate, they are sorting out the colours and counting how many there are for each colour.

"Xiao Mo, it's not two and three, it is twenty three. You are teaching your sister wrong." Bai Yi Yang said. Xiao Mo recognise the number correct but not the way he is saying it.

"Then what is 1 and 3? How about 3 and 3?" Bai Yi Mo ask.

He can recognise number 0-10, but the number after that, he called them 1 and 1 or 1 and 6 and so on. His siblings usually understand what he means, so he has been saying it wrong this time? He had heard the adults said some bigger numbers but it was too difficult for him, so he just ignored it.

"I see, you only learn up to 10.." Bai Yi Yang nod in understanding. Well, he is just 5 years old, it is only natural that he doesn't know a lot of things.

"En." Bai Yi Mo nod.

"It's very simple. There are two number here, you see.."The children nodded, paying attention to Bai Yi Yang fully.

"Then look at the first number, what is it?"

"It's 'yi'.." the two answer.

"Correct, but if there are two number, we won't simply call it 'yi', they are called 'shi'..understand?" She ask.

"Yes, like number 10." Bai Yi Mo nod.

"Good. Then what is this the second number here?"

"Its number 3, 'san'.." The two answer again.

"Then, if we combine it together, what would it be called?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Shi. San." Bai Yi Mo answer. Bai Yi Fang also understand it afterwards. Bai Yi Yang nod her head.

"Then, what about this?" She wrote the number 18. Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Ling was counting, they still need to count from one before the can said the number immediately.

"Shi ba!" The said.

"Correct. Very clever." Bai Yi Yang pat their head. She tested them with different numbers in random, and they immediately grasp the concept.Then she let them quiz each other. She didn't immediately teach them the other tens, it was actually easy but they were too engrossed with quizzing each other so she let them memorise it first while she went to do her homework.

She finished the one long essay about ideology and politics before moving on to her mathematics homework. She had learned mathematics in depth too because it was equally important if you are learning science, so it was really easy. Afraid, before this week ends, she will have run out of homework to do. That will be better then, she can just do what she want after that. But Bai Yi Chen will fell more pressure oh.

Bai Yi Yang saw that Bai Yi Chen is struggling with his physics homework, so she also steps forward to teach him. He had been doing physics since yesterday, the later part was an advanced syllabus that they haven't learn so he need to refer a lot to the textbook. Bai Yi Yang cannot see him continuously erasing then referring again like this, he is quite good since he can learn on his own, but it is still time consuming. So she stopped doing her mathematics and teach him instead.

Bai Yi yang didn't taught Bai Yi Chen slowly like the children since Bai Yi Chen knows the basic, she explain the concept to him and solve some questions that she made up on the spot.

"This is not the same from the previous one, the formula may look similar but this is entirely different concept, don't mix it up." She said.

"Alright.." Bai Yi Chen nod. After explaining a few more examples, Bai Yi Chen can understand it completely. Doing the questions in the exercise book is way more easy now, his speed immediately increase.

Bai Yi Yang bring her siblings to sleep at 10.30 pm. Bai Yi Chen and Xiao Mo also returns to the East house at the same time. Finally, Bai Yi Mo sleep with his little brother again. Bai Yi Yang doesn't mind Xiao Mo sleeping with them sisters but it is also good to educate him early about the difference of boys and girls. Let Bai Yi Chen took over in that area.
