Friendship isn't my goal.

The victors were led to an airplane that was already waiting for them.

Kadori entered the plane and sat in the very last seat, making sure he was away from everyone there.

The remaining students engaged themselves in loud discussions about what life at the Terminator academy would be like.

Kadori used his system to scan almost every student on the plane and discovered he was the only low-ranked one.

The few strongest were in Platinum 4, while the weakest was in Silver 3.

There was nothing like Bronze there except for Kadori.

Kadori didn't let it bother him too much, as the rank meant nothing to him at the moment. The only thing on Kadori's mind was leveling up and gaining more stat points to get stronger.

Kadori's current strength without being halved was double the strength of a Platinum 4 Chaos energy user.

He just felt like the ranking in the system actually meant nothing, and all that mattered was the level.

'Hey, there.' A boy approached Kadori and sat down in the empty seat beside him.

Looking at the boy, it reminded Kadori of Bjorn back home. When it comes to looks, the boy wasn't lacking at all. Long snow-white hair braided in two nice braids, muscular build, and a very attractive face.

"I'm Geralt, by the way." Geralt introduced, extending his hand for a shake.

Kadori glanced at the boy's hand for a few seconds before shaking it.

"Kadori,"Kadori responded.

"I saw your move back there. It was pretty impressive, I tell ya." Geralt spoke up like a loyal fan who just met the celebrity he has been supporting for 80 years.

"Thank you." Kadori appreciated.

"So how did you do it? What's your Chaos technique?" Geralt asked.

Most people could tell one's rank simply by glancing at them. If they were unable to tell by looking at them, then it would be obvious when they fight.

A bronze user isn't entitled to any technique because their rank is too low to use any.

So why then was he asking when Kadori never used any technique?

"I'm a Bronze 2 ranked user. I don't have a technique yet," Kadori replied.

Geralt's eyes widened in shock after hearing Kadori's words. For a Bronze 2 to display such strength and move against a Gold 1 wasn't what people see every day.

Bronze-ranked students were expected to run and hide their faces when they see a higher rank.

But the case was different for Kadori. He stood up against the Gold 1 rank and still came out victorious."That's pretty awesome, I tell ya." Geralt remarked.

"I guess both of us would become buddies in the academy. In case if those high-ranked losers try to bully you, I'll be here."

Hearing Geralt's confident words, Kadori was curious to know just what rank he was.

-------------------_-----------_------

NAME: GERALT OSWALD

RANK: DIAMOND 1

CHAOS TECHNIQUE:???????

HP: ??????????

-------------------

As usual, a holographic screen appeared right above Geralt displaying his basic information.

Examining the screen, the first thing that caught Kadori's attention was Geralt's rank. Diamond 1.

Based on what he has seen so far, Geralt was the most powerful student on this plane. Even those students that were busy badmouthing Kadori and other lower ranks, their ranks didn't surpass Platinum 4.

But it was a rare thing to see such a high rank being so nice out of the blue. Except for Bjorn who was in Diamond 3 and never treated Kadori badly.

The second thing was his Chaos technique. While inspecting a student,Kadori hasn't seen anything like this.

The system would usually give the accurate information, but the case of Geralt was different. It didn't seem to know what his Chaos technique was, same as his Hp.

Kadori couldn't help but think Geralt was up to something and might just be playing nice to keep his plans running smoothly.

"Nice tattoo." Kadori commented, pointing towards Geralt's upper chest.

What looked like a falcon with a skeleton body was drawn there.

Complementing the tattoo, Bjorn quickly covered it with his shirt.

"Hehe, thank you." Bjorn replied.

Hours later, the plane landed and the students were asked to alight.

Stepping out of the plane, Kadori glanced around at the new environment.

It felt like they were in a whole new city entirely. Tall skyscrapers made of metal, the ground was also metal.

The night skies were filled with flying vehicles, while on the ground, people in black uniforms were patrolling here and there.

"Welcome to the Terminators base!" A man clad in the black uniform announced.

"This is where you will be spending the next 1 year!"

The students gave a round of applause as the man spoke.

"Follow our staff, and he will show you your dorm rooms. Once you are all settled in, lunch will be served and you will await further instructions!" The man announced.

The students began to follow the staff into the building.

Inside the building was well lit up by glowing Zen and anyone inside wouldn't even notice the darkness outside.

"The room can only fit three people. So we are giving you the opportunity to choose your own roommate." The staff said.

"Choose wisely, because that would be the person you would share the same room with for a whole year."

The students began to choose their roommates. The higher-ranked students, of course, paired with other higher-ranked, while the low-ranked had no other choice than to pair with their fellow lower rank.

"So, who should we add in as the third roomie?" Geralt asked, glancing around the crowd of students.

"Anybody would be okay." Kadori replied, unbothered. His goal in coming to the academy wasn't to make any friends, but to get stronger.

"Mind if I join?" A sweet lady's voice sounded from behind. Turning around, the two boys saw a gorgeous lady, long silver hair, and an attractive body heading towards them.

"Yukiko?"
