Cancer

Sora sat in a restaurant, next to a window, looking at the busy streets below him. He calmly drank some wine, while waiting for his meal to arrive.

"Your food sir." a waiter said respectfully as he placed the food on the table, Sora nodded slightly, before he looked towards the entrance, with a brown-haired woman entered. She unlike everyone here wasn't some dress or anything, but a special uniform that showed off her curves

"And I went out of my way to look nice," Sora said with a shake of his head, Anna didn't bother to answer as she sat down, a waiter stepped toward to offer her a drink, but she refused it on the spot.

"I picked a restaurant so we can eat while we talk, but if we can't do something so simple... this was a waste of time," Sora said with a shake of his head, clearly disappointed. Anna frowned slightly, and seeing Sora getting up and leave, she sighed softly

"Fine, but you must answer questions with you wearing this.." She said as she pulled out a glove, Sora looked at it for a moment before putting it on.

"Well, that's good, I already ordered your food... let's see, let's play a game, I ask a question then you ask a question. the games over when one of us fails to answer a question or lies." Sora said with a smile,

"How would you know if I'm lying?" She asked with a frown, Sora tapped his earpiece, and suddenly a screen appeared before Anna, showing her the beat of her heart, her mental state, and a few other stuff that made her shocked.

"I'm a man of my word, it honestly hurts to think that you would need to check my heart rate. people who lie are those who have something to hide or fear. I have none." Sora said with a smile Anna's eyes narrowed slightly, but she took a deep breath before she went on to take turns. but just as she was about to speak, her food arrives.

"Well, let's first eat... haven't eaten today," Sora said with a smile, Anna was annoyed, but the voice from her earpiece told her to play along, so she did just that.

"So, how long have you been working for S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Sora asked with a smile, veins popped on Anna's forehead, Sora could seemly easily get this information.

"Why are you asking if you can just hack into our system?" She said angrily, Sora looked at her in confusion.

"wouldn't that be rude of me to look into your matter without your approval first? just because you can doesn't mean you should," Sora said with a smile, as he cut the meat on the table before him like a truly noble and eat it.

"I have been in Shield for over 20 years now." She said softly, Sora nodded slightly,

"And you're second in command, surely you have a story to tell. what top-secret mission have you been on?" Sora asked eyes filled with interest, he was sitting before a spy, and he wanted to hear want dangerous mission she was on, something that forced her to the edge of death, but at the last minute, she pulled something off.

Anna bit her lips slightly as if she was a storyteller. but she took a deep breath and began letting one of the most dangerous missions she had been on.

about 5 years ago, she was on a top-secret mission, an evil organization known as hydra wanted to take over the world, and she had to enter their base and destroy them from the inside out, along with the widow, one of the two best spies they had.

Sora paid close attention, listening to their near-death experienced, and how they were forced to their limit, and everything seemed hopeless. how the two looked at each other thinking it might be tier last day alive... such detailed storytelling, this should be a movie or something.

so, as time went by the two just talked while eating. Anna at first was annoyed, but reliving the past, she remembered how hard it was for her to reach the level she was at. the many suicides mission she went on and managed to come out alive due to luck. Sora who seemed to truly enjoy these stories made her wants to go into more detail.

Sora asked many questions as well, wanting to know more, about how she felt when it seemed hopeless, and only come out on top. those feelings are something Sora truly wants to fear,

"... oh, I'm done eating, about the game." She said as she realized she had finished her wine, along with food. she quickly realized hours had passed, of them just talking, stunning her.

"Oh, you go first," Sora said with a smile, Anna took a deep breath before nodding.

"Do you have the infinite gauntlet?" She asked, getting straight to the point, Sora looked at her in confusion before shaking his head. he removed such knowledge of him having the gauntlet before coming here, it isn't lying if he doesn't know. he of course knows he had removed some memories, he could easily remove them if he wanted to at many moments he wishes

"I don't have it," Sora said with a shake of his head, stunning Anna as through her earpiece she was told he was not lying

"... you're not lying?" She asked in shock, Sora shook his head slightly hearing her words,

"it's my turn.... and let's talk fast so we don't give each other time to come up with a lie," Sora said with a smile before he went on to ask his question

"Can this be considered a date?" Sora asked with a smile, Anna's face darkened slightly, wasn't Sora dating Justice Girl?

"no... do you have superpowers of any kind, excluding your high-level intelligence," She asked to which Sora nodded slightly

"Yes... you were so lost just now, were you by chance enjoying the time here?" Sora asked with a smile, Anna's face darkened even more, and she answered without even a hint of hesitation

"Never... does this superpower have something to do with coping with other's power?" She asked with a frown, to which Sora shook his head. he also removed memories of what power he might have

"no... do you want to meet again and talk? next time just being you and me without anyone in your ear?" Sora asked with a smile as he got up, walked over to her side of the table, and reached a hand out

"I don't have time to waste like that." She said with a snort, she got up to leave, but Sora was quick, grabbing her hand and pulling her into his hands.

"You sold yourself life to protect this world... I want to buy your life back, in return Shield has an ally like myself." Sora said with a smile, stunning Anna to the point she forgot to push Sora back, she only snap into it when Sora held her closer.

"I cut your connection to the outside, this is your choice, I believe you know when to reach me. and it has to be your choice, not something for the greater good," Sora said as he lifted her chin gently, making her look him in the eyes. Anna just blanking looked at Sora,

no normal person would join Shield for no reason, Anna was one such person. she had a normal childhood, with a loving father and mother. but at the age of 3, she made the mistake of trying to help her mother cook, leading to a pan of hot boiling oil falling on her. yet her, mother jumped in the way blocking it.

all she remembered was her mother bursting into flames the next move, she pushed her way to keep her safe, while she on the other hand screamed her lungs out. the scene gave her nightmares for the longest, her mother screams hunted her for years,

she died that day, and her father just broke. the once loving father disappeared, being a person who threw himself into alcohol, but when there were no bottles, he lashed out at her, years like this went on, with her going up thinking she was worthless, trash which her mother foolishly saved.

She became a cold and troubled person, but one day she had enough of her father, she didn't want to be worthless, and her mother's death was not pointless. at least that's what she wanted to believe. She ran away and soon join the marines, where she quickly raised through the ranks before she caught the attention of someone,

She now looks back upon her past, with everything she had done with the many people she had saved being in the billions. she could smile knowing that her mother's death was not pointless, but instead lead to countless people living.

Anna opened her mouth slightly, wanting to refuse. she would not betray S.H.I.E.L.D., even if she went through the worst form of torture, but Sora wasn't asking her to betray it,

"Through the look in your eyes, I see pain, loss, and determination, whatever hurt you, you haven't healed from... yet you are determined to change it. that only makes you more beautiful and stronger." Sora said softly as he slowly brought his head down towards her, Anna was about to knock the hell out of Sora, but Sora didn't go for a kiss but went towards her ear

"Come by my place, I can have death give you closer," Sora said softly, Anna instantly froze hearing his words, she just froze not knowing what to say, or do at the moment. she only snapped out of it when Sora held her checks... not butt checks.

"If you are depressed, you are living in the Past. If you are anxious, living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the moment. I will help you start living in the moment," Sora said as he kissed her forehead, before walking off, at the same time, he allowed the era piece to connect to the outside world.

{you have a call from Mei.} his watch suddenly showed the hologram of Mei who was angrily walking back and forth in the kitchen. Anna who was explaining what had happened to the other end of her earpiece noticed Sora's watch and froze to look. the other end-of-the-era piece seemed to see this as well and went quiet

"Sigh, answer?" Sora said as he realized he forgot to cook,

"Where the hell are you? I didn't eat since morning," Mei yelled with was filled with endless hunger she felt sounded, catching everyone's attention who was not watching the scene already to look over.

"you're worried that I'm in hell?" Sora asked moved, the hologram of Mei's body shook before she slammed the phone onto the ground. but the next moment she panicked as she panicked up the phone. her cries soon sounded, this was her phone, she had made a whole list of all the shows to watch, manga to read, shows to watch, movies to watch, and things she wanted to do.

"I swear, I will make you pay," Mei yelled in tears, she didn't know if Sora could hear her, and she didn't care. that guy was just too hateful,

"Well, I should get going before death die from anger," Sora said with a smile as he waved at Anna and quickly left. Anna felt chills, how could someone talk like that to someone like death?

Sora quickly left the 5-star restaurant, leaving Anna to realize that she had to pay the bill before she left. Her eyes twitched slightly, but she took a deep breath and paid, telling herself Sora most likely had forgotten to pay. but seeing the bill was over 100k, she had to take a deep breath, Sora had ordered the most expensive stuff, clearly, Sora had things planned out.

meanwhile, Sora hopped into his car while waving at a seemly normal-looking truck, within the truck, Nick Fury the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. was looking seriously at Sora. to say the least, Nick Fury didn't think for a second Sora could be trusted.

"Take me home," Sora said as he remembered his head forgotten returned to him, and a look of shock appeared on his face. to think he forgot such stuff, this bought him great pain to think he gave Anna the wrong information. he sighed helplessly, but that was behind him. he was not some kind of liar or anything

"How do you plan on facing those infinitely greater than yourself?" Techno asked while the saw shot through the sky, Sora lazily looked out the window, before answering

"There is no such thing as Infinity, at least that's what I believe. infinity is ever-increasing. this would go for the universe, it says it's infinite, but one can reach the end of it, and simply end up on the opposite side of the universe." Sora said calmly

"There are many theories, but my power follows this logic. although there is the theory that infinity exists everywhere, the number between 1 to 2, and so on. the difference between two people, and so on, it's infinite yet it's too small to be noticed. the thing about the first and second dimensions is that we're infinitely stronger than him, but we can even sense them. just comprehend their existence." Sora said calmly

"... what is the 4th dimension? is it true that it would make one exist across all of them?" Techno asked, to which Sora shook his head

"The first dimension is a line. the 2nd dimension is a 2d object. and the 3rd dimension is a 3rd object. as you see, it's a pattern, time plays no role in this. the 4th dimension is simply..." Sora went quiet as he tried to find a way to explain it.

"We of the 3rd dimension can move things up, down, right, left, side to side, and everything in between. a 4th-dimensional being would be able to do all that but move things into different spacetimes. moving between space, layers of space. I believe 360 visions should be normal for them and being able to see into other spaces should be something that comes naturally for them. maybe even seeing through stuff. at least that's my theory." Sora said calmly,

"You believe each dimension has some kind of addition to space? you pretty much saying each dimension gives a person more freedom to space-time. the first dimension can only move side to side, the second dimension can only move up, down, and side to side, we can move in 6 directions, and the 4th would have 7th or 8th, and the 5th dimension would have even more?" Techno said in shock, to which Sora shrugged

"How should I know, I've never been there," Sora said as the car landed at a store, where he went to buy a few things, before he quickly went house, he went home and saw Mei laying on the ground, like a dead dog. upon hearing the door open, her head shot up, and instantly locked eyes with Sora. but she had no power to lash out in anger, she only began crying

"Sigh, I will fix your phone later," Sora said with a shake of his head, Mei hearing this nodded slightly as he whipped the tears from her eye. She sat up, and just watched Sora cook, her stomach seemly hugging her bones.

"So, I know your death and all... but with the time you been hone, you don't get why people cling to life?" Sora asked with a smile,

"... it's just the stuff big company creates to take your money that's worth living and even then it's sad. you mortals all should just jump off a cliff, and fall into my welcoming arms, you need to work, no hunger, and you would be at peace" She said with a snort, Sora sighed softly as he turned to look at her.

quickly fishing for the food, Sora bought it to the table where she quickly sat down and begin eating.

"Someone might be stopping by to see if you can bring the soul of someone she cares for, want to do that for me," Sora asked, making Mei freeze in her eating

"you're such a pig, now you want me to help you expand your harem? and to even use the dead, shameless." She said in disgust

"At least I don't play someone who only ever wanted to me love, making him go crazy to slaughter all life in the universe," Sora said calmly,

"I do it to bring upon the end, every universe has to die, can you stand there and say that nothing should die, and everything should exist forever?" She said as she angrily stood up as slammed the table

"That sounds like a question you asked yourself. and that makes me curious, is to an act," Sora asked as he flashed, appearing before her, and held her child. Death shrugged to break free, but she was powerless, so she just stopped struggling and hatefully looked at Sora

"I want to know... if we had a child, and started our own family, would you still take the child you birth, that you took care of, loved you, smiled upon seeing you, cry when you leave...." Sora asked softly, Death froze slightly hearing that question. Sora let her go seeing her fall into deep thought. but she was snapped out of it when Sora rubbed her head.

"you're important, everything needs an ending. your job is the hardest, but you're going about it the wrong way. as you said, you will claim everything one day, why rush it when you can enjoy the journey? why rush things now, when you can seat down and enjoy a good meal?" Sora asked stunning Death, she faced this question before, but it was strangely different coming from Sora.

"There will be an end, nothing truly exists forever, so what not enjoy what living before its time arrives?" Sora asked softly, as he wrapped his hands around her. Death froze for a moment before she angrily pushed Sora away,

"Get your disgusting pig hands off me, there is a special place in hell waiting for pigs like you." She said in disgust. to think she was almost moved by this pig's words,

"You arranged a special place in hell just for me so you can easily find me? oh, Death, I think I'm in love." Sora said almost in tears at how sweet this woman is, he reached out to hug her, but Death quickly dodged and ran away

"I'm willing to make a deal with the king of hell to make you suffer, just wait." She yelled angrily, Sora was almost bought to tears

"You want to make the king of hell give me special treatment, that's so sweet. I might marry you right here and now," Sora said as he grabbed a tease, wiping away the invisible tears. Death gritted her teeth in rage, looking at the closest thing she can use as a weapon, she was a pencil.

Picking up the pencil, she will kill him... but she had good self-control. She needs this pig for her plans, she took a deep breath, calming herself down. but she turned away to avoid looking at Sora, she realized Sora was doing something

"That's my food," She said with bloodshot eyes, Sora who was about to take a bite looked at her for a second before he was hit with a realization.

"you're right, how knows what illness someone who sleeps in their pee has," Sora said as he realized he was holding Mei's spoon. suddenly Sora heard something crack, Mei's flesh began cracking, her eyes bloodshot, with an aura of death coming off her

"f-fuck this... fuck this planet... fuck the rules." She said as she reached out, watching to rip off her flesh and break this stupid flesh, but before she could fully, something entered her mouth. she instantly froze as she watched the spoon which was in her food. her rage died out, tasting the food, it was too good for her to remain angrily

"who's a good girl?" Sora asked while patting her head, Mei smiled slightly,

"I am.... fuck you." Mei exploded in anger, but just as she roared in rage, she felt something cold, yet sweet entering her mouth, she froze as if she never eats anything like this. she quickly noticed the ice cream in Sora's hands

"... this is ice cream?" She asked in interest, to which Sora nodded as he gave her it. Mei quickly took it, and eat, but the next moment, she cried in pain as she held her head.

"It seemed as if you cooled down... I knew this would help you chill out." Sora said with a smile, Mei's pain only grew, Sora's puns hurt more than the brain freeze. Sora laughed seeing this, but he had a long night ahead of him, he left her alone and went to get ready as he needed to cure cancer, and now fix her phone,

So, he went down to the basement, where he went on to test himself on a lab made from his holograms.

"what's this? why is my cancer different from this morning?" Sora asked with a frown while looking at a screen that showed his condition.

"It seems like due to the many things you copied... you can't say you're human anymore, you can even copy races and stuff and add them to yourself... your cancer had evolved and adapted. you have 10 years to live." Techno said softly,

"Well, a challenge... I was not asking for it, this is just fucked, but power givers its user cancer?" Sora said almost in tears, he had to cure this quickly, if he were to have something like immortality that could fight his cancer, he might become a second Deadpool, and look like someone turned his skin inside and out and just left it that way and then got into a house fire. he would look like Freddy Krueger Face Fucked a graphical map of Utah.
