Chapter 54: War

The four Maous arrived at the Sitri Territory and was received by an empty land. Serafall called her father who immediately accepted it. "Father, I am going to test the durability of the barrier~!" Serafall said as Lord Sitri just gave his permission. He knew that Serafall couldn't do damage to the barrier so he just let her. "Now its okay~, Go all out and don't worry about the surroundings. Reya-chan would just fix it for us" Serafall said.

They were interested about the fixing thing but they put if off as they needed to test the barrier now. They started attacking it with everything they got, Sirzechs using PoD the same thing that could erase anything as long as its practiced. Ajuka tried to analyze the barrier to make a hole on it, or controlling the world around the place trying to destroy it. Falbium is... Just being Falbium. Nothing they did damaged the barrier, not even a dent has appeared on it.

They stopped when they felt that they couldn't damage this barrier, doing something that could exhaust their strength is just foolish. They saw Serafall calling someone for a second before the devastated land returned to its former glory. "What was that, Serafall?" Ajuka asked clearly interested in that process of returning the land to what it was.

"Hm? Ah that was just one of Sona-chan's servants, she handles information too well, that this is the result.." Ajuka immediately realized what she was talking about, so he got closer. "Does that mean, her control of information is too strong that she can alter it? Or maybe even erase it? Or perhaps she can just restore thing or.." Serafall stopped Ajuka who was asking too many questions. "Stop~! Ajuka-chan, this is not the time, you can ask about them later on" Ajuka realized that he was getting into it so he stopped.

They stared at the barrier before nodding their head. "Its decided, this will be the main battlefield. Serafall, please let us talk to your father" Sirzechs said as the other two stared at her. "Okay~!" Serafall teleported them inside the mansion where she saw that many servants was already waiting for them and was bowing their heads. ""Welcome, Lord Satans!"! They raised an eyebrow at that but just nodded their heads.

"Father~!" Serafall went to Lord Sitri's side before hugging him. "What can this old lord can do for you gentlemens?" Lord Sitri said while slightly bowing his head, the three still has a upper ranks than him, and he respected them for fighting in the front lines 5 centuries ago. Lord Sitri let them inside before they started talking about the problem that the devil race is currently facing. It didn't took long before Lord Sitri accepted their proposal.

Lord Sitri values the devil race as much as he valued his land, being selfish in this situation could do nothing. He just asked for a favor in exchange for using his land, which the three accepted with some thoughts. They left the land as Lord Sitri started informing his residents that they would be temporarily under Astaroth clan's residents. Some protested that they don't want to leave the Sitri land, but Lord Sitri shut them up when he mentioned returning them back after the war ended.

Lord Sitri teleported every household to Beelzebub's territory which is hard to enter because of Ajuka's many complex barrier surrounding it. The Sitri Clan is now deserted except for the mansion of Lord Sitri. "Father, what's happening?" Sona asked while Lord Sitri sighed. "War, Sona. There is gonna be war" Sona immediately turned his attention to her father, "Who's the enemies?" Sona asked as Lord Sitri closed his eyes. "Apparently, its the Greek Gods" Lord Sitri said making Sona widened her eyes.

"I'll fight father" Sona said with conviction on her voice making it hard for Lord Sitri to refuse her. "..What's your reason for participating, Sona?" He could only ask as Sona looked away with blush on her face. "This war.. is actually our fault, we were the one who destroyed Mount Olympus" Lord Sitri was slack jawed at that as he started massaging his head. "Did you kill many god there too?" Sona nodded her head with a shy face. Sona was ready to be reprimanded but was surprised when Lord Sitri suddenly embraced her.

"You've gotten strong Sona, you made me proud" Sona widened her eyes at Lord Sitri's words, before returning the hug. "Ara, they are bonding without me" Lady Sitri suddenly arrived and smiled at the two of them. It was decided that both Sitri's would participate since it was their daughter's fault.

Sona called her peerage, before asking Reya where the enemy is gonna attack. She sent them there until she was only one left in this place. She knew that the main fight would be held here so she is gonna participate on it, she would let her servants deal with the gods that are not in the battlefield so the damage would be at least lessen.

In the middle of Sitri Territory, two army could be seen facing each other. "I'm surprised that they accepted our proposal of using the Sitri Clan as a battleground, it would be troublesome to pit them until they have no choice but to come here" Sirzechs said as Ajuka nodded his head. "I guess they are too prideful to not confront the 'weak' devil race in face to face battle" Ajuka said. The tension in the air is making new warriors suffocate, but those war hardened are already used to this air, some even loved it.

"The 12 main gods aren't here? Oh there is Ares, but where are the others?" Sirzechs said as Ajuka started thinking of possibilities. "They are attacking other cities now. I can feel plenty of gods trying to break my barrier now" Ajuka said as Sirzechs called his father. It was confirmed that they are indeed being attacked.

"We already expected this so we left our peerage, but.. can they really handle them?" Sirzechs was worried about that, its not like he was not confident on his peerage but they were fighting multiple gods, that was already hard fight to win. A magic circle suddenly appeared on their side as Azazel emerged from it. "You probably don't need to worry about that" Azazel said making them tilt their heads.

"Why, Azazel?" Sirzechs asked, "Because Sona Sitri's peerage is already waiting in there" Azazel's words made them even more confused. "They are strong.. at least each of them is stronger than me or every gods that appeared in other places" Azazel said as they took this seriously. "When did they became that strong?" Ajuka asked, "Xander's work" Azazel merely said as they understood the situation. If their is something you can't understand then blame it to Xander. That is their motto.

"Are you sure you don't need mine and Michael's help?" Azazel asked as Sirzechs refused their help when they offered it. Sirzechs and Ajuka shook their heads making Azazel sigh. They turned their attentions when the Greek Gods suddenly released their aura's making the devil army shiver. The four Maous also flaunted their assuring the army, Ares suddenly screamed as every gods began moving.

Ares and his armies riding horses, sprinted towards the devil army while breaking several sound barrier. Ajuka didn't let them as he raised an barrier, Ares didn't take the barrier seriously as he just smashed on it using brute force. Everyone immediately entered the battlefield, as devils started retreating. The gods thought that they were scared so they grinned while chasing them.

Ares raised an javelin before throwing it at a Ultimate Class devil, the devil dodged and was about to counter, when the javelin still embedded on his shoulder putting a hole on it. Gods suddenly started massacring the devils until they entered the Sitri barrier. Ajuka started moving as he controlled the battlefield using his magic and made several disasters that damaged some gods. Every god needs thousand of devils just to kill one, so they brought a lot of them.

Serafall started moving as she used her ice magic freezing a bunch of god's armies. The gods stopped for a second before they turned red in wrath. "Kill her!" Ares said as he pointed at Serafall who was confused by this situation. She shook her head as she stared at Sirzechs erasing gods as if they were pebbles on the road, befitting of one of the top 10 strongest beings in the world. Serafall was suddenly surrounded by hundreds of thousands of enemies. They are just canon fodders for Serafall so she just made a block of ice then dropped it at them.

Only 7 of the 12 main Greek Gods are alive as the others were killed during the Destruction of Olympus. Only Ares is here as the others were attacking multiple locations the same time as this war is happening. When the devil race entered the city core's barrier, they felt power entering their bodies so they got excited and started destroying some armies of gods. Ares appeared beside Serafall then suddenly punched to her taking her by a surprise.

Serafall flew kilometers away as Ajuka tried to restrain Ares on his spot. Serafall stood up again while coughing blood, Gods can't really be underestimated. She wiped it before rushing to Ares and slapping him in the face while ice magic is on her hands. Ares got planted on a mountain and froze, he quickly used his divinity to broke the ice on his body.

While Sirzechs is plucking gods left and right easily, a call sudden appeared on his mind, he took it and his body suddenly started shaking. Ajuka saw that as he ordered every devil to enter the barrier, the gods tried to break in the barrier but was helpless when they couldn't even damage it using all of their powers. Ajuka made a barrier for himself as the ground kilometers away from Sirzechs suddenly vanished. Everything was erased on the spot.

Silence, a creepy silence emerged in the loud battlefield as only a few of Ares's armies survived. Ares stared at this dumbfounded, he never thought that his army would be destroyed just like this. No, erased would be the better term as nothing existed on Sirzechs's surroundings, even microorganism didn't survive from the annihilation.

ZIIING!!

The devils stared at Sirzechs with awe in their eyes, they finally saw the real strength of the current Lucifer. They saw how he erased the army of gods with just one move. Azazel stared at this while shaking his head. "They've done it now... Are they trying to destroy the world?" Only Azazel know about what's happening as he know just how Hades move.

Ares got enraged that his army was annihilated so he rushed towards Sirzechs who just look at him with calmness, but he can see inside his eyes that there are immense rage on it. Sirzechs waved his hand as Ares's body started collapsing. He tried to use his divinity to stop it but it was no use as Sirzechs is using half of his powers now. "N-No..!! I'll kill the Sitri before I die!!" Ares said as he poured all of his divinity on his javelin before throwing it at Serafall who got tanked the attack by stacking hundreds of ice wall infront of her.

BOOM!!!

63 ice walls were destroyed by the attacks as Ares finally vanished from existence. Upon seeing that Sirzechs immediately teleported from the battlefield as only ruins were left on it. The devils were about to celebrate when a human suddenly appeared. He got a crooked smile on his face as he said, "Phew, thank god that monster was finally out. Even my book couldn't handle his destruction" the man took out a book from nowhere and started reading it.

On Beelzebub territory, Poseidon was attacking the barrier, slowly crippling it out. He stopped when he sensed someone appearing on his view, he saw a girl wearing a uniform while katana was on her side. He raised an eyebrow wondering who this little girl is.

"Who are you?" Poseidon asked while looking at Tomoe bored, he also has an army he brought with him, among those army includes the Deep Ones. The Deep Ones are creatures underwater, they are ruled by Mother Hydra and Dagon that are said to be lesser Great Old Ones. They are immortal and like to mate with human to make hybrids.

Poseidon possess some Deep Ones on his army, "Old Man, you're not cute at all, just like your army" Tomoe said making Poseidon pissed as a mere mortal dare to diss him. Specially comparing him to his army of Human/Frog hybrid. Poseidon ordered some of his servants to get rid of the trash. 10 Deep Ones went to Tomoe but they suddenly stopped as their body was cut in half.

SHEATHE*

Tomoe return her katana to her sheathe while smiling. They still haven't received their weapons from Xander, as he was still making it now. Poseidon was starting to get irritated by this ant as he ordered more nuisances to kill Tomoe, but just like what happened they all died when they entered 20 meters from her range. Poseidon narrowed his eyes. '20 meters.. is her sword mastery that strong?' Poseidon thought.

Poseidon took his trident from somewhere before waving it towards the sky. The sky suddenly turned dark as a large storm arrived. This would make his domain bigger as every drop of water is his body, he threw his trident at Tomoe who tried to take it. 'Heavy..!' Tomoe thought as her arms started shaking.

THUNDER!!!

The sky was crying indicating Poseidon's emotion about this war. The trident returned as Tomoe was pushed 50 meters away from her spot. "Uwah, that was heavy, I guess.. I need to clean the place before playing with him right?" Tomoe said as she slowly inhaled a large amount of air, she closed her eyes before flashing like a thunder.

ZIING!!

Poseidon widened his eyes as he saw half of the army he bought was sliced in half. He immediately raised an water barrier to the other before Tomoe could get to them. Tomoe stopped when she almost hit a water barrier, she can feel that if she enter it her body would break. Poseidon finally started taking this seriously as he flew towards Tomoe breaking few sound barrier in the process.

Tomoe got ready as she clashed with Poseidon. Poseidon's strength was greater than Tomoe but her speed excelled him, she was putting pressure on him by cutting some parts of his body. Poseidon was enraged as he finally realized that this girl was one of the brats who humiliated their whole pantheon.

Poseidon thrusted his trident as a large earthquake occured disrupting Tomoe's balance. Poseidon is not only the God of Seas but also a God of Earthquakes. Poseidon took that chance and pierced Tomoe's shoulder making the girl grunt in pain. "Ah! That hurt!!" Tomoe screamed as she held her shoulder that has a small hole on it. While Tomoe was grunting one Deep Ones arrived and tried to hit her but she dodged as the fist entered the land destroying it.

Tomoe took a large breathe to calm herself. "I guess, I was playing too much?" Tomoe inhaled air as blood pumped on her arms, she made a technique that is not from Xander so she's going to try it now. "Thousand Slaying Slash!" The moment Tomoe said that the land suddenly changed.

CRACK!! CRACK!!

The earth was bisected as the land turned dust from the many slashes that Tomoe delivered. Only Poseidon was left as his eyes widened, if he didn't build a barrier last second then he might already be an dust now. The whole place was ravaged beyond words and the guts of the Deep Ones were flowing from their dead bodies. "Squirt!!" Poseidon screamed as he raised the power of his water and started flooding the land.

Tomoe was surprised when she suddenly sensed Poseidon's behind her, she immediately raised her katana but was blasted hundred meters away. She stood up but flew again as her body started to sustain injuries. She began analyzing what is happening until she got her answer as in the corner of her eyes she saw Poseidon's body forming from a droplet of the rain.

Tomoe used Sword Domain and slashed all droplets on her ranged as Poseidon lost his ability to exchanged place with water. He raised his arm as a Tsunami arrived and started ravaging the place it runned to. Tomoe took a long breathe. "I'm gonna end this" Tomoe said as Poseidon got angry at Tomoe's words. Mere human thinking that she could kill him?!

Poseidon raised his power to maximum as he added Earthquake on his trident making it glow. He pushed divine power on his arms making it buffed, he assume a thrusting stance as Tomoe also assumed Sasaki Kojirou's stance. "Haa!!!" Poseidon shouted as he released the attack the same time as Tomoe. "Tsubame Gaeshi!"

BOOM!! CRACK!!

A huge hole appeared in the Astaroth territory, while Poseidon lifted his head, "Cough.." blood spurted on his mouth as his body fell down being cut in his chest with X mark. Poseidon felt a dejavu by this, it seems like his parallel self experienced the same thing. He stared at Tomoe who is panting while smiling, he closed his eyes while muttering something. "Thank..you.. for the... challenge.." Poseidon's body turned light particles as it flew to the sky. Tomoe paid her respect by bowing her head a bit.
