Chapter 52

Extra chapter, to compensate for the last one.

In a dark room, creepy things can be found inside, horrendous paintings, jars with heads on it, a body that's been connected to various animals, and a magic circle made from bloods of various dangerous beings. There is a certain person mumbling some chant while bowing his head to the magic circle. He seems to be summoning something, as the look on the man's face is that of a fanatic believer. "Suhec.. Horsgo.. Dlkws.. Hbnah.. Ysenz" He kept repeating the same chant until darkness suddenly shrouded the room. An eye suddenly appeared while the man started trembling in fear and awe.

He didn't dare to turn his head towards the being in fear that he would turn insane, also he considered himself not worthy to stare at the beings figure. "I will spread madness in this world.. bestow me your strength" The man said as the being merely stared at the man with bored look on its eyes. It came here since it felt that this was the place where one of his kind appeared.

The being lost the presence of his kind, so his interest immediately got lost. Usually the moment a being like this appear in a simple world, everyone in the world would turn insane without exception. But since he's new to this world, his perception of reality was haywire.

It's powers were weakened to the point that it could only use 5% of it. It gained an idea, since it can feel some powerful beings in this world, it gave one ability to this ant. Although the man could only live for a few days since the power was too strong for the man's soul to handle. Great Red and Ophis were still busy in their feast to notice a weird entity with just a weak powers.

Xander opened his eyes, he stood up while looking at Sona. He saw that Sona's face became uncomfortable the moment he left her embrace so he placed an pillow on her arms to replace his body. Sona's face gradually relaxed as Xander smiled. Xander yawned while going downstairs. It was still early as only the servants were awake, Xander didn't bother them at their work as he walked to the kitchen. Xander just cooked as the people in the mansion slowly woke up, they gathered at the dining table where they ate before going to their own work.

Xander said his goodbyes to Sona as he teleported to his house at the Human Realm. Xander drove his car towards the one particular inn that he hasn't visited for a long time. Xander immediately went inside without knocking as he saw Misaki relaxing in the living room while watching something. He took a look at the T.V where he saw his movie playing, Misaki kept replaying scenes that was hard to do as she studied it seriously. "This is the most beautiful and most difficult animation I have ever seen.." Misaki muttered as she stared at the T.V seriously.

Misaki's serious demeanor wasn't something that Xander is used to, he made his presence known. "Misaki" Xander said as Misaki just froze before turning her head at him. "..Xander?! I thought you died!" Misaki immediately went to her previous bubbly personality as she started to clung on Xander. Xander just pushed her as he ask, "How is it?" Misaki started calming down before she answered seriously. "To be honest.. I never thought that Animation would reach this level, it was beautiful and complex beyond words.." Misaki started pointing out the parts of the movie while Xander just listened without interrupting her.

Misaki finished her explanation as she saw Xander smiling at her, she got embarrassed that she lost control so she immediately ran upstairs. "You came for Mashiron right? I'll get her!" Misaki said as Xander just chuckled. Seconds later Mashiro ran downstairs while looking for Xander, she saw him at the living room watching his movie. "..Xander!" Mashiro shouted as she lunged at Xander who just catched her. "Where have you been..?" Mashiro asked while Xander could only apologize as he knew just how long he didn't visit this place.

Xander ruffled her hair while talking, "I was busy with something important. I'm sorry that I didn't have time to visit you" Xander said as Shiina could only stare at him, "Hm.. let's see, how about a baumkuchen?" Xander said as he took a baumkuchen from his pocket, Mashiro's attention was drawn to it before she immediately shook her head. Xander saw that Mashiro didn't want to look like an easy girl so he said something that surprised the girl. "How about becoming my assistant? You could draw the background for my manga"

Mashiro immediately accepted it while also taking the baumkuchen from Xander's hands. They went to Mashiro's bedroom ignoring Misaki who could only sigh before walking back to the living room and started studying the animation again. Xander was surprised that Mashiro's room is clean, he remembered that Aoyama was currently taking care of her so this was just acceptable. Mashiro immediately took her tools before giving it to Xander who just sat on the chair before started drawing. Mashiro just waited while watching Xander do his work.

Mashiro was learning Xander's skill by imagining it as a picture before making a 3d scene on her head which she started drawing it. It didn't took a long time before Xander handed Mashiro the paper, he explained what place it is so that Mashiro would be able to imagine the thing she would draw. Mashiro immediately drew what Xander told her, their compatibility was so good that it looked like they were partners for years. They finished half of the 2nd volume before they stopped as Mashiro was already tired.

"Wait here, Mashiro" Xander said as he went downstairs to cook some food for Mashiro, she was working hard so a reward is needed. Xander isn't petty enough to ignore the child's stomach when it was already calling his name out. Xander returned to the room where he saw Mashiro staring at their work with fondness on her eyes. He smiled at her while giving Mashiro her portion of the meal, Xander didn't forget to cook some for Misaki too as that girl would throw a tantrum is she was excluded.

They were eating when Xander suddenly felt something trying to connect with his mind, he accepted the telepathy as Xander heard Sona's voice. "Xander, the Underworld is being attacked" Sona said as Xander immediately turned to Mashiro. "I'm sorry, Mashiro. A urgent business has occured, I'll come back tomorrow, I promise" Xander said as he gave Mashiro a bunch of baumkuchen's who just nodded her head. Xander went outside of Sakurasou before using his car to drive to an no camera place. He teleported to the Sitri Mansion where he saw Sona waiting for him along with Serafall.

"Xander! Something happened!" Serafall said as she went to Xander's face. Xander pushed Serafall's face, "Explain" Serafall nodded her head as she explained. "Earlier this morning, I received a news about someone with some rather disturbing powers attacking one of the major cities in this place"

"From what I heard, the person can use the life span of any being and used it as a powerful weapon" Serafall said as Xander raised an eyebrow, "If that was all, then wouldn't it be easy for you to defeat?" Serafall sighed at his words as she completed her explanation.

"The problem is, when I say he can take life span from any beings I mean 'Everything'. One Ultimate class devil went to confront the man but was left drained the moment he appeared on his eyes. Apparently he can took the lifespan of anyone he know and he can even use the magic power in that life span to make an invincible army of abominations" Serafall said as she remembered the freaky things she saw before. Xander's interest were drawn by that as he smiled at Sona. Sona got his intention as she also smiled, making Serafall scared because she can feel they were planning something dangerous.

Serafall went infront of them before raising her hands. "No can do! You won't confront that being!" Serafall said as the two looked at each other before nodding. "Don't worry, nee-sama. That thing is not a problem for us" Sona said as Serafall didn't backed down.

Sona has no choice but to use her magic, she raised her hand before releasing an ice on it. Serafall stared at the ice wide surprised expression, "So-tan.. you've became strong" Serafall said as she slowly lowered her hands, she knew that she was getting behind Sona in terms of ice mastery but she didn't expected that she would be surpass too soon.

"Serafall, I will protect your sister. Nothing can harm her as long as I am here" Xander said Serafall stared at him for a few seconds before nodding her head. "Please take care of Sona-chan, Xander" Serafall said as Xander just nodded his head before teleporting to the place where the man was rampaging.

They arrived and saw a hooded man laughing while hundred thousands of naked humans were surrounding him, the man as if sensing their arrivals smiled maniacally at them, "Hoh! Guest have arrived" The man said as Xander just sighed at this man.

Xander stared at the humans, he entered the Information Dimension and saw that they were made using the life span of the devils that the man consumed. Xander felt that they are strong.. strong enough to fight against Koneko in one on one fight, that was how strong those beings are. This is probably the reason why the devil's didn't send any reinforcement yet, something like this would only destroy every reinforcement they send, specially when the main enemy is stupidly broken.

"Sona, would you like to fight an army of strong humans?" Xander asked while giving a snarky grin at Sona. "This is probably the time to consider practicing my AOE abilities" Sona said also smiling while she started walking towards the crowd of naked humans. The humans felt that their god made an order so they immediately ran towards Sona, because of how fast they are the place they were standing are already full of holes.

Sona raised an eyebrow at their movement but started using normal ice, she waved her arm as thousands of humans suddenly froze, but a second later they broke from being frozen without any visible damage on their body.

Sona was amazed by their durability as she started to make it rain, a heavy downfall suddenly appeared as everyone being touched by the rain suddenly decayed or melted. Sona was even more surprised that instead of losing numbers, they were just standing up again, the huge amount of life force that was used to make them can be used as an regeneration.

Sona raised her foot before planting it on the ground, the movement made half of the naked human army stop as they all froze from the ice that appeared on the ground. Sona didn't hesitate before making every ice crack before they turned into just ice particles. Sona then remembered that she has a particular ability that can solve this things in just one use.

Sona took a long breathe before releasing it, the cold air that was released on her mouth froze the hundred of thousands naked humans in the battlefield, Sona then turned some of the ice into water before using 'Absorption' on them. She absorbed all of the life force of the army as they started falling immediately.

Sona suddenly felt a huge strength entering her, the person who made these things couldn't use the life force inside his body as it would place more burden on his mortal soul. Sona turned her attention towards Xander and the hooded man who just watched her performance.

After the show, the man finally turned to Xander with a maniac smile on his face. "I am a GOD! There is no one who can handle the power that was given on me" the man said.

Xander raised an eyebrow as he heard those words, "Can you tell me who gave your the powers?" Xander asked as the man just ignored him.

The man raised it hands before using 500 life span, he already absorb a lot of life force from the devils that he massacred before so this much is not a problem. He threw the life span at Xander's place.

BOOM!!!

A large explosion occured as the land where Xander was standing were devastated, the man smirk thinking that Xander was already dead before he saw him standing there with an interested look on his face. "You can use the life force do destroy things?" The man didn't reply as he used 1500 life span and use it again on Xander.

BOOM!!!

Another explosion occured as the man was about to sigh in relief when a kick was suddenly planted on his stomach. The kick penetrated through the his whole life force defense, punched straight through his guts and thoroughly destroying the organs underneath.

Sent flying by the impact, The man struck a building behind him, losing all senses of where he was. He was barely alive. He used some life span to regenerate his body, though because of losing his senses he can barely do it.

Xander stared at the man before saying. "You got some nice powers you possess, but it doesn't mean much when the user is a novice. You didn't know the limit of your ability, you just used it in a crude way" the man glared at Xander.

"It doesn't matter how strong your powers is when your physical is shabby. You have to build those fundamentals first" Xander shook his head.

The man hadn't seen his attack coming, he already used some life force to strengthen up his reaction speed in response to potential danger, but they have been all useless against Xander.

The man finally gained his senses as he used his powers to try take Xander's life span, but the moment he tried to do that, he immediately fell to the ground. Xander can feel danger to that power so he 'killed' him immediately. "Sigh, confronting enemies with conceptual abilities is really a hassle" Xander said while sighing. (A/N: That man can become a God of Life and Death with his abilities, too bad he met him)

Xander turned his attention to Sona who just watched the fight with observing eyes. "Did you like the show?" Xander asked while Sona just smiled. "Certainly. That was quite a good lesson" Sona said as they returned to Sitri Mansion with the fanatic man with them. Xander also needed to take care of the thing that gave this man its powers. This is his domain so anyone trying to play with this plane will die.

Sona also became so strong that her strength already surpass of that Serafall. She even took a large amount of Life Force just now, so her class should be Satan Class already. Xander just congratulated her before they arrived at the Sitri Mansion. "Xander! So-tan~!" What happened?" Serafall asked but immediately went stiff when she saw the rampaging man being dragged by Xander. "Here" Xander said while giving the man to Serafall.

Serafall poked the man a few times before confirming that is it really dead. Though she saw the huge foot print on its stomach as she wondered if it was the reason for its death. "Did you kick him to death?" Serafall asked while Xander just scratched the back of his head. "K-Kind of.." Sona just chuckled as knew what happened. "Thank you! I'll give this man to Ajuka-chan to let him study its power" Serafall said as she was about to teleport when Xander stopped her. "Its an Eldritch being's work" Xander said.

Serafall got serious as she nodded her head, she teleported to Ajuka's place while Xander started to stare at something in the air. His eyes didn't change nor he was using clairvoyance, he was just watching the being who did it. The being was hidden so well that even Great Red and Ophis didn't notice him.

Eldritch Horror's POV*

The abomination stared at last place where Xander was in this particular space. Within this space, things mixed together to create a truly chaotic vision. Multiple locations overlapped indicating where it was possible for it to interact with three-dimensional space.

It searched for Xander, a feat possible with its senses attuned to this additional dimension. It didn't took too much to find Xander. Warping space, it approached the appropriate coordinates by drawing its desired destination closer to itself. It found Xander there, conversing with the black haired girl.

The being has no interest in such worthless being, nonetheless it couldn't ignore it either. It stretched its hand? towards Xander. By erasing this person a lot of trouble would be avoided in its next victim.

But then their eyes met. The man was looking at the being without faltering.

That was impossible. There is no way an ant could see in this dimension. No matter where it look, from within this three-dimensional space, it was impossible to see someone in the Abyss. And yet it could tell that Xander was watching at him. "Impossible.. is that man also the same being as me..?"

The moment it wondered that, eyes appeared before him. Within this other dimension this being occupied, countless eyes suddenly opened all around him, as if they had been waiting there closed the entire time. The being instinctively understood that they belonged to Xander, allowing him to see even in this space.

And then it suddenly understood. Xander had only been letting it run free. This world, this alternate dimension was all a part of Xander. If Xander wished it, it would lose all of its freedom here. Thanks to the power it possess, the being recognized it in an instant. "So its really a higher dimension being huh..." the being started to panic.

No matter how it use its powers, the world would not bend. In this world where it should been able to swim freely, it had been frozen solid. It couldn't so much as move a finger now. "What are you doing! We are the same!" The thing said as Xander didn't replied, he just stared at him. The being suddenly felt all of his powers drained from him as it turned into a mortal. It widened it eyes? as it couldn't believe that there are other outers that could do that. It firmly believed that only those in Azathoth family tree could do something like that.

The being which now became a man that it disgust, could only scream in pain as he started to feel the pain on its weird body. The man caught a glimpsed on one of the eyes as he slowly turned insane. He was left there insane as he starved while watching the whole world move. That's the story of the being who tried to mess in this reality.
