A car arrived in front of a mansion at one of the wealthy districts in Starry sky empire. The door of the car opened, which from it, two girls along with a small kid stepped out from.

Several figures instantly appeared in front of the three who just stepped out from the car.

"Miss, you're back." The leader of the group who appeared stepped forward and bowed. The others behind him also follow in his steps.

The three who just arrived were Miley, Xue Yiran and Xue Haoran respectively. The mansion in front of them belongs to Miley, who brought them over.

Xue Yiran never thought Miley was a rich girl. Even from her bearing, she didn't exude the rich girl aura. Instead, she was the frivolous and playful type which is contrast to her identity.

"Hmm." Miley nodded at their greetings and turned to face Xue Yiran. "Let's head inside. I want to show you around my turf. Haoran, sister will carry you, okay." Miley who had been longing to carry the little guy found some excuse and scoop him off the ground.

The three walked inside the huge mansion, follow by the group of workers behind them.

"Your house is so huge and beautiful." Xue Yiran complemented when they entered the living room. The place was spacious and furnished with extravagant furniture.

There was a huge vase potting a flower giving the room a nice decor.

"You say so. However, it's quite boring living in such a huge house all alone." Miley complained.

"You live all by yourself?" Xue Yiran was surprised.

"If minus the workers, then I do." Miley smiled. "Come, let me show you around the house."

Miley pull Xue Yiran with her other hand that was not holding Xue Haoran at the moment and showed her around the house.

The house was very big. But the two didn't get tired walking around the house.

"Wow, a private library. I never knew we have that in here." Miley chuckled. It was much likely that she hadn't walk around her house before. Even more so, it was fun looking around the house with the two.

When they reached the training room, Xue Yiran fell in love with the room instantly. The training equipment in Miley's training room were more advanced than hers.

"Here is the training room." Miley introduced. "I don't usually use it much since the feeling is not the same as fighting with beast physically." Miley walked around the room. "Want to test it out?" The question was directed at Xue Yiran.

"No, I shouldn't--."

"Come on, it's nothing." Miley cut Xue Yiran who was about to refuse her offer. "You can use the training room. I'll call you when dinner is ready. I'm off to play with Xue Haoran." Miley smiled and kissed Xue Haoran on his cheeks. "Bye." After the farewell, she left the place all alone to Xue Yiran.

[Host, that girl is wealthy.] Susu who was silent all this while spoke. After entering Miley's house, he suddenly understands the definition of what wealthy denotes. He then added, [However she's not as wealthy as you. We could buy ten of these places with the money we make a day from the store.]

"Yes." Xue Yiran agreed. "Although I quite admired the house but living such a huge place isn't for me. Perhaps I might get lost walking around." She smiled at her last sentence.

However, her smile instantly faded when she seems to recall something. Damn. The house was big, how would she find her way back to the dining room.

Miley had said she would call her when dinner's ready. But the other party seems not to know the way around her house much less of her.

"How are we going go back?" Xue Yiran was feeling pent up.

[Host, what's wrong?] Weren't they talking about money.

"The way to the living room. How am I going to go once I'm done training."

[Oh that, you don't have to worry host. I can recall all the way you took here so it's easy going back.]

"That's great then." Xue Yiran let out a sigh after hearing Susu words. Since there was no need for her to worry, she walked towards the projected equipment.

Wait a minute. Xue Yiran step paused. Shouldn't I gauge my strength first.

After contracting with the wolf king, she felt she'd gotten a lot stronger.

Xue Yiran traced her steps and walked towards the equipment for testing her combat strength. Getting into posture, she swung at fist hard at the machine.

Figures flashed hurriedly across the machine interface before it finally stopped.

"Oh, 500. That's 150 higher." Xue Yiran was stunned at the much increasement in her combat strength. However why is it still at C.

The big alphabet letter next to the figures signify she was still in the C rank.

She leveled up quickly from E rank to C rank last time. The increment in her strength was lot higher than this.

Xue Yiran immediately arrived at a conjecture. The higher your level is, the harder it is to level up. This is same as it was back in the apocalypse.

After knowing this, Xue Yiran walked back to the training projector equipment.

After switching it on and choosing the class she wants to fight against, the training projected beast appeared.

It was a tiger type beast.

Xue Yiran was very amaze by what she saw. The projected beast was big and it very much looked realistic than the projected beast she had fought before.

Her surrounding also seems to have changed. The colorful wall had been replaced by the simulation of a forest. The ground felt real and she could feel the breeze on her skin. It was so realistic just as the virtual net.

That's right, the virtual net. Was this technology also made from the maker of the virtual net?

Xue Yiran wasn't able go deeper into her thoughts as the tiger beast lunged fiercely at her. She made to dodge but it seems the beast had already predicted her next movement.

Damm. This is a hella smart beast.

Xue Yiran was hit in the stomach. Her body flung back from the impact. The pain she felt was so hard that she almost puke blood.

F*ck. I forgot to turned down the pain max.

Just as she was about getting up and counterattack the beast, Xue Yiran felt a change in her surroundings. The previous training room was back in her view and the vivid forest had long disappeared.

"Huh. What happened?" Shouldn't I be fighting off with the beast.

[I think it's the setting of the machine. Realistically, you would have been dead when you were hit by that tiger beast earlier. The intelligence and everything about the beast is same as real beast and it is more familiar with the forest terrain since its territory. Therefore, it's just not about you training your skill but be familiar with the beast itself and their surroundings. Well, you don't have to worry about since you've me. All the information about each beast characteristics had been downloaded by me. So, if you want to know, you can depend on me.] Susu said.

Xue Yiran brow furrowed when she heard Susu's words. "Now that you say it, wouldn't that make a weak individual."

[Huh.]

That's right. She would be so weak if she'd relied on Susu all the time. When she was facing the wild wolves earlier, it was due to Susu information that she could take then on.

Even Kai praised her for her skill but she knew it wasn't entirely it but due to Susu help.

[Host, what are you thinking of?]

"Nothing." Who cares if I'm using Susu help. The two of us are already partner so why should I worry. Before I'd Susu, wasn't I great before. Now that I've him, I should be better than before. "Share their terrain info with me whenever I'm battling with them."

Xue Yiran starts the equipment again. It was the Tiger beast earlier. Xue Yiran guess that this Tiger was the basic level. As she goes on, she would be able to fight fiercer beast.

A blue interface popped in front of her. On it was the map of the forest terrain. Since the illusion was realistic, it was quite ideal that the surrounding was made from the actual one so it was very easy for Susu to project the map.

This time around with Susu assistant, Xue Yiran was able to take on the beast.

The sky outside the window was already dark. Xue Yiran, Miley and Xue Haoran were seated around a table getting ready to eat dinner. The dinner was prepared by the master chef in the house. The dinner was not as delicious the one Susu made at home; however, it was still great for a long-lost skill thousands of years ago.

"Now that I've ate your cookies, I seem to find the food in front of me bland." Miley gaze at the food in pity. She then noticed that Xue Haoran was almost not touching the food either. "Huh, Haoran. Why aren't you eating? Is it not to your taste?"

"Hmm." Xue Haoran who had already gotten used to the delicious food Xue Yiran always made for him sulked in. He didn't want to eat this bland food but his sister's food.

"Then what are we to do? Flynn." Miley called.

The head chef named Flynn stepped forward when he heard his name being called. "Yes, miss. Is the dinner not suited to your taste. Do you want me to prepare another dish?"

"No, that's not it. Do we have some nutrient solution at home. The sweeter the better. The kid doesn't seem to enjoy the food much."

"Yes miss." The chef bowed, ready to retreat before Xue Yiran suddenly stopped him.

"You don't have to. He just doesn't have an appetite." Xue Yiran explained.

"But he didn't eat anything since evening." Miley didn't believe Xue Yiran explanation at all.

"Well, how do I say this." Xue Yiran looked at Xue Haoran with a helpless smile. "It's not that he didn't want to eat but he doesn't like the taste. Don't worry, I'll feed him some cookies when we get home."

"Oh, so that's it. After eating your cookies, I would have hated eating something bland like this anymore." Miley smiled.

"I'll get something for you when we get home." Xue Yiran pat Xue Haoran on the assuring him.

"Okay." Xue Haoran nodded at his sister words.

Xue Yiran then went back to eating her food. The two were then dropped back home after the dinner.

"Hungry." Xue Haoran pulled at his sister clothes and mumbled when they entered the house.

"Okay, sister will cook some light dinner for you. It's late already so you shouldn't eat something heavy. Here, munch on this till I'm done." Xue Yiran took out an apple from the fridge and hand it to Xue Haoran before entering the kitchen.

She finished cooking so fast since she was making light food. She tucked Xue Haoran back into the bed when it was time for sleep and went to her room to have a shower.

Getting rid of the evening heat, Xue Yiran felt refreshed as she came out of the bathroom. The light brain she tosses beside the bedside table was flashing constantly.

She walked towards the bed and reached out for the light brain. After a light tap, she saw the loads of messages coming from the guild chat.

Huh. Why's everyone excited tonight.

When she read the message, she instantly knew the reason why. It was due to the event that happened earlier this evening.

[Tyron: What If you get hurts. Don't you care about breaking the rule.]

[Vice president: How can I get hurt with those trashy skills of his. You've indulged him so much which is why he messes with us anyhow. Anyways, I'm not you so I'll strike back if anyone bullies me.]

[Milo: Thank you for carrying out justice for us @Vice president.]

[Walker: How I wish I was dare. I would have love to see his embarrassing state.]

[Atlas: I would have love to punch him in the face. Inform us next time you're going trash that guy so I can prepare my new boxing gear for the event.]

[Kai: Serves him right. I've always wondered why boss always held back whenever he taunts us.]

[Tyron: Do you all think this is a joke. Miley broke the rule and she's going to be punished for it. Have you wondered what sort of punishment she will face.]

[Vice president: Are you telling me I should have stayed and watched him harassed Xue Yiran? I don't know what have gotten over you Tyron. During our prior days, you used to be the most adventurous among us. However, you suddenly change becoming those scared kitty cat you detest back in those days. Becoming the strongest guild. If this is the strongest guild where we are being bullied by anyone is what you wanted, then I'm sorry to say that I'm out of it.]

[Gael: Fuck, what did I just missed.]

Xue Yiran was likewise stunned at the way the situation turned. This...what just happened.

[Ryker: @Tyron you'd better apologize to her. I think she's pissed this time around.]

[Tyron: I know. Sorry, everyone for making such a scene.]

After Tyron message, no one dare send any messages due to the foul mood in the air. Xue Yiran exits the chat and placed the light brain back on the bedside table.

Miley... She wondered if it's okay. This was a situation between her and Tyron, it wouldn't do her good if she butts in. However, all this was started because of her. Maybe... She would apologize to Tyron tomorrow. Now wasn't a good time for that.

Xue Yiran sighed as she laid on the bed. Looks like her joining a team was a bad decision. Although she had only known them not long, they were very nice to her. Especially Miley. She didn't want her to get into trouble because of her affairs.

Maybe from tomorrow, she would start a solo team. There wouldn't be much gain as she was still weak which means Susu upgrade would have to wait for a while.
