A perfect state

As they were standing alone in front of the Inn, Jay asked Haribelle where exactly they had been staying. She answered that they had tried to hide in the tent area and asked if they would enter the inn with him.

But Jay requested her to show him their place, what she gladly did with a growing smile.

Once arrived at their place, Jay couldn't help but wonder how they had managed to sleep in that tent he was standing in front of. It was not only slanted, the side hung completely loose and all around their blankets peeked out.

He could only order her to put that thing away and then had wait until she was done. This hadn't taken too long, as Haribelle simply had grabbed everything and pulled it to the side.

With enough space there and no one watching, Jay set up his own tent, completely startling the tall Bovinean.

She looked at him but took a while to form a question.

"What's better with that thing?" H.

"Go inside and have a look…" J.

She did as she was asked and slipped inside while Jay glanced at her firm big but when she ducked forward to get in.

Just at that moment he heard someone closing in pretty fast from behind. There was no question it was Marley, so he turned around and welcomed her back.

Once she arrived, Marley asked if they would stay at the garrison, considering he had left the Inn behind. But Jay only pointed to the tent and she couldn't help but smile.

He then learned that she had thought as much and this way came there directly as she knew his tent was way more comfy than most Inns.

As he was about to enter himself, Marley asked a question he hadn't expected this soon.

"What you said about going to the mines… is it really true?" M.

"Yes, well, it's not like I'm letting you off the hook…" J.

"But I can move freely with this crew you mentioned? What's the catch then?" M.

"Yes, you'll sail with them. No catch, but if you're going to join them you have to relay an order: The crew that's forming has to make it a female only pirate pirate ship..." J.

A sly smile formed on Marley's face as Jay stated the last sentence. She instantly understood from what kind of women this crew was going to get formed.

"Should we look out for any special types of new crew members then? Do you have any wishes or demands?" M.

"Nope, only some with good skills and possibly not ugly is all right…" J.

"Ooh… what kind of skills?…" M.

That last question of hers was a teasing one, but Jay corrected her and explained he really meant good fighting or utilization skills.

As for what they should do, Jay said the crew was to plunder and take what ever they could get once they set sail.

Suddenly Marley remembered something and relayed a request from Brynna:

"The Dwarf said for making her complete such a task at night and even upon reunion, she demands as compensation your big mace for exclusive use, ...what ever she meant with that." M.

As Jay said nothing it clicked in for Marley and an "Oh...Ooohhh" escaper her lips.

Jay simply stepped to the side and held the entrance to the tent open, having her enter it first. He then followed and nearly bumped into Marley who had abruptly stopped right behind the entrance.

The reason for her stopping there presented itself to Jay on the table in the central living space:

Haribelle had completely stripped down and lay in awaiting pose for Jay, who himself got nearly as stunned as Marley.

He had expected her to plan something, but this was something completely topping everything even he could have thought of. Bold as Haribelle was, she didn't mind Marley and even commented she had no problem for a new face joining.

From the side Jay could see Marley's face switch from stunned to a wide grin.

To that he grabbed her hand and walked to a separation at the side. As he wasn't planning on messing up his own bed, he was going to use another one.

Leaning back after he passed the curtains, he saw a baffled Haribelle still lying on the table.

"You comin'?" J.

He didn't need to ask twice for her to jump from the table and hurry after them.

Marley had used the short moment and already begun stripping down. Jay stepped forward and helped her slender figure out of her armor, all the while the two of them started kissing.

Haribelle at that time had positioned herself to the side slightly behind Marley from Jay's position.

It really had been as he had expected: Brynna had finished her job and brought the restored sword back to the tent. Upon inquiring how she knew they were there, she explained that marley had hinted her beforehand that Jay had a very special tent.

After she handed him the Wingblade and he inspected it, Jay could only marvel on the performance of the short woman. She did the same though when she took a peek behind the curtain Jay had come though.

A bit envious she looked over to him as Jay analyzed the sword.

It really not only got restored to a perfect state but even enhanced by a lot. He turned to her, lifted her chin and placed a deep kiss on her lips.

Then he whispered her his honest thanks and promised the demanded compensation. He even went so far as to state it would be one she'd never forget.

By that time the two still nude women had woken up again and come out of the separation. They all sat at the table in the middle of the tent following Jay's request.

He then explained what he had in mind for them.

While Marley already knew the gist of it, the other two got really surprised, even more so when Jay stated there would be a fourth to join them. He explained where they had to go to and even pointed out the entrance to the hidden passage on his map.

Though he doubted they would any longer betray him, he still ordered them to listen to Marley's commands and her to not exploit this.

He then told them to enter the mines, use the explosives still there and blast up the passage connecting to the deeper parts of the mines. They had to at least seal up everything down from the foundry.

Leaning over to Marley he hinted her that if they found some survivors from his treatment, she should decide what to do with them.

Without saying anything explicit, he saw she had a hunch as to what he meant.

She would be in charge of recruitment for the time they hadn't set sail, so if she had spare time after they returned, she could search all over Westfield for bandit drop-outs. He stated he'd give her some of the collars he had collected for that case.

Jay further instructed the three women to report to Vanessa once they reached the Juggernaut, who then would have the highest command.

Turning to Marley he gave her another order, and that was to only do things beneficial to him and find a way to inform him of their progress.

If she managed to perform well, he would reward her later, and not only with some time alone for them. A shiver of joy came over Marley following that, but even Haribelle and Brynna looked more than pleased.

It was nearly morning when they finished, so everyone went to different separations and at least took another short nap to regain some strength. Jay of course used his own bedroom for that, only to get joined by Brynna a few minutes after he had laid down.

She was completely okay with only cuddling though as she knew it had gotten quite late. Like this the two of them drifted off to a sound sleep, until only a few hours later Jay woke up and prepared some breakfast as thanks to his slaves.

Once done with eating, they dressed properly as Marley and Haribelle still hadn't bothered to put on more than their undergarments, and then packed up their belongings. They left the tent together and Jay gave Marley and Brynna a pouch each.

For Marley it held the promised collars and in the Half-Dwarf one's he had put some ores and metal bars she might find use for.

Storing away the tent, it was finally time to return home.
