GC Level Up!

Sirius carried some plastic bags which has all the things he bought from the public market place. And currently, he was on his way back to their house.

'I should just ride the tricycle to go back, there's still quite a distance from here and home.'

The public market place was about 200 meters away from their home, and he only ran earlier towards to it because he wanted to progress on his quest. But since he now carried some plastic bags, he can't run back home.

And if he just walk back then that will take much longer. So with all that in mind, Sirius walked towards the tricycle station where tricycles lined up.

"Excuse me, can you take me to brgy. (*barangay) pakong central?" Sirius talked to a man appearing to be in his early thirties.

"Brgy. Pakong Central? Alright, ride on but we have to wait for some time for other passengers, okay?" The man replied to Sirius.

Sirius nodded in return and sat inside the tricycle. They waited for some time before some passenger appeared. And after that, they took off and few minutes after, Sirius arrived in front of their house.

"Here's the fare, thanks." Sirius passed his fare before walking towards their house. Arriving in front, he passed the plastic bags in his right hand to his left and opened the door.

Silently, he walked inside and went directly towards the kitchen which was behind the living room.

Along the way, he didn't see his father so he assumed he was at work. Arriving at the kitchen, he saw his mother cleaning there.

Their kitchen was not big, it contains a refrigerator at the right, table with chairs in the center, the sink and a plastic cabinet where the plates, spoons and forks are put in.

"Mother, here are what you tasked to buy." He said as he put down the plastic bags on the table.

His mother, Martha, glanced at him for a moment before going back to work.

"Alright, you can go now."

Sirius went out of the house after that and started doing his quest. He did the remaining few hundred meters left from the 1km he needed. After which the usual 100 squats and push ups.

Just like yesterday, he continued on progressing and finishing basic quests. He finished 5 yesterday and another 5 today which makes it 10 basic quest finished.

The sun was setting which colored the sky with a red-orange shade. And Sirius, who was done with his quest was now feeling the effects of his excessive workout.

He dragged his sore body, limping slowly. 'Sigh...I should rest for tomorrow, anyway it's monday tomorrow....Right, I'll go to school again...' He thought silently

He was currently a second year senior high school student at the local public high school. He wasn't particularly feeling anything about going to school tomorrow since for him, it's the same.

He was a loner at school with no friends at all. Some of his classmates even pick on him sometimes but most of the time, they just ignore him like he's invisible.

Back to present, Sirius finally arrived back home. He entered and saw his mother and father already eating. There was no wall as divider for their kitchen where they eat and living room so they were visible after just coming inside.

When he was seen by his parents, his father, Richard, called out. "Oh, you're back! Sit down and eat..." after saying so, Richard continued eating without looking at Sirius anymore.

Sirius just lowered his head and walked over then grabbed a plate, spoon and fork before getting the rest of his food. Then he sat down on one of the chairs and ate silently.

After eating, Sirius waa tasked to wash the dishes and he complied. Finally after finishing the task, he went to his room and slept like a log due to the accumulated stress on his body and mind. Though before he fully fell asleep, he saw the notice from the GC.

[Congratulations! Admin has finished enough basic quests for the GC to level up. The GC will now undergo an update for 24 hours. Until then, all the functions of the GC will be unavailable.]

Seeing the notice, Sirius slept with a smile. After two grueling days of completing quests, the GC will finally level up. At least something good happened to him that day.

The next day~

The sun is already up shining the world, at least half of it. As for Sirius, he was currently on his way to school. The school he attends was near from their house, it's about 50 meters away from it, so he just walks to go there.

On his way to school, he saw many students also walking. Some with their friends or lovers, all of them was in groups unlike him who was walking alone.

But he was already used to it so he just proceeded to walk. But as he was walking, he heard some laughter behind him.

"Hahaha, isn't this mr. loner boy?" A boy about the same age as Sirius commented followed by two other boys who laughed in response.

"Hahaha"

Sirius stayed silent and lowered his head, these three was those classmates who pick on him sometimes but it seems he was unlucky today. Although, he did promise himself to change, he can't possibly do so swiftly so he didn't say anything.

"Yo! Loner boy, still as lonely as ever, I see!" The first boy and also the leader of the trio was named, Mark.

Mark appeared to be an above average youth with black hair and eyes. He was quite muscular for his age and also tower over Sirius.

As for the other two, they just appear to be average youths with just a bit more muscles built.

Smack!

"Hey!"

Mark smacked the back of Sirius's head after seeing Sirius stayed silent. A smile appeared on his face as he looked towards the other two.

Getting the signal, the other two also foloowed Mark and smacked the back of Sirius's head. The three did so multiple times before walking ahead while laughing.

That day passed by for Sirius without more commotion afrer the earlier one that morning. And on the afternoon, he got home just as the sun was setting.

He then took a bath and changed clothes before eating with his family and as usual washing the dishes before going to his room.

Now lying on his bed, Sirius stared at the holographic board in front of him. Right, he could now easily make the board disappear or appear after getting the information about the GC.

Sirius thought for some time and decided to first asked what the invitation are,although he did have sone ideas on what it is.

"GC, explain the random invitation"

[Understood! Random invitation are like their name suggest, after using this type of invitation will randomly select a person from different dimension and reality to be invited in the Inter-Dimensional Exchange Group Chat.]

"Based on your explanation, there should be other types of invitation right?" Sirius asked after noticing something.

[Admin is right, there two types of invitation. One of them is the random invitation and the other is specific invitation which if used, admin can ivite someone he chooses.]

Sirius nodded before he came to his decision. "Alright, open the random invitations GC!"

[Understood! Opening 3x random invitation... Please wait for some time for the people invited to the GC to appear online.]

Sirius nodded and waited for quite some time before some notifications appeared. He stared at the notification appearing in front of him.

[Dreamer (Admin) has entered the chat!]

Poison Lord: Hey! What's with this name and what is this floating holographic board in front of me. Hey system, are the reason for this?!

Kunieda Aoi stared at the floating screen in front of her with some curiosity and vigilance.

Aoi is an extremely attractive and beautiful young teenager with waist-length dark blue/black hair that has bangs hanging over her forehead and blue eyes.

She wears an open white trench coat, cargo pants, bandages covering her chest that revealing her stomach and white boots. She also wears a black string around her neck with a golden ring hanging in the middle.

She was currently besude a riverside sitting on the grass when suddenly this screen appeared and said that she was now a member of something called Inter-Dimensional Exchange Group Chat.

And of course as expected, she was quite dumbfounded but quickly composed herself. After she was forcefully joined in this GC, some information on how to use the GC was ingrained in her mind.

So with that knowledge, she typed her question on the chat. She also noticed the other members, especially the one named Dreamer after she noticed the title of admin beside his name.

Taichu Continent, United University of Cultivation. Inside a certain residence was a handsome young man with silky black hair and black eyes. He was currently lying on a bed whike staring at the floating screen in front of him.

"Hey! What's with this name and what is this floating holographic board in front of me. Hey system, are the reason for this?!" As he said this out loud, it was automatically typed in the chat.

{Negative! The system was not responsible for this Group Chat.}

This response made An Lin quite uneasy, after experiencing some absurdness of his system, he really doesn't want another one adding to his misery.

"Damn...But if it isn't the system, who was the one who created this thingy called an Inter-Dimensional Exchange Group Chat? And what's with the name of it, so exagerrated." An Lin muttered, this time it was not automatically typed in. An Lin then noticed a certain member. "Dreamer? So he's the admin of this GC, he should know something about then."

And with that thought in mind, he asked a question in the chat room.

Poison Lord: Admin @Dreamer, can you please explain the premise of this GC?

Dreamer (Admin): I'm not too sure either as I, myself was just randomly invited into this GC 2 days ago. But from what the ibformation the GC provided me, this GC should be something like those systems in novels but just in the form of a GC. Quests will randomly be assigned for us to complete and random rewards will be given according to the difficulty of the quest. Actually, I already completed 10 basic quest for the past 2 days just to level up the GC, and today it finished it's upgrade and unlocked the chat funtion and shop. As for it's capabilities, we will know in the future. But the information it gave me did say that we could be travelling into different worlds for quests. And if my speculations are right, then we all should also be from different worlds and was connected by this GC.

An Lin was quite surprised and a bit skeptical after seeing the response from the admin. "Was that really the case? He doesn't know anything either, but he is thrme admin..."

While An Lin was in deep thought, in another reality, at the Confederate which was a democratic country and also one of the strongest country.

Here in this country at a certain apartment was a youth with black hair reaching his shoulders was staring at the screen in front of him. He was not as surprised as the other chat members as he already experienced similar things.

This youth was currently 18 years old and just graduated from high school, his name is Gu Qing Shan. He was also some one who travelled back in time or more specifically, he was brought back by the war god UI system.

More than ten years from now after the apocalypse descended on earth. In the tenth year of the Apocalypse, with the help of some other Cultivators he launched the sword saint Secret Art Tong Gui, sacrificing himself with the others, to kill the "Final Demon Lord".

At the last moment, he was taken away by the War God Interface and traveled back in time to 10 years ago.

Gu Qing Shan stared at the explanation posted by the admin @Dreamer. And he nodded and was quite calm, after all he did have experience with going into a different world than his own.

AN: Heya! Author here once again. So some terms may be unfamilar with some of you so let me explain.

*Barangay- it is the smallest administrative division in the Philippines. The the term often refers to an inner city neighbourhood, a suburb or a suburban neighborhood. It is most commonly consisting of 50 to 100 families under a headman. Simply put, a barangay are like smaller districts of a town, here in the Philippines.

*Tricycle- is a type of motorized vehicle from the Philippines consisting of a motorcycle attached to a passenger cab. It is one of the most common means of public or private transportation in the Philippines, especially in rural areas. These public utility vehicles either ply a set route or are for-hire, like taxis.

Also when I use '~~~~~' it means it is the chat room.
