Ch 761 - Killing Immortals

But the immortals had already made their decision, so there was nothing Louis could do to stop them.

One by one, they surrounded Alex from all directions, and all kinds of strange spells flew toward him. Even though he was facing so many enemies, Alex wasn't afraid. If anything, he just seemed to get angrier.

"It's about time!" he said, bursting into laughter. Then he grew serious. Moments later, his entire body seemed to get bigger, and he became even more handsome. Finally, he had revealed his true form.

Alex stood in the center of the crowd, his black hair fluttering in the wind, and his eyes shining brightly. He looked incredibly powerful. His long robe fluttered in the wind as the energy surged around his body, giving him the appearance of a god who had descended to the mortal world.

Louis stood nearby, staring at Alex as if he were in some kind of trance. He had no idea what to make of the young man. As he struggled to understand what was happening, the fighting began again.

"So, this is the invincible Great One!" Cadel shouted. He was tall and broad with a thick white beard, and his bronze-colored skin made him look like an ancient hero. The huge steel ax in his hand rested on his shoulder, and it must have been exceptionally heavy, but Cadel carried it with ease.

He shifted the ax to his hand, and then he charged forward. As he ran, he brought back his arm, and then he threw the weapon right at Alex, intending to destroy him.

The ax rushed toward Alex with such tremendous force that he could hear the air whistling as the weapon approached him.

The other enemies around him began to cast more spells, renewing their attack. With all of them joining forces to attack at the same time, Alex had to give it everything he had.

He threw out a punch with incredible force, slamming his fist into the giant ax before it could hit him.

As he made contact with the ax, there was a sound like the ringing of an enormous bell. It was so loud that it almost shattered the eardrums of everyone around him. Alex had relied purely on his mortal body to withstand the force of the huge steel ax that weighed as much as a small car. And in front of everyone's shocked eyes, Alex's punch sent the ax flying back toward Cadel, who expertly caught it, but the impact forced him to take a few steps back.

It was only then that he realized, to his horror, that there was a fist print on the front of the ax, imprinted several inches deep into the blade.

Apparently, Alex's fist was even harder than steel.

Before he could react, Alex rushed forward and broke through his defenses. He attacked Cadel repeatedly, and then he struck out with the base of his palm, sending Cadel flying and leaving a clear palm print in his chest armor.

In the next instant, Alex exchanged blows with seven opponents in quick succession, and the entire valley was filled with the noise of fighting. Sand and dust flew into the air, along with countless streams of energy, as they battled ferociously, each determined to do whatever it took to win.

The seven fighters were furious as they surrounded Alex in the center of the battlefield. He had managed to strike each one in turn, but they had only suffered minor injuries, and they could still fight. And even more enemies had already stepped into the middle of the battle, attacking Alex with all kinds of weapons, spells, and special abilities.

From high above, Asher spread his wings as wide as he could and began to dive toward him, streaking through the air like a comet.

Alex was surrounded by the crowd, and the fighting was chaotic. He charged left and right, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't break through the immortals, and his enemies continued to block his attacks. They would fight him for a while and then retreat to allow new fighters to take their place. Alex was fighting many people at the same time, but he still felt unbeatable.

His fighting spirit was raging, and the adrenaline surged through his body in waves. His body had been pushed to its absolute limit, and it seemed to be glowing with a golden light. And then, in an instant, he broke through the barrier of space and time.

He traveled three hundred feet in the blink of an eye and struck out at Cadel. As he rushed forward, there was a loud boom as he broke the sound barrier, and a white ring that looked like a cloud appeared behind him.

Cadel never saw it coming. Alex punched him in the chest with such force that his heart stopped. His face barely had time to register his shock before he crumpled into a heap on the ground and didn't get back up.

The infamous Cadel was dead.

Asher saw that the others were starting to hesitate. "Let's attack together," he shouted. "No matter how powerful he is, he won't be able to withstand us all indefinitely."

Reagan had seen what Alex had done, and he tried to use all his strength to transform into lightning so that he could break through the space-time barrier, too. But he had clearly miscalculated. He collapsed from the effort, and rather than damaging Alex in any way, he found himself seriously injured and exposed. Breaking the barrier simply required too much strength.

Alex had done it once, but now, under attack from dozens of people at the same time, he was finding it difficult to accumulate enough energy to do it again.

He exchanged blows with another five fighters. Then he noticed Reagan and managed to send him flying across the battlefield. Taking advantage of a rare moment of calm, he split the air and pulled out a light sword covered with golden runes.

He held the magic sword and slashed out, cutting through the layers of wind and lightning, killing Valentina, the leader of the Snow Mountain sect.

Farris, who had had a good relationship with Valentina, roared with grief. He formed the air around him into sharp blades and hurled them toward Alex, determined to avenge his fallen friend.

It was an ancient and imposing technique, but it was nothing to Alex. Watching Farris carefully, he launched himself into the air and prepared to attack. No matter how many air blades Farris threw, no matter how fast he was, no matter how strong he was, he would not be able to defend himself against Alex's power. Alex clenched his fist and brought it down onto Farris's head with all his strength, killing him instantly.

In the blink of an eye, Alex had killed three people, and each of them had been a world-class fighter. Moreover, he had done it while being attacked by almost twenty others.

The remaining fighters glared at him with unbridled fury.

Asher flapped his wings and rushed over to attack, his sword shining brightly. The other fighters were also boiling with rage, and without hesitation, they rushed over, willing to sacrifice everything.

No one was holding back anymore. Either Alex would die here in the Valley of the Buried Heart, or the rest of them would. There was no other option. Countless spells and attacks came from all directions as Asher, Reagan, and the Fool all tried to destroy him.
