The Little Boy (Karen Jack)

Jack was 12 when he began to notice a Strange call almost every night.. He would put on his earphone just to ignore the strange voice which has been calling, but all his efforts were all in vain. He cried and cried, He became more terrified when the sunsets; for the night was a mystery for him.

one day, he decided to tell his parents what he is passing through all night.

mum.. he called has he sat down on the coach, mum, there's something I need to tell you, he said. Son what's up this time? hope you don't what me to go and buy you chocolate this time... Daddy good evening, evening son Mr philip replied in excitement. How was work, hope that Mr Smith didn't run your day bad with his unsteady project. he said joking.

Yeah he ruin my day, I feel slight headache. sorry dad it will be alright he whispered. okay honey, I bought some chocolate for you have it. he gave it to him. Thanks Dad he said opening the snacks.

welcome honey, let's go inside I need to shower and get to rest cause am tired. They both went inside.

How sweet! Jack Wondered. could this be so nice after experiencing it for quite a long time? he murmured. My Dad is so sweet. he Burst into laughter.

Honey! are you in there? Mrs Philip called as she entered into their fancy room.

Yeah I am. he replied.

How was work honey?. She asked as she entered.

Work was fine, it's just that it's really stressful. He murmured.

Alright, she kissed him and continue, I prepared your favourite dishes.

Wow that's so lovely. You are full of surprises. They both laughed and smiled for awhile. They kept blushing as if they were just meeting, it is quite obvious that nor of them want to spoil that very moment by breaking the silence, The couples kept enjoying that moment until it was ruined. Mum, Dad Jack called out loud as he came closer to the door..... Dad, Mum? Ohhhh? Jack what happened? Mr Robinson asked with fear. Dad it....'s he stammered. It's Balley! She was killed by that monster he cried. They both looked at each other, what they discovered was anger burning in their eyes: How precious that moment was that just a video could spoil?

They didn't know what to say or do to their kid but rather ignored him and tried to get back the precious thing they were doing but couldn't get it. They were becoming fools by this time. What is wrong with you? Mr Philip asked in fury. Sweetie please take it easy on him, he is just a kid. She said as in it really didn't mattered to her.

Dad am sorry. He muttered as he leaves

He sat down and continue playing his movie when he realized that his Dad is angry with him. Wait, is Dad really angry with me? Hmm.. no. My Dad had a reason. This he said because he has not experience such wrath from his father. I think that I went there the wrong time. Or did Mr Smith really offend Dad? He asked himself in confusion. That man is really something to my Dad, he said ignorantly as he continues his movie.

Food is served Mrs Philip called after a short time. They ate as usual, "Now" it's what Jack thinks. Hope dad is not still angry with me. Dad? He called. Yes honey, he replied with excitement.

Dad hope you are still not angry with me, He murmured.

No sweetheart, I am not angry with you... Is just that you came in the wrong time. He said with honesty in his eyes. Thanks Dad, I love very much.

After the dinner, they prayed and departed to their rooms.

Jack went to shower after taking his bath to his satisfaction, he sat on his bed and said: Now I am ready for this so called strange voice. I will disgrace that voice today, He said childishly.

Not quite long, around 11:55 Pm, He's still on watch to see where the person will be hiding to call. Ki... Ki.... There was a strange sound on the roof. He stood up and went to the window, he looked and saw no one. Mweeehh.... (Sounds like that of a cat...) It stopped, it was 12:00 Am when a voice called out. Jack Jack. Who is that? Fuck you, I don't know you, and I won't. Then the voice said, I want to show you somewhere beautiful, i mean your home. I am friendly and won't hurt you!

Do you think you can fool me? Am I a fool? Asked childishly. No you're not a fool. The voice replied warmly.

Now will you follow me? I am your friend now. And it's good having you as a friend. Do you want to see me? The voice asked? Yeah. He replied. Okay, now this is me.

At once a beautiful fair female child appeared and it pleased Him. They chatted and decided to go see the beautiful home. Let's go the girl warmly said. Okay let's go, he replied. At once there came a whirlwind from the east region (the window's direction) and blew them away.

It was like the speed of light as they landed on the beach of the Deep Sea. Then the girl said, this is your home. What? He exclaimed with fear. I don't understand? But my parents don't live here. Why are you showing me a sea telling me it's my home? He asked in anxiety. Yes your parents don't live here, but you are from here, she answered plainly.

Do you also live here? He further asked. Yes, she replied. Hmm. Okay.

Let's go inside she said smiling. No I don't want to follow you inside there, please just take me back to my house. He begged. It won't hurt, and I promise you won't be trapped inside... I will take you back be morning she assured him. Okay, but am scared... Any ways, let's go. Immediately she turned into a mermaid (half human, half fish) hold him and jumped into the water.

Not quite long them reached somewhere which seems to be no water. Somewhere were human can breathe. And it looks beautiful, it's flowers and it was glowing in light. The girl took him and showed some places where they lived, she told him that many of them will kill him if she brings him to them. Jack was this time enjoying his vacation in the water, cause it attracts him with it's beauty.

Jack. Jack. Mrs Philip called as she went closer to the door.

Jack heard his name from the water and was afraid If his parents found out he is not at home.

She went closer to the door and called again. Jack. Jack, but no response. She decided to open the door....
