Chapter 19 - Lily's Revenge

— Lilith's PoV —

I woke up in this totally new place! It was a cozy bed, and I figured out what happened right away.

I knew exactly where I was by that cool smell around me. I sniffed the blanket, and yup, it smelled just like Brother Boss!

I checked myself all over, and it was super-duper comfy.

For sure, Brother Boss must have saved me again. He's the best! It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I tiptoed towards the door and tried to open it, but what I saw shocked me big time. Brother Boss was giving those mean bullies a taste of their own medicine.

I didn't wanna interrupt him, so I just watched from the door.

It was so intense! The bullies were in so much pain, and they looked like they were screaming, but no sound came out. It was kinda scary, but I couldn't help feeling like they deserved it.

Hehe, guess what happened next? Vincent totally peed his pants, and it was so funny. Those bullies finally got what they asked for!

But suddenly, I felt someone looking at me. I turned around, and there was Brother Boss, holding a knife. He had this kind of scary look on his face, but I wasn't scared at all because he wasn't aiming it at me.

Phew!

But when Brother Boss looked at me, his gaze turned all warm and nice.

The knife he was holding magically vanished into thin air. Then, he came over and gently patted my head, making me feel so happy and safe.

He said, "You wouldn't have to worry anymore."

His words of assurance made me smile so big with happiness.

I nodded, and tears of joy escaped from my eyes.

Boss gave me a strong pat on the head, and I snuggled my head against him, feeling all warm and loved.

But even with this heartwarming moment, I couldn't forget the bullies in the corner of the shop. They were still suffering from their punishment.

"Ah"

Suddenly, Boss yelped as if he remembered something important.

He quickly covered my eyes with his hands, saying, "You don't have to see how I punish these bad guys. From now on, you're only allowed to see the good things."

His words made me feel all warm inside, but deep down, I knew I couldn't just ignore what those bullies did.

So, I mustered up my courage and told him, "Brother... Boss, I want to punish them myself. They are super bad guys that bullied me."

He seemed surprised by my request, taking a moment to think before finally nodding in agreement.

"I see, I see. This world is really different. Even a little kid like you can be this strong, and you've got a point. Facing your fears is important, huh? Okay, let's do it your way."

Brother Boss muttered something under his breath, and even though I didn't quite catch his words, he patted me gently once more.

Then he said, "I remembered you told me that they made you their practice target. How about we turn the tables and do the same to them?"

*Nod, nod

I nodded enthusiastically, showing him that I was totally on board with the idea. It felt empowering to take control and face those bullies, just like they did to me.

With Brother Boss by my side, I knew we could show them that their mean ways wouldn't go unpunished.

Upon seeing Lily's adorable appearance, Luke's anger began to subside, and a sense of calm washed over him.

However, the effects of Overheat, had not yet worn off, as the situation remained unresolved.

It was at this moment that he recalled his impulsive actions from earlier. Despite using his abilities carelessly, he was astonished to see how effectively they had worked.

In the heat of his anger and under the influence of Overheat, Luke had unconsciously employed his skills in a rather harsh and cruel manner.

However, this unintended display of power also sparked an idea within him, showing him a potential new way to wield his abilities moving forward.

Determined to punish the troublemakers, Luke approached the bullies and forcefully made them stand up.

His actions triggered an excruciating agony as their senses of pain were activated. They cried out and appeared to be screaming, but no sound escaped their mouths.

Fearful of the consequences, they dared not move, worried that falling from their standing position could cause serious harm or even be fatal.

Despite the lack of sound, Luke could sense the immense pain the bullies were enduring by observing their anguished facial expressions. It was evident that they were going through a tremendous ordeal.

However, Luke remained indifferent to their suffering. Back on Earth, he had always yearned to punish wicked individuals, especially those who exploited the vulnerable and oppressed people. Sadly, he had felt powerless to do so in his previous life.

But now, in this new world with his newfound abilities, he had an unwavering determination to stand up against anyone who brought harm to those he considered his family.

[POWER ON]

Luke cautiously attempted to use his skill which was far more potent and perilous than he had anticipated.

He activated the bullies' sense of fear, unleashing an overwhelming surge of terror within them.

In an instant, the bullies were gripped by an indescribable emotion, as if they were facing their worst nightmares come to life.

Their eyes were filled with dread, and they looked at Luke as if he were a monstrous creature ready to devour them whole. The effect of his power was truly daunting, and it made them tremble in terror.

"Lily, come here and practice your magic."

The mere sound of Luke's voice sent shivers down their spines, intensifying their fear. They screamed in terror, their mouths wide open, but no sound escaped their lips.

Desperation filled their hearts, and they yearned for an end to their suffering. However, Luke remained vigilant, ensuring they wouldn't find relief so easily. Even when some of them passed out from the overwhelming fear, he used an unknown magic to wake them up, prolonging their torment.

Lily, on the other hand, approached the bullies with a determined skip in her step.

"Hmph! You bullies! You're finally getting what you deserve," she declared boldly. "I warned you that you'd get hurt if you bullied me, but you didn't listen."

In the bullies' terrified eyes, Lily transformed into a fearsome dragon. The activation of their sense of fear distorted their perception, making everything seem more dreadful, and to them, Lily appeared as a walking disaster.

Lily then concentrated her mana into her right hand. The pure energy enveloped her hand, coalescing into a brilliant sphere of power. Her determination to stand up for herself and confront the bullies was now embodied in that sphere of mana.

Lily crouched down, her gaze fixed intently on the trio of bullies before her.

With all her preparations complete, she assumed a determined stance, and then, with an unexpectedly adorable shout, she unleashed her power.

"Shoyoukeen!"

"Shouyoukeeeen!"

"Shouuyouuukeeeeeen!"

With a swift and precise movement, Lily delivered a powerful uppercut to each bully's chin. But it wasn't an ordinary strike; her punch carried the potent force of Non-Attribute mana, amplifying the impact beyond that of typical magic.

The technique she employed was reminiscent of a magical skill from the computer game she had played, etched deep into her memory. Lily's proficiency in recreating the game's magic in reality was both impressive and unexpected.

Luke was utterly flabbergasted by what he witnessed.

"Wow, this little girl is truly skilled!" he thought with amazement. "She can even replicate techniques from a game! Haha, that's impressive! I don't need to worry about her at all; she's got it covered!"

Feeling proud of Lily's abilities and her fearlessness in taking on the bullies, Luke gave her a thumbs up in admiration. He was confident that she could handle whatever challenges came her way.

The trio's world seemed to shatter as they experienced a torrent of excruciating pain surging through their bodies. The suffering was beyond anything they had ever known, and their desire to escape the torment made them wish for death more than ever before.

Eventually, unable to bear the agony any longer, they succumbed to unconsciousness.

Lily struck a triumphant pose, showing her satisfaction with the outcome. However, despite her success, she still seemed unsatisfied, seeking retribution for what Vincent had done to her.

When Lily's intense gaze fell upon Vincent, he felt a surge of fear that made him lose control of his bodily functions, and he couldn't help but soil himself in terror. The realization that he was now facing the consequences of his actions was enough to make him tremble in fear.
