(1-6) Initial Negotiations with the Beast

The beast seems to be at a loss for words before finally replying, "I...have only requested for one daughter to come."

"Yes, but neither of us can stay," you repeat.

The beast pauses for a second before answering again, "I'm afraid that neither of you will be able to leave."

"Why?" The beast really is going to force you two to stay? No, you will not allow him to hold you two hostage. You grab Belle's hand, ready to flee, given any signs of threat.

"It is not that I am attempting to hold you two hostage, but it is the curse of the castle. Any maiden that enters the palace grounds will not be able to leave the palace grounds for three months."

You shake your head. No, no, this can't be happening.
