27 Cat Woman

the next day soon came, and Sora and the others were up and ready to go to school. Mito already told him that Meat would start being lived tomorrow, Sora planned to have a ranch of some kind within his land, and it would be nice to have a fresh egg every day or something like that.

today was Tuesday, Sora spent the day teaching the students about fire and unique stuff about it... by teaching them, it meant he had an A.I. of a fire experts do the teaching while he with through the NerveGear, taking it apart and rebuilding it.

the students were not forced to listen, some spent their time simply working on their A.I., and others spent this time building something to go up against the fire guy they would face Friday, and the last group realized the A.i. was of some use and were listening.

"... this is impossible, I don't believe that anyone can come up with something like this within a week." James suddenly yelled as he jumped, catching everyone's attention. Sora who was working on his work lazily put the stuff down and sighed.

"I challenge you to build something, you and I will go and get items from the school and put it together, no Tv, or that chip in your ear. I don't believe you're not cheating somehow." James yelled making Sora smile slightly at this,

"Sir, I love a good challenge... hell, I will let you go get the stuff," Sora said lazily, James eyes narrowed before he looked at a few students, these students got up and followed him. but before they left, they made sure to remove all the tech on him, his earpiece, watch, and tv were all placed on the ground, and Sora simply waited.

a few minutes later, they returned with two buckets filled with trash tech junk. each bucket had the same thing, Sora and James stood at the edge of the table, and each had hours to put something together,

"If I win, you must give the whole class passing grades." He said calmly, Sora nodded slightly Peter stood at the side, and once he started the clock, James quickly began working, yet Sora just lazily looked at him.

meanwhile, back at Sora palace, Cat Woman jumped out of an invisible jet. She looked at the barrier slightly before nearing in disdain, tech was the easiest stuff to get by. when she neared the ground, the jetpack on her back allowed her to float and land on the ground next to the wall.

pulling out a screen, a screen to hack the barrier was already opened up. closing her eyes she let her luck take over as she randomly taped away, a few minutes later she heard the barrier make a weird sound. looking up, she saw the barrier disappears.

She jumped over the wall and began heading towards the palace, making sure the robots acting as guards didn't see her. but when she neared the door, she was confused, as there were no doors and seemly no windows for her to enter through

"This place is so peaceful." but at this time a door appeared which opened revealing poison ivy who walked out, seeing this she flash entering through the door before it could close. Ivy was confused and turned to look behind her and saw nothing, shrugging she went on with her day.

back to Sora, the watch was shaking madly as Techno wanted to tell Sora what was happening, but his power was limited once Sora took him off. Sora was like the key which allowed him to affect the world, once Sora took the watch off, he couldn't do much.

Sora seeing, he only had 40 minutes left quickly got to work, he looked through the junk and took stuff that might be useful, there were computer parts, phone parts, car parts, radios, and other stuff.

Sora went on to quickly use these stuff and put together something that looked like a beam, Sora didn't bother to test it out, such tech of low grade disgusted him. once he was done, the time went off, and James stopped before looking at what Sora had created.

"what's that?" He asked seeing the trashy-looking toy gun in Sora's hands, to say the least, he was shocked that Sora managed to finish his so fast. meanwhile, he had not yet finished with his,

"It's called the radio wave beam," Sora said lazily as he pointed at his creation and shot a radio wave beam at it, it was invisible, but the next moment his creation was destroyed. Sora lazily through his toy gun to the ground

"You seem to have known what was within the box, I guess you stayed and went through it while making your plan. explain why the two-box seemed to have the same amount of stuff within. you put together a plan to show me that what I want you all to do is impossible..." Sora said lazily while looking at James who had his head lowered,

"You get an E. You will not always be smarter than your enemy, or stronger. but that's ok. you don't target your enemy's targets, but their weaknesses. if they don't have it, make one. your grade would have been higher if you took the time to put together the parts and knew what to do ahead of time before challenging. remember, you fight with your dreams. rarely should you physically clash with someone, or your brains clash with them. find a way around their attacks and use their powers against them. now, return to class." Sora said as he clapped his hands, the tv shot up and attached itself to the wall

Sora held his hand out, and his hands flew up and wrapped themselves around his arm. at the same time, his earpiece went on and attached itself to his arm.

"Someone broke into the palace," Techno said quickly as he instantly put the palace barrier up, Sora eyebrow raised hearing this, things seemed to be getting interesting.

"Show me," Sora said calmly, a screen appeared before Sora, and he saw someone falling from something invisible. Sora wanted to see the person's face, but a cloud luckily blocked her body, so Sora could only see a blur.

when it seemed like she was going to fall out of the range of the cloud, she fell into another cloud that kept clocking her. stuff kept getting in the way of not just this camera, but all of them, from a fly, birds, leaves, and random stuff like bags that suddenly appeared, all of this made Sora speechless.

"This person is lucky," Sora said softly, what were the chances of something like this happening, he should improve his cameras. this weakness was a bit too much.

soon the person landed on the ground and went on to tap stuff away. Sora looked at the screen which showed her phone only. she put in the gold to disable the barrier... hell, he forgot the code and he was the one who put the thing up. who was this person,

'to think there is someone out there who could hack me.' Sora thought in shock as he watched this personally, skillfully stepping into the trees to hide from the camera, she was too skilled, it was like she knew every weakness Sora had.

'Iron Bat? someone from the future. it must have something to do with time travel, otherwise, how would someone get this far? the travels just now appear, Iron Bat didn't even get a chance to see those blind spots or see where the cameras are at.' Sora thought as he frowned and deepened

'Who would come back in time for me, did someone from the future realize something about me and came back to try and kill me or something.' Sora thought as he watched the person perfectly time Poison Ivy leaving the house and for her to enter. who else could do this but a time traveler?

Sora watched the shadow enter his house and quickly began moving around searching the place, soon the shadow came upon some food that was leftovers. The shadow took one of the foods and was about to go on with its day but stopped upon tasting how good the food was. so, it of course took everything and rushed off.

minutes passed and it soon stumbled upon a Sora workspace, filled with some stuff Sora was working on, and Bio work Sora was working on from last night. it walked over and saw a paper of notes Sora had made, after some time going through it, it found that it didn't understand a thing, so it stored it away.

it took the earpiece Sora was playing around with, thinking of how he would improve it, and a few other stuff, from the skin Sora had created, wanting to create skin harder than steel, and other stuff. she placed some papers around the place, some being plans for children trafficking, and other crazy stuff

Sora was speechless seeing all of this play through, but he saw that Ivy was back inside, and seeing the food she left on the table gone she was enraged. easily guessing it was Risa, she rushed up to Risa's room, just as the shadow flash past her, shooting through the door which was about to close

"Do a planetary scan and find that person along with my stuff. putting plans to build a time machine, and something to protect one from the effect of time travel," Sora said calmly as he looked at everyone who was looking at the thing he was looking at.

"What? Have you never seen someone breaking into a palace? newbs." Sora said with a sneer, enraging the students, but Sora left before they could say anything he hopped into his car, and it disappeared,

it appeared within a Jet, where Lex was currently going through Cat Woman's funds, meanwhile, Cat woman was counting her moan. but they both froze when a car suddenly appeared, as Sora stepped out of the car, Lex and Cat Woman quickly jumped up, not expecting to see him suddenly appear.

the next moment, Lex got a car, answering he found that it was someone telling him that Sora left the school building after seeing videos of everything going down. the image Sora saw only took a few seconds as only important stuff was shown, in all, 45 seconds passed between Sora watching the video and him suddenly appearing here

"Oh, luck... here I was thinking someone time travel from the future and stuff. that would have been more fun, to be honest." Sora said with a smile while looking at Cat Woman, who had a slight frown, things didn't seem right. Sora shouldn't have been able to find her because of her luck.

Sure, she was lucky, but she wasn't so lucky that things would always go her way. If She suddenly destroys the earth, she will die. her luck only increases the chances of things going her way by a lot, but what are the chances of her going against Sora? it was almost 0%.

everything went her way so far, from James suddenly challenging Sora to Sora taking off his stuff, and even the stuff which took place at the palace. pure luck, what are the chances of all of that happening? 1% 5% or higher, well, she brought it to 99%,

meanwhile, the chances of her escaping from Sora or hiding from Sora or Techno Tracking who had an eye on her the whole time.... 0.00...01% chance of that happening, even with her luck playing it, that only bought that up slightly, she could, of course, steal luck to increase this, but the luck she steals would return to her normal level of luck.

"Well, you want to win so bad that you hired someone, if not the best to break into my place and steal and put false fails into my place. Lex, that's not a bad idea. you want to beat someone better than you, you have to play dirty." Sora said with a smile, enraging Lex who pulled out a gun

"I can just kill you now and end everything you stand for." He said coldly, Sora eyebrow raised slightly,

"Are you dumb, you think I just came here without any form of protection whatsoever, you think I would just come into the enemy ship, and talk so fearless with nothing? and you're the smartest man?" Sora's eyes with a raised eyebrow, making Cat Woman laugh slightly, Sora looked towards her and noticed she had neared the opening of the jet.

seeing Sora looking at her, she winked slightly, the next moment, Next shot the gun at her, but he missed and shot some wires. the next moment, the jet door shot open, and she was sent flying.

"I can still kill her. I found her within an hour, I will find her again," Lex said coldly as he looked towards Sora who was looking towards the door. she luckily didn't do anything Sora could copy, such as kill, Sora could luckily fall into the arms of ladies

'Wait, shouldn't I be lucky? I should also copy luck right? then again, things do seem to go my way, I will go play some games based purely on luck.' Sora thought with a smile, but a sound of a gun being fired sounded, pulling Sora's attention back

he looked around and saw a bullet laying there, he picked it up, but a hologram layer of skin appeared to protect his hand from the head.

"You have powers?" Lex asked in shock, making Sora look at him speechlessly, how dumb was he?

"It's called auto protection dumb ass; my tech forms a shield to protect. your bottle didn't hit me, or else my human-made clothing would have a hole... sigh, I'm losing brain cells. give me my stuff and I will just leave. I disdain you to even report this to the police." Sora said with a look of pure disgust on his face.

Lex's body shook from his rage when he was ever disrespected like this, of course, he would jump to someone having powers after shooting them, and they table the bullet like Justice Man. he had of course realized Sora didn't get hit by the bullet when he realized Sora didn't have a mark on his clothing,

He wanted to pull out a stronger gun, but it would be too powerful and might destroy this yet, this gun was only strong enough to most damage the ship if hit the right spot, as it did with Cat woman.

So, the next best thing to do was use his powers. but before he could use his powers, he found he couldn't move an inch. Lex panicked, he felt like something was closely attached to his body, he tried to move, but Sora walked over to him and slapped his face slightly

"You ain't shit, and you will never be shit. so run to Justice Man, he will be the only one who would play with you. strength vs brains, meanwhile, with you, you're a dumb ass fighting brains." Sora said with absolute disdain filling his eyes, making Lex's eyes turn bloodshot

Sora sneered as he got his stuff back, and walked past Lex like he didn't exist, enraging him. once Sora entered the car, he had the invisible hologram holding Lex disappear while burning all of his clothing, why give him any face? Sora disappeared the next moment, leaving an enraged Lex who angrily punched the walls in his jet,

meanwhile, far away. a woman lazily walked through the streets, while looking behind her from time to time. but she soon noticed a car in front of her, which had drawn much attention. she quickly saw Sora who was lazily sitting within, and her heart skipped a beat.

"Come it," Sora said calmly, She hesitated slightly, she wanted to run, but this was the richest man alive, where should she run? Lex pretty much forced her into taking that mission, a 500 million, how could she pass such things up,

She entered the car, while on high guard. Sora who was drinking a soda lazily looked at her before nodding, indeed all heroes and villains were beauties.

"So, there are two ways this could go done. I lock you away in that prison on the moon, or we talk things out. if you do run away, I will not follow, but Lex will. so, what do you think?" Sora asked calmly, making her sigh softly.

"You think Lex could kill me if he tried? sure he is strong, but if try to hide what can he do?" She asked with a cocky smile, Sora looked at her before getting out of the car, she stood stepped out and was stunned to find she was at Sora's place.

"Follow me, and don't think you can break through my barrier this time by tapping stuff, I improved it to a point where it can't easily be broken through as you did," Sora said calmly, she was stunned for some time, she could run. but now where could she run; she didn't have her equipment as she hide it somewhere.

gritting her teeth, she followed after Sora and went on to enter a room, which turned into a therapist's room, she was speechless as Sora had her sit down, Sora sat down as a paper full of stuff appeared in his hands,

"So, your father was the best thief of his time... the pressure to be like him must have been grade. seeing as you never went to any school that could take you those skills, I'm guessing he training you to follow in his footsteps. form a child, you were already being trained to be a thief. it was built into who you are, and you seem to have tried. when you dated Iron bat, but the life of crime kept calling. but you turn once again towards good with you met Peter, but that only lasted a few months." Sora said softly, as he put the paper down.

"you're trying to change me or something? I'm not a hero. I'm a thief. Born a thief. Raised a thief. Will die a thief." She said with a sneer, Sora nodded slightly as the door opened, a butler opened the door and he brought in two drinks, the butler placed the drinks on the table before leaving,

"your whole thing is about stealing, why you do it, and simple to get down to it. you grew up with a unique mindset and some trauma... you grew up with the idea of always being the best, second best is never an option for you. but you took it too far, it all started when you were nearly raped, you killed a man in self-defense, and that's when your life took a turn for the dark." Sora said making her frown slightly

"you are skilled, and your power only makes it so you remain the best. but since you're the best, what are you doing now? at some point down the road, you didn't care about being the best and simply cared about being the best." Sora said with a smile while looking at her frown which was deepening. he got up and walked over to her with a hand

"You got me wrong, I'm not here to change you or anything of the kind. I want to take you in, and your love to steal stuff for something more meaningful. you're a thief but are you going to be a thief that steals for the better of mankind or a thief that steals for her selfish gains? no one said a thief has to be bad. I will accept you for who you all. you're perfect just the way you are. what do you say?" Sora said with a smile, stunning her as she didn't expect something like this to come from Sora. be it Iron Bat or Peter, they always wanted to change her, yet he was telling her she was perfect?

She hesitated, not knowing if she should trust him, but clearly, he was a hero, Peter's friend.... so he couldn't be a bad guy... right?

"You need not come to a conclusion right away, stay around my Palace and enjoy it. when you want to go home, walk up to the wars parked outside, they would take you where I picked you up." Sora said as he put his hand on her shoulder.

"This might be a huge chapter in your life, it would be foolish to run in without thinking," Sora said with a charming smile, but she suddenly cried as she pushed Sora away. stunning Sora, slightly

"Just s-shut up alright. you can't change me." She said in tears, but sora hugged her, stunning her, she quickly wanted to push this stranger away, but Sora said something which made her freeze

"no one is trying to change anyone here. you are not a villain or a hero, but a thief. you will not walk this journey alone, it's scary, and it can be hard, but you will find you're not alone. I will support you, so... what do you say. give it a try, you can give up whenever you want. I will never force you to do something you don't want to do. what matter here is what you want." Sora said softly, her body shaking for a moment before she hugged Sora.

Sora hugged her tighter, while demonic horns seemed to appear on his head. indeed, he had some heaven-shaking luck with the ladies.
