In a place far away, hidden from the world. A man knelt in front of a man on the throne. His sweat dripped on the cold hard floor with each passing moment. But he didn't lift his head and look directly at the person before him.
Even though he was injured and exhausted, he didn't show it outside. Any unwanted action would be troublesome for him. So, he patiently waited until the man initiated a conversation.
"Thorne." A majestic voice called out. The kneeling man finally lifted his head. Still, he didn't dare make eye contact with the person on the throne. "Failure was not an option.
