Chapter 172: Post Exam

Song Zheng Sheng called her a few times in the bus but Bai Yi Chen ends up picking it up, he said a few words with Song Zheng Sheng, after that he blocked Song Zheng Sheng number. He also logged into Bai Yi Yang's social media account and blocked him.

"Seems like they are really moving back. We just wait, if they really returned, then someone will come to us, either Head Village Li or maternal uncle himself." Bai Yi Chen said. Bai Yi Yang nod.

Even with this news, of course Bai Yi Yang is not that eager to find out if the really wanted to move back. What more he missed a day to supply Boss Sun with fresh Matsutake mushrooms because of the exam, so she need to make it up today.

They promised Boss Sun to meet at 3.00 pm but Bai Yi Yang need to find deeper because she found a lot of Matsutake mushrooms nearby, it's just that they are still small. Because of Bai Yi Yang's farming aura, they are already growing way faster but it still need to take time.

"Was it hard to find?" Bai Yi Chen ask as they head home.

"Not that hard. But the one nearby is still small, wait for a few weeks and they will be bigger. I also found another area of morels. Next time we can go there." Bai Yi Yang said to Bai Yi Chen.

Basically, they already know which area is which. Mushrooms usually grow back at a same area. What more, when they are picking mushrooms, they choose to pick only the grown one instead of picking everything.

"En, next time we go again." Bai Yi Chen said.

When they siblings arrived home, Boss Sun is already there, looking around their vegetables farm. Bai Yi Chen met him when he went to the drying area.

Since Bai Yi Yang go to a new area, she also got a good harvest. Today, she got a total of 6.2 kg. Boss Sun immediately payed her 74,400 yuan. Bai Yi Yang doesn't care how much he sell it outside, their price remain the same since the beginning.

This weeks, they also has started selling vegetables, the rules is similar to the orchard, they will pick certain amounts. The vegetables has less amount than the fruits, so Zhang Yong immediately adapt a ordering system instead of selling it to the store. So, only old customer of Natural Grocery know about this things, and the order is usually finished even before the vegetables arrive from Bai mountain. There are Zhang Yong's cousin vegetarian restaurant, where most of the vegetables goes to.

Zhang Yong also know that Bai Yi Yang's vegetables farm is not big, so he suggest that they expand the farm. Bai Yi Yang also express her agreement. Mr.Feng as Zhang Yong's representative will arrive tomorrow to discuss the details with Bai Yi Yang. The earlier they start, they faster they can start selling the vegetables produce.

Because of this, Bai Yi Yang also express that she wanted to plant watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, cherry tomatoes and passion fruit. These fruits is not available in the orchard now. Since these fruits is not trees, they need more care so she wanted to plant is near the house. Anyway, when Mr.Feng arrange people to clean up the area later, she will still be in charge.

"In the future, are you going to expand even bigger area?" Bai Yi Chen ask when Bai Yi Yang start talking about their farm.

"No, just up to where we have planned. I wanted to preserve as much as possible. But currently we really have small variety of vegetables, we still can expand it. After that, I won't expand the farm again. What more, if we produce too much, it won't be exclusive again right." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En. I also like that our house is still surrounded by nature. If we don't have whole money, I can go with you to Country J to fish tuna." Bai Yi Chen joke. Bai Yi Yang laugh at this. Well, he is not wrong, she can always go fishing if she need a huge amount of money.

That money Bai Yi Yang earned from fishing tuna is really a lot. Since that day, Bai Yi Chen also think that the previous them is really too poor compared to now. She have heard the story about Zhang Ming Ming's siblings wanted to eat her cooking. Since she won't be able to invite them for a proper meal, then she can still make some snacks for them. Other than that, she already pop up some sweet potatoes into the oven to make baked sweet potatoes, then she is making chives pancakes too, then heat some steamed buns. That should be enough.

So, while she was frying youtiao, Zhang Ming Ming and her 4 younger siblings arrived. Even the smallest Xiao Hua is carried on Zhang Ming Ming's back. It was Bai Yi Chen who invite them inside. The Zhang siblings is not used to the Bai siblings house, so Zhang Ming Ming cannot leave them there by themselves.

Although she already remind her siblings not to act like they never seen some stuff, they still cannot help but feel amazed when they are inside. Actually Zhang Ming Ming is also like this when she first come over after the furniture is added, but her siblings reaction now is really embarrassing.

Luckily Bai Yi Mo knows how to dispelled awkwardness and Bai Yi Fang also woke up. So, Zhang Ming Ming siblings is handled by the two kids. Bai Yi Mo is really a cool kid, the two boys is older than him but he can befriend them well. Bai Yi Fang also bring the two girls to her bedroom. As for Bai Yi Ling, after saying hi to Zhang Ming Ming and her siblings, she returned to her bedroom to study since they have midterm next week.

Zhang Ming Ming wanted to help in the kitchen but Bai Yi Yang send her back to watch TV instead, so she just chat with Bai Yi Chen in the living room.

When the food is ready, Bai Yi Yang call them to the kitchen. Bai Yi Yang and her siblings is not used to tea time, this is one of the rare days. Bai Yi Yang, Bai Yi Chen and Zhang Ming Ming sat at the bar chair while the children sat at the table. Zhang Ming Ming's 11 years old brother Zhang Feng Lin is the one who feed Xiao Hua. He will stuff his mouth with food then feed Xiao Hua while he chew.

"Slow down.." Zhang Ming Ming feel embarrassed seeing her siblings eating like they weren't feed for days.

The Bai siblings doesn't seems to mind it, Bai Yi Fang even choose some food and put it into Zhang Su Su plate. Zhang Su Su is Zhang Ming Ming's 7 years old younger sister. When Bai Yi Fang add something on her plate she will say thank you and ask Bai Yi Fang what is that food called. Bai Yi Fang is used to her older sister's cooking, so she knows a bit, at least the key ingredients.

'Ming Ming's siblings is simple, it's just that they are not as lucky as me to have a Host that is a Master Chef.' TongTong comment.

'Ming Ming is good, of course her siblings won't be bad.' Bai Yi Yang said. If not, she won't invite them over.

The children is full, their stomach is round as they lean back. Bai Yi Yang smile at this sight and pack some steamed buns and roasted sweet potatoes for the Zhang parents.

"No need. We already ate a lot." Zhang Ming Ming feel embarrassed.

"For you to coax your parents for excluding them." Bai Yi Yang joke. Zhang Ming Ming also thinks that she need to explain why everyone wasn't home when they returned, so she accept the food.

Bai Yi Yang and her siblings send them out to the gate and the children enthusiastically wave goodbye with each other.

"I really like Xiao Hua." Bai Yi Fang said.

Bai Yi Fang is always like this, she like to play with girls younger than her, when she saw small girls who is younger than her, she will give them snacks and treat them more delicately compared to someone older or same age girls. Bai Yi Mo said that Bai Yi Fang saw them as her doll that she can play around with, just like how she usually play with TongTong.
