Chapter 4 Snowdrops

"Sister! Sister! Look what I got!" In a snow covered trees by the roadside, some puddles can also be seen, a girl was crouching under the tree.

Wearing fur cloak, mittens, boots and a hat. Aged 3 years old, ginger hair and a smile that was never affected by the cold snow.

Holding something on both of her hands she called to her sister who was inside the carriage.

The carriage door opened and a girl aged 7 years old peaked her little head.

"Come on Scarlet! It's cold and you might get sick, even if it is almost spring, it is still cold outside, playtime is over. Father and mother would scold us again for talking to long going home from aunt's house." She was covered from head to toe like she was afraid of cold.

I just want to get back on my bed and sleep! I wish! But tutor Miss Veronica is waiting for study time! I really hate snow, good thing the winter is almost over.

She was grumbling for all the lazy people in the world!

The little girl trotted to the carriage and went inside, still holding something on both of her hands and presenting it to her big sister. She then snuggled beside her showing that both of them are very close.

"What's that? Let your big sister see what you have found, it's better be good for calling the carriage to stop." She hugged the cold Scarlet and draped her with her cloak. Making sure her little sister is comfortable while looking at the thing that she was holding.

"Look what I got sister Sarah! A flower blooming in the snow!" She was still smiling like she had found a treasure.

Sarah then took the flower from her little hands and marveling at the flower that survives and even blooms at a cold environment.

"Sister, do you know what is the name of this flower?" Little Scarlet was comfortably snuggling on her sister looking at the flower that she brought.

"It's called Snowdrops, a white drooping bell-shaped flower. Often blooms at late winter or it is almost spring when the ice is melting. It also has a very deep meaning behind them. As one of the first flowers of spring, they often symbolize new beginnings, hope, rebirth and the ability to overcome challenges." She was holding the flower like it has another meaning on her.

"Woah! Sister is amazing! Beginnings, hope, rebirth and the ability to overcome challenges! You really know everything!" With sparkling eyes, Scarlet hugged her.

"Not everything~." With a wry smile, she patted her little sister's head.

"Sir Clark! Let's go home." Sarah then asked the coachman and all of them along with the hidden guards encircling the carriage to continue their journey home.

Rebirth huh.
