Chapter 28: The Arbella Cultivation Dojo

-EARTH-

-Week 5, Day 31/Tuesday, Mayort City-

-Time: 3:23 A.M.-

After leaving Nivril's dorm room, Sasha went straight home and got ready for the day ahead, from taking a much-needed bath, and blushing her teeth to a necessary skincare routine, and handling the nightmare that is hair. Finally, she put on her green Dojo uniform and a yellow bracelet with the Dojo's symbol and name.

Once that was all done, she had a quick breakfast and then checked herself in the mirror to make sure it was all fine and she had properly tidied up.

At around 7 A.M., she finally left her apartment and went to her cultivation Dojo. The Arbella Cultivation Dojo is the ninth-ranked Dojo in the whole city, out of tens of them. It was something she joined after finishing high school, last year.

This experience was for her a new start and a decision that she solidified, and kept close to her after the person she believed would always be by her side left without a word. Nivril had gone and taken the scholarship program he was offered, leaving her behind, no goodbye just silence.

An experience that did not go well for her when it first happened, and both Dramil and her mother were there to witness the fall, she was stuck in her room for 3 months and even threatened Dramil with a knife on a few occasions so he would tell her where Nivril had gone, and most importantly why he left her behind.

The spiral was radical and for a long time she could not understand why it happened, falling into the trap of questioning her every action and trying to find her mistake, the point that pushed him away from her, however, she never quite found something that fully made sense changing her conclusion every week trying to blame something, anything.

That was not the end for her, but rather a new beginning, after the first 3 months of instability, self-doubt, and pain, she came to a final conclusion.

"I lost him… I lost him cause I was not good enough for him. Even after everything he did for me, I pushed him away… He didn't forgive me! Of course he didn't, I was the worst, the absolute worst! I need to become better… Maybe then, he would come back…" She was lost and didn't know what to do from then, her life had changed drastically after she met Nivril and he had become her pillar, so once he left, she had nothing to support herself.

Most would think that hitting such a low would be the end, however, more often than not it's exactly what's needed for a new start. These people just tend to need a bit of push to get started.

And that's when Dramil came and invited her to go through the Arbella Cultivation Dojo's entrance exam, for the chance of becoming cultivators more than just the common folk. It was something akin to becoming a celebrity just in a much more tangible way.

They did, and Sasha was made for this, she had a natural talent and instincts for it, passing with flying colors, taking her first step into her path to cultivation.

Unfortunately, Dramil was not as lucky, having what it takes in but none of the talent to back it up, he was in essence a crippled genius of cultivation, one who would never be more than a mortal, or at least that was the conclusion.

This made him leave that scene and plunge deeper into the nightlife, losing contact with Sasha once more, even when she tried to find him, she could not for a long time.

Even then, Sasha didn't stop, no, she was not going to use anyone else as her pillar anymore, she was now strong enough to stand on her own two feet or at least she was working towards that.

The power to be a cultivator of the world where the strong eat the weak, that type of dog eat-dog world, didn't scare her, she thought she would have been terrified of something like that, but no, this was exactly what she needed the freedom she craved, the power to be her own person without needing to rely on anyone.

In this world, she would climb to the top and carve her place in history for all to see. Entering the world of cultivation told her the thing she had never known, but now she held high and proud, she was going to be a legend.

The path she chose for such a monumental task was to become the master of her own dojo, sect, or clan. Whatever it would be called in the future, she would be the best at it.

To this goal, due has not missed a single day of training or lesson at the Arbella Cultivation Dojo, and today was no different as she made her way there, ready for what was to come.

Going into the big sanctuary-like facility with a grand look to it, she entered the Dojo and was greeted with the dummy training area, where a bunch of the outer disciples were punching dummies as part of their training routine.

Following the rule of might, those with more talent or more merit would be separated from the rest, which caused organizations with cultivators to divide the hierarchy into 5 main ranks of the disciple.

The outer disciples only get basic training, low mortal tier techniques, and have to do the chores of the dojo for it, getting very few contribution points they can use to rise.

Next in line are the inner disciples, who get actual training, up-to-mid-earth-tier techniques, and Martial Apprentice Realm cultivation, as well as a decent basic salary, resources, and contribution points.

Followed by the core disciples, who get intense training, up to low sky-tier techniques, and Lesser-tier Martial Fighter Realm cultivation, as well as a great salary, resources, and contribution points.

Then we have the Chosen disciples, who were selected by the elders to be personally trained by them, getting them access to extreme training, up to high sky-tier techniques, and High-tier Martial Fighter Realm cultivation, as well as a high salary, resources, and contribution points.

Lastly, there are the Inheritor disciples, who are the ones trained by the Leader of the organization to be the next in line, though typically only one of them takes the position and the others become grand elders. This gives them, up to Mid Heaven-tier techniques, and Mid-tier Martial Warrior Realm cultivation, as well as an extensive salary, resources, and contribution points.

Just like it was the structure for the Arbella Cultivation Dojo specifically, a similar arrangement was the case for the majority of cultivation-based organizations and their hierarchies. Most Leaders of such organizations are somewhere in the Martial Master Realm.

The power of countries being one realm above in the Martial Saint Realm, as the pinnacle of the world. Every country needs to have at least one such individual to stand in this world or they will fall to another.

All of them trying to reach the real pinnacle of the world in the now so mythical Martial Living God Realm.

In all of this, Sasha who was in the mid-tier 5th Layer of the Martial Apprentice Realm cultivation is still an inner disciple and has a long way to go before she can get anywhere near her goal.

She walked passed the outer Dojo area, attracting the attention of many of her fellow disciples as she passed through.

"Hey, like it's her… man, I still can't believe she just went from slim to thick like that… Body cultivation is such a cheat…"

"Tell me about it, she's such a catch now, it's a pity outer disciples like us have no chance."

"Honestly I think she was so much better before, I don't get people's love for thickness at all. The slim physique is the superior one."

"Shut up, you just don't know anything. You've spewed enough blasphemy."

"You guys really want to die, talking about the Thug Queen so casually, don't you know she castrated the last dude to do that?"

"Holy!…."

"My descendants?… Nope, I'll just shut up."

"I heard she has a boyfriend anyway. I hope the lucky bastard burns in hell with the worst pain!"

"So real, man… It should have been me, not some bum. What martial faction does he even belong to?"

"I don't know, but I heard rumors it's a rogue mortal, but there's no way! When I'm right here? It's-"

*Bam* *Crack.*

As the young men wearing the various colored outer dojo uniforms with the Dojo's outer disciple symbol and a blue bracelet were talking, a bench was thrown at them, and it just barely missed them, a clear warning to shut their mouths as Sasha continued walking as if nothing happened.

"She's so bad… man, I think I'm in love…"

"Me too, man… damn…"

"Are you two crazy?! She almost killed us!!"

"That's the best part, you just don't understand."

Their conversation continued as Sasha entered the Inner Dojo area, after passing by a door with a scanner that read her disciple ID card, given by the Dojo to all inner disciples and above.

On the other side, it was a much more refined scenery with much more technology and even a proper gymnasium. The decor was a step above and it matched with Sasha's green inner disciple uniform and yellow bracelet. Something she did on purpose.

The colors of the various ranks of disciples were universal for the bracelets they wore just as the colors of a karate belt were universally the same for the different ranks across the world. However, design and other things were completely up to each martial organization to decide on, so long as it had the symbol and name of the organization with the correct color the rest didn't matter.

This way no matter what the students were wearing in terms of uniform or otherwise, they would always be easily recognized in terms of their disciple rank in relation to the martial organization they belonged to.

"It just feels nice to be here…" Sasha sighed in relief feeling at home now.

As she walked around, a few of her fellow disciples waved their hands at her or gave her a small greeting as she was rather popular even within the inner disciple area.

"Heyyyyy!" Sasha heard a blond young woman with golden eyes yell, and also wearing a green version of the uniform with a completely different design pounce on her and hug her tight.

The girl had white skin a piercing on each ear, and a yellow bracelet on her wrist.

"Hi… I missed you too… let… go… of me… too tight…" Sasha complanied as the girl was suffocating her with the hug.

"Hehehehe, sorry, you're just so precious I couldn't contain myself. As your senior here, I have to show you all the love~, am I right?" She let go of her and smiled widely as she answered leaning in so close they almost bumped heads.

"You need to stop doing that, it's almost creepy. I'll beat you up if it happens, again, understood?" Sasha replied as she grabbed the girl by her collar seemingly threatening her.

"Hehehe, it's so cute when you go all psycho on me. Keep some of that energy for that boyfriend of yours later! I'm sure he appreciates it!" There was a hint of sarcasm in her words as she pouted while responding to Sasha.

"You're a lost cause. Plus you shouldn't hate Nivril so much, you don't even know him. So stop hating him, or else!" Sasha gripped her collar tighter and got serious as she made another threat.

"Hehehe, love the threats, but I think it would work better if you had me upside down, I would feel a little more defenseless that way.

"As for your so-called boyfriend, he left you! So I'm sure of it, he's trash! The type of trash man who only live to break hearts! Don't fall for his trap again!" At first she was very happy and bubbly, but as soon as she spoke of Nivril it was clear she wanted him gone.

"Nope, first he's more like a husband than a boyfriend to me, and second, he's not a heartbreaker more of an insatiable bastard with a knack for gathering women. It's such a change from the naive guy he used to be…

"Honestly, it's good he grew, but I guess part of me misses more of the cute him. You should have seen, he was just the sweetest loveable goof." Sasha smiled as she reminisced the past while still holding her friend by the collar.

"Hmph! If he left you he was never good to begin with! Plus! From what you are saying he came back even worse! So he's a womanizer now too?!?! Unacceptable!!! Get as far away from him as possible right now!" She was not conceived at all by Sasha only hating him more as she heard about him.

"You don't know what you are talking about, even if he did make a mistakes, and I made many myself before… It's just hard for me to not think highly of him, he's my hero, you know…. NOW! Stop hating him before I beat the snot out of you!" Sasha looked her in the eyes as she threatened her.

"Never! He doesn't deserve you! Beat me up if you must! I'll keep fighting to get you off his dirty clushes!" Her friend refused to back down.

"I see, so this is your choice… I expected better from you, Eska, you should know not to mess around. You need disciplining." Sasha grinned maliciously, apparently ready to 'discipline' her supposed friend.

"Now, now, now… If it isn't my Angel of violence, Eska is correct my dear, that guy you call a husband has no right being on your standing at all. You would do better to just accept my hand." A young man with dark skin and dreads locked into a tail, carrying a katana came up to them and spoke with a serious expression on his face.

His eyes were just like amber, as he wore a black uniform and had a yellow bracelet on his hand.

"Seriously… you? Again? I guess, I have to beat you up until you shut up, I'll make sure to break bones this time." Sasha sighed as she looked at him, and then her malicious grin came back as it seemed the energy she had for Eska was about to be redirected.

"You're really trying this again? Honestly, you're just a few steps better than her current situation. Better than nothing, I guess." Eska was not impressed as she remarked with a blank expression on her face.

"How rude, ladies. You should not judge a gentleman on his worst performance, after all, a bad day happens every once in a while. Today, however, I'll show you what I can do. I'll even take your place in the Cultivation Exchange Event while I'm at it." He replied bot bothered by their comments.

"So, that's your real goal? Do you think I'm the weakest in the team or something?! Eska is right here, you know. I'll break extra bones for that." Sasha was not worried at all just offended.

"Yeah, I'm right her-… wait, hey! I'm strong! I'm just skinny! I would never lose to this guy, just look at him with his outdated outfit, disgusting. I'm sure he's the kind of guy to let his mother dress him up even as an adult. Sad." Eska built a whole narrative about him.

"Hey! This is high fashion! Anyway, Sasha, I, Kroma challenge you to a duel. Also, my mother has an amazing sense of fashion! Speak ill of her again, and we'll have to settle this in a duel to death." Kroma smiled as he made the challenge, doing his best to not let how much Eska's comments, hit him, show.
