CHAPTER 8: REUNION OF FAMILY

Police Officer Sam saw the lifeless body of the girl he wanted to marry. He was speechless, witnessing a heart-wrenching scene. Unable to believe the situation, people around him ran towards the spot, treating the body like an exhibition object.

Overwhelmed with pain, Sam screamed, "So-yeon!" and ran towards the lifeless body of Kim So-yeon. Despite his efforts to see the body, people held him back and called for the cops and ambulance service.

On the opposite side of Sam, Arya stood like a statue, feeling a profound sadness for him as he cried over Doctor Kim So-yeon. Arya's parents were shocked by the tragic accident that unfolded before their eyes.

In a lowered voice, Arya expressed, "The doctor who treated me in the medical room has died in front of me, Dad! I can't understand the series of suicidal deaths around me, and now someone has died right before my eyes."

Arya's mother, with a frustrated voice, said, "I don't want my daughter to feel bad for others' deaths, and all I need is peace. Let's go home, my dear Korean husband!"

As Arya's family distanced themselves from the tragic incident, heading home, Arya's eyes fixated on Sam and his tears for Kim Seo-yeon. A sudden increase of negativity overwhelmed Arya's mind, manifesting in a scream related to madness, causing her to lose consciousness.

Arya's mother, emotionally captivated by panic, urgently exclaimed, "Husband! I don't know, but I fear I might lose one more child. Quickly, seek out Dr. Lee Bo-young,she is our only source of hope."

"Maya! Yes, we lost our elder child, but nothing will happen to our little girl Arya. Let me focus on driving,we will quickly reach Dr. Lee Bo-young, and she will do her best to bring our daughter to normal, just like she did last time," responded Arya's father in a rushed manner.

"Why is every annoying thing happening to my family? I have already lost so much, Hyubin. If something happens to our daughter, I promise you I won't have any single reason to live in this fucking clueless world. I thought the problems behind us would be solved, but they're just growing like a malignant thing. I feel really hopeless, like I am going to lose Arya. If my mother were alive, she would definitely help me bring Arya back to normal," Arya's mother says.

Arya's parents rushed to Dr. Lee Bo-young's psychiatric hospital, while Police Officer Sam stood in despair over the lifeless form of Kim Seo-yeon. Suddenly, the clouds turned black, and rain began, causing people around to scatter. So-yeon's lifeless body was cleared from the park, transported to the hospital for postmortem.

Sam knelt down, opened his gallery, and saw a wallpaper of Dr. Kim So-yeon. Overwhelmed, he smashed the phone and began crying repeatedly. His mind drifted back to flashes of memories with her. His strict father arrived with an umbrella, picking him up and taking him home. Sam behaved like a lifeless person, deeply affected by the death of Kim Seo-yeon.

Sam's father stopped the car in an unknown area and spoke, "My son, I may be an old personality, but I know you are deeply affected by her death. Focus, act like a cop,that will help you reach the criminal behind her death. Being emotional just makes you weak, and nothing will be on your side. Do you understand?"

Sam nodded, indicating that he understood the situation, and said, "Let's go to the hospital where her body is undergoing a postmortem, and let's offer support to her family."

Dr. Lee Bo-young checked Arya's condition and informed, "My dear Maya, your daughter needs rest, and she is mentally affected by the incident around her. Let her stay here for some time,she will be alright. Hmm... Hyubin, my friend, tell your wife to calm down, she is feeling too low."

Arya's father said, "Lee-young, she is worrying a lot for Arya, as she lost her elder one already."

Arya's father received a call from his mother, instructing him to come to Seoul Seobuk Hospital for important news. He informed Maya and started driving his car towards the destination his mother had mentioned.

sam and his father reached the hospital where so-yeon's family was utterly broken by her death, and he tried his best to console them.

On the hospital screen tv, breaking news flashed, with an anchor announcing, "Big breaking news!!! the internet is now buzzing with the viral nudity video of a teacher, Hwa-Young, and the doctor kim so-yeon kissing each other. and also another video where they both use drugs. both of them were working in the same prestigious high school."

The news spread all over the internet, and people's comments were filled with jokes and memes about them. sam and so-yeon's family were shocked to see the news. as they were clueless, both sam and yeon's family received calls from their relatives and friends, who started commenting regarding the videos.

In the same hospital, Arya's father, Hyubin, arrives, and his mother comes with Park Min-ho's family. Arya's father, in a confused state of mind, questions, "Why did you call me, Mother? I'm literally shattered with Arya's health condition."

Hyubin's mother, in a strict voice, says, "Do you remember your sister? Your blood sister, Park Bo-young, who ran away with her lover, Park Chan Wan, by betraying our family's name, died fifteen years back because of cancer. Today, her husband also died due to an accident. The woman standing in front of you is his second wife and her two children. The young teen boy crying over there is Park Bo-Young's only child. His second wife has the capacity to take care of her two children with the help of her parents, but she doesn't want Park Bo-Young's child. So..."

Arya's father interrupts, "We need to take care of him?"

Hyubin's mother responds, "My daughter never listened to my words and ended up dying. Her husband's family is telling us to take care of her son. So I decided to send him to an orphanage."

Arya's father insists, "Stop it, Mother. He is my own sister's son. Look at that boy's eyes, don't you remember your own daughter? Yes, she betrayed us when we arranged a marriage for her, but she ended up running away with her lover. I too got angry with her, but the moment I heard of her death, all my anger vanished in the dust of the air. I have the capacity to take care of him too. So, I've decided to stand with him, Mother."

Hyubin's mother concedes, "Hmmm... your wish, and I am done with that. Hey, Ms. Second, did you hear that? Hereafter, we will take care of Min-ho."
