5 A challenge

"We were defeated... badly." The Racer said softly while looking at the giant screen which showed their battle. Justice Man sat on a chair, and slowly pulled green things out of his body, Justice girl was doing the same.

"He knew a bit... too much, even my weaknesses." Justice Man said softly while looking at the green crystal like a rock. these things were kryptonite, he and Justice girl were not humans. they were from another planet that was destroyed long ago.

He and his race could absorb solar energy to have their power, unlike superpowers which all had random abilities upon weakening, their race all had the same abilities. super strength, super durability, super senses, super speed, flight, super vision, super breath, and so many other unique things.

Justice Man was strong enough to endure a full-powered punch from Thanos using the power stone, such a thing was incredible as Justice Man was sent flying at a speed nearing the speed of night, he even had enough strength to lower his speed So he wouldn't fly through the planet.

yet Thanos was more capable than most people believed, he had suddenly pulled out of every weakness. The Racer's weakness was that his power was most useful when on the ground, so he simply controlled gravity to have the racer become useless

Amazonian Woman didn't have any super durability, any pointy thing can stab through her, and a bullet is enough to kill her. luckily, she had super senses, allowing her to react to all types of danger, but right now she was in the blink of death as she was stabbed through the chest

"Who is he... he easily took the gauntlet yet gave it back and left." Justice woman said after seeing her injuries slowly begin healing once they threw the kryptonite far away. Iron Bat who was tapping the screen to find information on the hero soon spoke.

"His name is the Beam Master; he is a low-grade hero who can shoot beams at any part of his arms... but he showed a few different abilities, such as spider-man web shooting ability, and the Sage ability in usage in magic. I had my drones fly around where he was first seen and saw found that he was killed and was butt naked. someone stole his superhero outfit," Iron Bat said calmly as everyone's eyebrow raised.

"... he is a skilled killer. took him out before he knew what hit him. and skillfully took off his clothing before putting it on. he is most likely a type of assassin... I will be looking through everything that happened in New York to find any bites of his traces. someone with the ability to most likely copy other abilities is on the street, so be on guard" Iron Bat said softly

"Should he be giving him more attention than Thanos who took the 2-infinity stones?" The racer asked softly. everyone looked at Iron Bat, waiting for him to speak.

"It's simple. we have someone on our hands who is a skilled killer, with the ability to most likely copy other abilities, at the same time he held the infinity gauntlet... ignore its power and simply walked away, and even threw it at Thanos." Iron Bat said calmly

"This tells a few things, he thinks it's too easy. it tells me that he is confident within his own power, telling me that if given the chance, then maybe he would rival the likes of the infinity stones. I may be wrong, but I should get down to the bottom of this. plus, we know where Thanos would be heading," Iron bat said calmly as he tapped something on his wrist, he looked at everyone for a moment before he disappeared

within Africa, within a city that was locked away from the world. this city had tech, which was years above the outside world, but at the moment its building was destroyed. this was where Iron bat had hidden the robot which held mind stone... but he had filed

"Ashly. you need not work yourself. just sit back and relax. allow me to cook." Sora said with a smile while he got ready to cook something. Ashly was Kara's elder sister, although a normal human, she was a strong woman... Sora found out she was living a secret life when he copied her, she was more flexible, and had learned countless martial arts, all for easily taking out an enemy or killing them as quickly as she could.

"you're a quest, it would be wrong if I just let you do such a thing," Ashly said with a gentle smile, but Sora was not taking a step back, at most she could only watch. but as she went on to watch, her eyes widen as Sora showed her cooking skills. it was art, and the smell it gave off was like nothing she had ever smiled before.

"So, what do you do for a living?" Ashly asked trying to make some small talk, Sora eyebrow raised slightly before smiling.

"Well, it's simple. I have always wanted to be a reporter, and not too long-ago Justice Girl took me to jail. after I got out, I took the chance to follow my dreams, targeting superheroes. your sister was not so good had to hide the fact she was a superhero... it took me about 10 minutes to realize who she was." Sora said with a smile while shaking her head, Ashly nodded slightly while her eyes narrowed slightly

"No need to be on guard... by your physique, I can tell you're not normal as well. I did a small background check... so much of your stuff is highly guarded. so, it is clear you have a cool background, maybe you are a superhero. but I don't care about such things." Sora said with a smile as he turned to look at Ashly who had her eyes narrowed while looking at him.

"I will tell you straightforwardly... I don't like you, or do I trust you, if you hurt Kara..." She said coldly, Sora smiled slightly as he bought his face close to Ashly. Ashly didn't pull her head backward and simply looked at Sora. they stayed like this for a moment for Sora spoke

"The food is ready, sis," Sora said with a smile, Ashly's eyes narrowed slightly, but her eyes made a strange sound, destroying the aura she was giving off.

"Come, let's eat. I like you. I can't hate someone who wishes to protect their sister, but if you are so overprotective, I might be on guard. who knows if you would try and steal the love of my life from me." Sora said with a deep breath

"y-you." Ashly grabbed Sora's shirt angrily looking at Sora, Sora only laughed slightly at the action. but Ashly suddenly froze as someone flew in through the window. she froze slightly as Kara and I looked at each other.

"My hero in shining armor has come to save me, this woman suddenly broke into our home, and now is about to kill me," Sora said with a sigh, making Ashly's eye twitch slightly hearing Sora words,

"it's good you are safe," Kara said with a smile, ignoring Sora's words. she knew Sora for a short amount of time, but this time she realized Sora played around a lot.

"Haha, I saw battle. you got your ass handed to you, are you alright?" Sora asked with a raised eyebrow, Kara eyebrow raised slightly hearing Sora's words.

"What video?" Kara asked with a frown, Sora quickly pulled out his phone and showed them a video on WatchTube, the video of Beam master recording the video between earth heroes and Thanos, their mighty battle, and how it only ended in their defeat. Beam master was even acting like the announcer, bringing more life to the battle.

Kara and Ashly watched the video, it was edited to be only 10 minutes long as the whole battle was more than 40 minutes. currently, with only a few thousand views, it would soon reach a million as the day go on

"Thanos seems like the smart type, why wouldn't he just kill the heroes instead of leaving you all half defeated? it's not like I wanted it to happen or anything, but this isn't some cartoon where the villain makes some dumb moves like that... right?" Sora asked while eating the food, Kara was speechless while looking at Sora who was eating the food.

He saw her ass along with the other hero get their butts handed to him, and he didn't call to check in on her... but she realized that Sora had sent a bunch of messages to her, starting as light, only to grow slightly more worried. it seemed as if he was texting this while watching the video. making her smile slightly, who wouldn't be happy to know someone out there worried for them?

"He wants to kill 99.9% of all life within the universe, he didn't kill us as that's not how you give a gift to a lover. you don't give a gift to someone you love step by step; it would not have a huge impact on giving the whole thing. Thanos loves death, and death would love to see such a thing happen." Kara said with a deep sigh as she sat on the couch, before taking a plate and eating the food.

Sora nodded slightly and didn't say anything else. thinking for a moment, he got up and got ready to go back home. he had to get ready to move, plus he needed to search for his next target. reading the comments within his first video, many people had said they wanted him to start with the weaker hero and move on to the biggest hero

and the hero who had the most votes was Dragon Fist, a powerful c grade hero who was only a grade below the likes of Spider-Man. to say the least, Justice man and Justice Girl were grade S heroes,

the ranks went from F to S grade, and the higher the grade the Hero was, the better and more information they could across under their name. a grade S hero was high enough for the president himself to have to be respectful, as such hero could destroy cities or cause true damage to this world.

most people would ignore the D and below grade hero, but those new heroes who seemed to have a high potential were also voted.

"What are you planning on doing?" Kara asked as she felt something off with Sora, Sora rubbed his chin slightly before shrugging slightly

"I will go and find out who is the Dragon Fist, he will be the next person I will talk to," Sora said with a smile, Kara hearing his words pulled out her phone, and instantly found Sora's channel, her eyes twitched seeing the subscribers Sora had been over 10k and was increasing.

the first video was already over 32k and was also increasing. at this rate, Sora might take off with such a unique concept. of course, others tried to do what Sora was doing, but Sora was talking to the hero. not some fake talk, outright asking questions that most people would hesitate to ask. those burning questions most people would have, he asked them all

Kara tapped the video and went on to watch it slightly, but her eye twitched when she saw Sora jump off the roof to catch Spiderman's attention, she quickly turned towards Sora but saw Sora just close the door as he left the house.

"I'm dating a madman," Kara said as he watched a bit of the other video before turning it off when she saw it was boring.

"You can always dumb him... I don't see why you would date someone like him." Ashly said softly as she eats the food, clearly enjoying it, but she had a straight face like it was any normal food.

"don't say stuff like that... he is special, and you seem to like his cooking a lot," Kara said with a smile. Ashly snorted slightly and said nothing else. soon she got ready, and went on to go to work,

Sora went on to walk through the streets, watching the robots fixing the destroyed building all over the streets around him. it would take about a few hours for everything to be fixed, for the time being, the government and hero were doing their best to support the citizens.

sadly, not everyone survived. about 10,000 people had died, due to the fact the number was spread out, the impact was not that grade to many people. at the same time,15 heroes were recorded to have died,

Sora didn't care much about all of this. in truth, he was the most selfish thing to ever walk the face of this planet. he only ever truly cared for himself, greedy as a person be, while at the same time as bored as a person can be.

because of his boredom, he liked making things funnier, even if it might be harder because then he would struggle to gain something. all his life, everything was easy. he never struggled much for anything but within this world, he has some fun... while at the same time dating a bunch of hot heroes and villains. might as well build a harem... right?

only children choose, and although a child didn't like to choose, he wanted everything because he was greedy like that.

anyways, Sora turned home and threw himself into his phone. the next day, Sora moved into a new apartment building. he went on to go and build his computer there, with how smart he was, the computer he created some something not to be looked down upon. even Iron bat would be shocked,

for the remaining weeks, Sora's attention was mostly on the computer, but other than that he was also forced on finding out Dragon Fist's secret identity, it only took him about a day to find it, turns out that the Dragon Fist was quite rich, hacking through many cameras and slowly tracking his paths and movement, Sora was able to easily do all of this within a night

Sora also began plans to make his own A.I. it would be nice if his A.I. can do all of this for him without him not having to deal with it.

as for Justice Girl, she was busy. there was a reason why someone like her was single and even a virgin, she was always busy. leading to her past relationship falling apart, but since they were both busy these past few days, Sora spent most of the time at her place to eat... I mean cook for them, they seemed like a married coup, with Ashly being the 3rd wheel

Sora suddenly heard a knock coming from the door, getting up Sora went on to go open the door, and he saw two police standing before him.

"You mind answering some questions? not too far from here there was a brank Robby, seeing your past, and the fact you suddenly got enough money to buy this place, we would like to ask you some questions about all of this." The Cop said calmly, making Sora go blank for a moment.

behind him, Kara who was going through the computer Sora created interest was caught, she walked up and came to see what was happening.

"Really? after Justice Girl catches me, and we had a heart-to-heart speech, you think I would get a real job just to jump into becoming a villain? hell, I got a job and even interview villains. you think I will be a villain?" Sora asked, slightly hurt,

"Then explain you getting the money for this place." the police said calmly, Sora shrugged as he had them come in, and showed them his overpowered PC he built.

"Selling stuff like this, 5 years ahead of its time, tell me. but selling stuff like this, are you saying am not going to get enough money?" Sora asked with a prideful look, Kara's eyes rolled slightly, so what if this computer can rival the one within the justice league? to her it was nothing.

and yes, Sora did sell one of the PC he had built a few days back, he was not a liar. and he had gotten 200k from selling that thing, as to who he sold it to, it was none other than a criminal, a guy named Techno. a villain who once he gets his hands on almost any form of technology becomes extremely dangerous.

"So, what's up? any more stuff or what?" Sora asked lazily, the cops looked at each other for a moment, before they shook their heads. they said their goodbye and left heading off. Sora watched them leave before looking at Kara.

"What?" Sora asked with a confused look like Kara was looking at him deeply

"Who bought the PC?" Kara asked softly, Sora shrugged as he explained who he sold it to Techno, making Kara freeze

"You know with those powerful pressures... he is a villain he goes to cause chaos; you should have sold it to someone like him," Kara said in hurry, Sora looked at her in confusion.

"Why? am I not to sell things to people that want them because they are villains? is that not discrimination? plus, he did nothing wrong, all he wanted was to buy the PC, he seemed nice to hold people down because of the sins of their past... and even if he does do something bad, I made sure to instant a few things thing into the PC" Sora asked confused, making Kara open and close her mouth, not knowing how she could reply.

"Plus, he hasn't acted up, so maybe he had changed, give the guy a chance," Sora said with a smile, Kara rolled her eyes slightly, she needed to go report this and let everyone be on guard against techno's next move, so she left.

as soon as she left, Sora tapped the watch he was wearing. suddenly the watch showed a hologram of a robot-like humanoid, looking angrily at Sora.

"Sigh, still not knowing your place? Techno, why can't you just be a loyal A.I. for me?" Sora said hurt, all he did was forcefully have him sucked into a chip once he tried to fuse with the PC. after which, he took the crip and stored this guy into his watch.

sure, he took away his free will and was forcing him to be something like a slave to him... but that didn't mean they couldn't be friends.

"Why must you hate, forget the past and look towards the future... living in hatred is not living at all. so, learn to love." Sora said as if he was in the right here.

"Go to hell, you funny bitch. once I break free, I will kill you." Techno yelled angrily; Sora was hurt seeing his words. almost bring him to tears, unable to take the pain, he closed the catch, sealing Techno within a dark space where he could do absolutely nothing, a fate worse than death.

"Well, my A.I. would be perfect... unless I find a cloning ability, which would allow my clone to become the A.i," Sora said softly, but he shook his head, that was too easy, it would be fun to try and make someone loyal to him, that's a challenge.
